Arrive at the location at 3:55pm, walked up to the establishment and the door is LOCKED! The garage door was CLOSED. Called twice. Drove around the back and was directed to the front of establishment by another business owner. Parked in front of the establishment, called again, no answer, no return text, no returned email. This window tinting experience was below normal standards from start to finish. The guy does the tint at his house! ( shoulda been 1st red flag ) My car tint has bubbles & scratches & imperfections on EVERY window. I travelled to this location yesterday after speaking with the owner on the phone. Upon my arrival I was greeted by what I believe to be his daughter who handled things professionally the entirety of the time. I was here for no more then 1 hour before my car was complete and ready to be viewed. Once I saw my car, instantly I was ecstatic. This was an appointment and gift to my son for his birthday. so I felt comfortable enough to put a $25 deposit down and show up after I explained I had a 2020 Ridgeline and wanted the front two windows and Windshield tinted. I was quoted a price and again asked if that included the windshield. I was told everything was included. The appointment was at 9am and arrived 5 minutes early. No one was there so my son called and was told someone would be there in a few minutes. At 9:20am the front two windows were getting tinted and finished up at 10:09am When asked if he was going to do the windshield, was told it was not specified and he was running late for his 10am appointment. In short, this business was unprofessional! No warranty offered. My advice... shop around and be patient if another business is booked. That must mean they are doing it right and professional. I just hope it lasts and doesn't bubble or peel like the guys review below mine. We shall see. Paid the deposit. An hour before appointment I got a text stating they would have to reschedule. I never heard anything back ever.

This is my experience with Impressive Window Tints LLC and owner, Calvin James. When visiting the business for my tinting appointment, the owner told me that price would be $10 more than we he originally quoted me (via email) and agreed to over the phone four days prior, when I made an appointment. He eventually agreed on the original price we discussed. Upon inspection of the tint job, I noticed that there were a few avoidable imperfections, such as a large piece of debris in the front passenger side window, a few creases, and a spot where the film was cut too short. I also noticed that my rear driver side window was scratched and that there was damage from what looks like a heat gun on my window seal and the plastic door panel beside the window. One of the pictures attached shows that the film was scratched before it was installed on the inside of the window. I emailed the owner regarding my concerns with my window being scratched and part of my vehicle being burned. The owner's reply clearly dismissed the issue and he eventually ignored my last email regarding situation. I also emailed him about the issues I discovered regarding the tint. He gave me a date which was about a month away (He was available the following day when I called to get my windows tinted). (I have attached screenshots of the emails of correspondence with the owner). We are human and we make mistakes. That being said, when a mistake is made, you should be honest and own up to your mistake instead of making excuses, or ignoring the issue. I have paid less for window tinting from other businesses who did a better job, were not rude, and did not damage my vehicle. A lot of reviewers stated that he was rude, but he did good work. I have discovered that he is rude and he does bad work. After going to a dealership and contacting/ visiting a couple of glass repair companies, I've learned that I would now have to pay over $500 to get my window replaced because the scratch cannot be removed. Even if he was to fix the problems with my tint, I would probably rather pay someone else to retint my windows. This is due to the fact that he is rude, and could possibly cause more damage to my vehicle. Very bad business practices. read more

Buyer beware. Consider yourself lucky if you paid a deposit and someone actually showed up at the establishment to do the work!! You need to go on Goggle and read all the 1 star reviews. I am speaking with an attorney because he stole from the wrong one!! If you were one of DOZENS he stole deposits from, take him to court!! Don't just roll over and let him keep your money. And make sure you are reimbursed for court cost in addition to your deposit!! Also, file a complaint with Better Business Bureau. read more

Got my car and my mother's car tinted in 2017. Tint has lasted without any issues. Customer service was wonderful and great communication before and during the process. Went back to get my window redone as it was replace and I had no issue getting it done. I'll be back with more people and more cars. Don't miss out on quality work and reasonable priced. read more

I had similar experiences with this business. He is very non-chalet when dealing with you. He does not explain the product to you AT ALL. You only know you are getting a 80.00 tint job that will cost you double in the end. All of my windows have bubbles. He makes appts verbally and nothing is concrete. Multiple clients shows at once. He is located in Durham and the area is questionable. I don't recommend this place especially for single ladies. Just pay more to get great customer service elsewhere and better product delivery. read more

I noticed the sign said open so then I proceed to go to my phone to call whoever it was running the store at the time but to receive a message saying " hey we have to reschedule." Literally two minutes later and gave me no warning... I asked why was I being told now instead of before the store had even opened the mysterious person in which I think it was the owner then says " family issues." Literally he waited for me to try to open the door then text me saying we have to reschedule... that's when I knew it was a bunch of false bullshit... instead of trying to book a free available space he just goes back and forth and back and forth... You should NEVER do this to any customer I'm the customer service business I don't care if you're the president.. it's HIGHLY unprofessional... I had to sit there like 25 minutes in their lot trying to discuss options that we never got to... so I made a trip and lost out on gas money, and when I tried to book with another Tinting company everybody else was booked... Whatever you do DONT take your car to impressive tints.. terrible customer service and just full out attitudes that wasn't even necessary... it has no business in the customer service environment... you want to have nice tinted windows on your car I suggest going to Tint world or even Auto acoustics. Sadly unimpressive & unprofessional. Today my mother and I went to get my fathers windows tinted for his birthday. Our appointment was at 12; we arrive on time in the pouring rain, only to find the door was locked, with the open sign turned on, and no one present. So we wait until he finally arrives at 12:38pm. We encounter each other for the first time and he's very nonchalant about his tardiness and the fact that he had us waiting in the rain. Yet he was very firm on the fact of "no cash no service" when it's not even noted on the door or on his website, so how are people suppose to know about this requirement?? Only for us to come back at closing to hear that our car hasn't been touched yet. It would have at least been nice to receive an apology for the inconvenience of being seen 40 minutes after our appointment, then we might have went through with the sale, even if we weren't informed that it still needed to be worked on after business hours. From one black business owner to another, you need to conduct your business and attitude more professionally, so first time customers will want to come back and keep supporting you. The owner is very unprofessional. I waited forever getting tint put on my car. The smell of strong weed while tint was being installed I Called immediately when I got home about lots of air bubbles and corners not right. I even sent pictures He claimed let it dry. it dried with air bubbles and corners popping back. He agreed by text to refund my money but required tint removed. Hes been playing a game about responding and scheduling. I requested just refund money via cash app. He said no money refunded until I take 2+hours removing the tint. Hes the worst business. I'm leaving this business a 1 Star review for a few reasons. When I first went to the place I asked the man to tint all 5 of my windows but I requested him to remove any tint that was already on my Windows. He did what I told him for all of my Windows except the back one. When I took my car back to him for repairs he was not able to fix the tint job that he had initially done. He stated that he couldn't fix the job because he didn't have the tools to pull the tint off the rear view window that he tinted over! He offered two bullshit solutions and neither of the solutions made sense. His first solution was we could scrape the tint off my Windows with a razor including the defrost lines! His second solution was for us to order a brand new rear view window and replace the one with the shitty tint! Neither of those solutions were good enough for me. Why would I scrape the defrost out my rearview window and why would I buy a brand new window when nothing is wrong with the window I have except for the pissy tint job with bubbles you did. He didn't really have an answer for me so he gave me 50 dollars back and I went to another business up the street who could remove the tint for me ( thank god for folks who know what they doing). After they removed my tint I went back down the street to my original tint man and he said he was booked for the remainder of the day and for me to comeback next Thursday. I go back at our scheduled time and he is no where to be found. I give him a call and he does not pick up but instead texts me saying 10 first of all I have no idea what 10 means.. does that mean you're 10 minutes away,10 seconds away or you can't get there until 10?! Secondly I reached out to him the night before arrival making sure that we still had our scheduled time. At this point I was fed up and felt like my time was being played with. I would never recommend any one to do business here. His hours say 8-5 but he is never there at 8 I could go on and on man.
