I originally had them do a pre-purchased inspection on my former 2020 Audi A7 and they did a very thorough job. After that, I purchased a 2012 Audi Q7 and went down a very deep rabbit hole to seek perfection on a car that I probably should have left well enough alone. Along the way, though, Tuning Gruppe did a great job of rationalizing the work that I wanted to do and gave me great service at a fair price. They are adept at working on a variety of different European mix and models, and they're not afraid to get their hands dirty on an older car like mine.

I met Joe through my former BNI networking group and decided to give his shop a try. When I stopped by, I explained my situation, and he immediately stepped up to help. Joe was able to complete all the necessary repairs the same day and at nearly half the cost of what I was used to paying. I was extremely impressed -- and so was my wife. The honesty, fairness, and quality of service were exceptional. Going forward, we'll be using Joe for all our auto repair needs.

My vehicle had some serious issues, airbag sensor errors that required new airbags, a new seat, and computer reprogramming. I saved hundreds, if not thousands, and got better service too. You don't come across shops like this very often. I'm officially a forever customer and will be recommending D'Auto Boys to everyone I know. Thanks again, Joe!

Anyway, someone referred me to Chandler Auto, which is about a mile from my new house. I was a little concerned when I saw the place--it's pretty small and didn't look particularly modern or clean--but I had a great experience. My car was leaking oil, and whereas a less honest mechanic might have overstated the problem and overcharged me for the repair, "Fred" told me someone had simply used the wrong plug. He changed my oil, replaced the plug, and only charged me for the oil change. I don't know about you, but one of the ways a mechanic gains my trust is by offering me a simple and expensive fix instead of taking advantage of the situation. Chandler Auto did exactly that, and they now have a loyal customer.

I can't recommend The Car Shop enough. I originally came here because I was looking for a small,…read moreindependent repair shop that was honest, trustworthy, and fairly priced. They have exceeded my expectations in every one of those areas. Here's been my experience so far: A while back, I took my car to the Mazda dealership for a free recall repair. While it was there, they recommended several thousand dollars' worth of maintenance that I wasn't convinced was necessary. I brought both my car and the dealership's recommendations to The Car Shop for a second opinion. They walked me through each item, explaining what was and wasn't actually needed based on the manufacturer's maintenance schedule and my vehicle's mileage. Not only did they save me from paying for unnecessary work, but the services they did perform were significantly less expensive than the dealership's quotes. During the same visit, I also asked them to diagnose my A/C because it wasn't blowing cold air. They performed extensive testing, clearly explained the results, and presented me with two options: a lower-cost repair that would likely be a temporary improvement, or a more comprehensive repair involving replacement of several major A/C components that would provide a longer-lasting solution. They never pressured me either way. After discussing the pros and cons, I decided to go with the more extensive repair. It was admittedly an expensive job, but they were transparent about the costs from the beginning, shopped around to find the best prices on replacement parts, and even offered a discount for paying in cash. On top of that, they performed my oil change and rear differential fluid service at no additional charge to help offset the cost of the repair. Everything worked perfectly for about six months before the A/C stopped blowing cold again. I brought it back to The Car Shop, and they quickly diagnosed a leak, repaired it, and recharged the refrigerant completely free of charge because the work was covered under their warranty. Finding an honest mechanic can be difficult, but these guys have earned my trust. They take the time to explain their recommendations, don't try to sell you work you don't need, stand behind their repairs, and charge fair prices. I'll definitely continue bringing my vehicles here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable local shop.
