What needs to be improved significantly: -Appointment times and availability. -Delivery of trays. -Responsiveness and transparency. -Customer service. I was told my treatment would take around 6 to 8 months. It took about a year because of the delays in delivering the trays. This is simply not acceptable when doing dental work. The quality of the trays at the end of treatment seemed to be better- sort of "sturdier" - than the previous set of trays I received. Not sure why. Or maybe cuz I had to wear my previous trays for so long before I received the new ones they got bad!!? My thoughts after Impress and having tried Invisalign in the past....definitely stick with Invisalign if you are planning to get your teeth aligned. For optimal results, no matter which company you go with, always wear your retainers after treatment has ended, especially at night. CONSULTATION: My consultation visit went really well and left such a great first impression that I decided to start my journey in realigning my teeth with Uniform. They were super helpful in answering all my questions and getting me what I needed to get started. I also got a sense of transparency from them which I really appreciated. FIRST VISIT: About a week before the appointment for my first visit to get started, Erin sent me a text asking to reschedule because my aligners wouldn't be arriving in time. No problem of course, I was happy to push my appointment back by a week. Just a couple hours later, I received a UPS email notification that my aligners would be arriving the next day. The next day, I got a notification that they were delivered. I texted Erin asking to move my appointment back to the original date but never heard back. I then heard from someone else via the app that they are fully booked the week my initial appointment was scheduled for. It bothered me a little bit that this happened, but I really do want to give the benefit of the doubt that it was all an honest mistake. On my new appointment date, I showed up 10 minutes prior to the appointment time as they have a strict policy of being rescheduled if you are more than 5 minutes late. What bothered me is that in every single one of my visits, I was always at least 10 minutes early, but I was never seen at my appointment time and always ended up waiting 5-10 minutes after. I don't mind having to wait, but I don't like being asked to arrive early if I won't be seen in a timely manner. ALIGNMENT: Aside from my in person experiences, this journey was incredible! The process from start to finish was very seamless and intuitive, and I never had any issues going through it independently. I will say, it requires a significant amount of your own diligence and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't confident that they can fully commit. The minimum daily wear time is 20 hours with 22 hours recommended, and personally, I think it's easier said than done. But! Throughout my weekly virtual check-ins and in-person visits, the doctors always expressed that they can tell I was wearing my retainers as it really showed, and it would be evident if I wasn't. Teeth don't lie! A visual storyteller at heart, I am sure that there is nothing my parents believed I was better at as a kid than drawing on any piece of mail, book, or even napkin I could get my hands on. These days, I try to put my energy into greater things than making a mess for others to clean up after. No matter when or where, I have found that nothing makes me happier than helping people smile, so I thank Uniform for helping me smile. read more

I've been coming to this clinic for over three years -- back when it was under its original name and had Dr. Fan and a wonderful team that truly cared about patients. That was why I chose this place. But after the clinic changed its name and the Bellevue location closed, everything went downhill. Since then, I've been switched between four different doctors, and now there's only one left. before it was 1 full time, 1 part time, now only 1 doctor in this clinic. Every time I come in for a scheduled braces adjustment, the assistant does everything. Unless I raise a concern, the doctor doesn't even look at my teeth. But how would I know if something's wrong? If I could evaluate my own bite, I wouldn't need an orthodontist. Three months ago, I told the doctor that my bite was off and my teeth were still misaligned. Three months later -- no improvement. At my most recent appointment, a bracket came off. The doctor barely looked at my teeth, didn't ask about my progress, and even told the assistant to use a stronger adhesive on my crown (it shouldnt b/c it was a temperary crown.) That crown was part of Dr. Fan's careful long-term plan. It felt like this new doctor hadn't even reviewed my history. I paid $6,900 two years ago expecting professional care. Dr. Fan used to examine everything in detail and make precise adjustments each time. Now, I just feel like I'm being rushed through with minimal supervision. Really disappointed. If I were given another chance to choose, I would definitely not pick this orthodontic institution. The service is completely unresponsive. I was supposed to wear a total of 30 sets of braces. When I reached the 24th set, I waited for six weeks. The new braces never arrived and no staff member contacted me. I made numerous calls but none of them answered my questions. The problem is I have been waiting for so long , but no one contacted me back to confirm that my insurance hasn't been paid yet. This Problem Began with Aligners That Stopped Fitting I am undergoing aligner treatment with Smile2Impress, and things started to fall apart when my 18th set of aligners stopped fitting. After multiple calls and messages, I was finally scheduled for a rescan two weeks later, on November 13. At the appointment, I was informed that the next set of aligners would take 4-6 weeks to arrive instead of the usual 10 days due to a "cheaper factory" being used. My previous doctor had also quit, which added to my unease. Severe Delays and Avoidance After patiently waiting for 6 weeks, I reached out for updates, only to be ignored by the clinic manager who initially promised to stay in contact. The support team in their app repeatedly responded with vague statements like "they will contact you," but nobody ever did.It has now been 9 weeks, and I am still stuck wearing a broken set of aligners that are clearly not designed for such an extended period. The physical discomfort and risk to my dental health are undeniable. False Claims About Insurance and Payments On January 9, I was informed of "payment problems" as the reason for the delay, and that someone will contact me, which nobody did. When I called, the company falsely claimed that my insurance rejected their "stamps" or requests, delaying the production of my new aligners. I contacted my insurance provider, who confirmed there were no such issues and provided proof that contradicts the company's claims. Despite presenting this evidence to Smile2Impress, they have refused to provide an explanation and are now avoiding dialogue altogether. Lack of Accountability When I call, I am constantly told that the person responsible "isn't available" - they are at lunch, not in the office yet, or have already left. They promise callbacks that never happen. For over a week, I've been calling daily, but nobody is taking responsibility for resolving this situation. Extremely disappointed with the entire process. I was told the process would take about 8 months. It ended up taking over a year due to delays and difficult scheduling and I still ended up with below average results and will likely have to seek additional orthodontic support to achieve the smile I wanted. It is nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone at the office and I was constantly told "we will get back to you" and never heard back. The first time I got braces was in 4th grade, having done it 20 years ago now, let's just say my teeth have moved around a bit since then. During that year, I also had multiple teeth removed because my mouth was too small and disfigured with a front tooth growing in front of my other front as well as a bottom tooth growing behind my bottom one. Yea it wasn't a pretty sight which is why I can understand my parents wanting to get my teeth fixed right away. Fast forward 10 years and my wisdom teeth grew once more crookedly due to my mouth being too small, which I guiltily admit that I was not a big fan of wearing my retainers probably a year or so after I got my braces off the first time around. I had to get two surgically removed and two pulled. Now I'm left with misaligned teeth top and bottom once more. I'm sorry mom and dad, you spent thousands at the time to fix my monster teeth and now it's crooked again. I got referred by my friend to check out Uniform Teeth and I've honestly been wanting to get some sort of straightening done but I really do not want to get braces again, no way after the hardships I endured for three years in elementary school, being made fun of. But nowadays, there's a more high tech version using aligners but it can get pretty pricy and so I haven't really researched into other brands until now. I scheduled an appointment for a free consultation which was amazing by the way because the doctor did a full and detailed examination, we got x-rays done of my entire mouth using the advanced 3D scanning technology (super cool by the way), you won't find any of that goop that some dentists use to mold your teeth, you know the one where it makes you gag, blech. Also if I haven't mentioned already, they are a full service team of top orthodontists! They won't refer you elsewhere or have to use a third party service for anything! Everything is done in house! I was nervous about learning which tier I fall into (1 being the least amount of work to 4 requiring extensive work) and fortunately I fall into the 1st tier and the pricing was so reasonable! I mean, all the office visits, aligners, and retainer at the end is included. My personal favorite highlight of this trip was the fact that Dr. Silja was kind enough to let me know about the other dental issues I have going on and Daniel the patient care specialist was so helpful in finding a referral to a regular dentist that they recommend and it's literally across the street from where I live, so thank you for that! They literally are so informative and if you don't understand something, they really break down the information for you. Of course nearing towards the end, I asked about payment plans and they have 4 options. The two I would consider is the 24 month 0% interest plan (soft credit pull) or the 4 payment plan also 0% interest! read more

My aligners were delayed on almost 2 months to be shipped to my address. My appointment to add the attachments was rescheduled 3 days before to almost a month later now, delaying my treatment even more with no accommodating on their part for an appointment sooner. I have been in communication directly with two different team members for a couple months now promising a refund and not delivering. They keep drawing it out saying they will have a response from the finance team soon and they don't know why it is taking so long. The disorganization and lack of common decency to the customer is sad. I would recommend biting the extra cost and going to a real orthodontist. Not worth it. Update: Thanks to Chelsey for sorting things out. The office staff have always been great and friendly to me. My only concern was with the lack of support which I received on the app related to the clearance process. Chelsey informed me that they are revamping the clearance process and also helped me in getting all my other concerns resolved. Updating to 4 stars for now. Once I had made the payment, I was told my account will be paused and I needed general dentist clearance to start the process. I was fine with this. So, I got the clearance from my dentist to start the treatment but I am still not able to schedule my follow up appointment. Followed up with the Uniform teeth support team multiple times on the app which is a complete waste of time btw because they take days to respond and respond with a generic message which doesn't make a lot of sense. Apparently they are not able to reach my dentist office. And their calls are going to it's voice mail eventhough whenever I call the office in their office hours I can get to them. So, long story short I had paid for this in January and have still not been able to start my treatment. I would be disputing the charges on the card if they continue to keep my account paused. It's really frustrating and unethical on their part. I noticed few red flags in the beginning which I ignored. Like the guy selling the plan promised to send an Amazon gift card of $150 if I made the payment right away. Which I did but I never got that gift card. I didn't bother following up with them on this. Also, most of the positive reviews that you see are from people who are impressed from their first visit. Yes, they make sure your first visit is great so that u buy into their plan. But it's only downhill from there. Once you buy a treatment plan you won't even be able to setup a follow up appointment. Also, the 3d X-ray technology that people here are getting impressed with is not something groundbreaking. You can find it in cheap dental offices as well like smile direct and so on. read more

I am a previous braces wearer who may have missed a few days wearing her retainer and the thought of getting back in the process of wearing braces to fix my teeth was a no-go for me. I really enjoyed my treatment with Uniform Teeth! I had some minor crowding because I didn't diligently wear my retainer after braces. The weekly aligner changes are nice and easy to keep them clean. They accepted my insurance so it was under $2,000 for my total treatment and took just under 6 months. I loved the flexibility with the treatment plan. For example, I had a wedding in Mexico and knew I wouldn't be able to wear my aligners for the full time. I messaged ahead of time and they told me to wear my old trays and not switch until I got back home. I loved the free whitening gel & case. Also the graduation gift bag is such a sweet little surprise. Dr. Silja is funny, very matter-of-fact, fast, and a perfectionist. She made sure my smile was exactly what I wanted while offering her professional opinion. James, the tech, was very kind, polite, and always explained what I could expect. My experience at Uniform Teeth, the Seattle location, has been great from start to (almost) finished. The staff and dr are friendly, professional and thoroughly explained process and answered all my questions. The treatment was effective and very easy to follow. The uniform teeth app is a great way to check in once a week. The care staff there was able to detect that a tooth wasn't following the movement expected so had me back track a bit and that fixed the issue. This is a pre-review and then I will do a post-review when I finish treatment. Just wow. What a great experience. A few days ago an AD for Uniform Teeth appeared on my Instagram, and I was enticed. Also I have a friend that has had treatment here as well so I immediately signed up for a free consultation. I have had braces before, but my teeth shifted because my retainers kept getting ruined (thanks to a furry friend lol). I have been on the fence about getting them corrected until I came across the AD. I had my appointment this morning and was welcomed by Erin, the kind lady at the front desk. We shared a few laughs and soon after, I was met with Daniel who brought me to the room to have my exam. The 3D scan was a fascinating experience and Daniel made me feel comfortable throughout the whole exam. This staff is very humorous and professional at the same time, they kept me smiling and laughing. Next I was met with Dr. Lauren who broke down the whole treatment and the plan for correcting my teeth. She explained everything so well and clearly for me to understand, that I had no questions to ask at the end (besides the price which is really affordable and they offer 4 different payment plans). Not only was the staff amazing, but the office itself is very nice, I was impressed when I first walked in. I think in the first 20 minutes I was already inclined to go through with my treatment here. I am very excited to start next month!
