I am surprised with this shop having 5 stars and getting my car fixed the next day! I thought I was going to be on a waiting list. Anyways my car would jerk here and there when pushing on the gas pedal, so I looked up near by shops and I saw this had a 5 star. I went there like 5:30pm and told them my problem, Simon suggested I leave my car there because it was already near closing time. Of course I left my contact information with him and the next day Simon called me saying a hose is busted and my transmission fluid leaked out, if I was willing to pay the 275.00 that he wanted he would get it fixed ASAP. Honestly thought I was going to pay $500. So by noon my car was up and running. I am going to bring my cars here for service from now on, I asked for a quote for my brakes as well he said $140. Excellent work, straight forward guy, honest and very very helpful. Drive my car home, ran some errands , went to my school , it was like it never happened. Very happy.

He cleaned my engine...never seen it look so good

I took my sedan in for an oil change last week in the first. Very next day while pulling out of the driveway in my other vehicle, I notice the sedan is leaking oil. Every day I drove it since last week, I noticed a small leak. I take it back to Mike this morning before they open. He comes back about 15 minutes later and says "you have a BIG PROBLEM.". Then he says he's I'm all set, everything is fine . He said the seal around the oil change bolt was bad and he put a new one in. No paperwork, no fees, just handed me my keys and said I'm all set. He has been doing ALL my auto work since last year (see clean engine pictures) when he put in a used transmission in my Honda and fixed the ACs in both vehicles. My step father wrecked my Honda the day after (?) the super bowl this year and it was deemed a total loss. I took it to Mike and got 2 replacement doors and the "hood" and pocketed more than half the settlement. He did one other minor touch up and I was all set to go to mvd for a salvage title restored inspection. I went in a couple months ago for struts on the sedan and he got me a barely used (just as good or better than the other 3) tire for $40. This guy is totally legit, honesty, trustworthy, and just a great guy to do business with. He continues to amaze me and my limited finances make his shop the place to go for my 2 paid off "beaters".

I was referred to this place a few years ago. Came in for a starter on my Honda. They did a great job and the price was reasonable. They took the time to show, explain, and give me options. I appreciate the honest since a lot of mechanics try to swindle customers. Since my car is older it continues to need more maintenance and they have been very considerate in communicating when something is not required or needed at the time. I highly recommend this business for all your car needs.

Unfortunately, the issue came back not long after. We then brought the car here based on the good reviews, hoping for a real solution. The mechanic said he inspected the car and couldn't find anything wrong except that I needed an oil change and "Honda-specific" spark plugs. He also cleared the dashboard settings, which we found extremely frustrating because that doesn't solve the issue--it just masks it temporarily. At that point, it was already done, and we couldn't reverse it. We went ahead and bought the spark plugs directly from Honda and had them replaced, even though the original ones weren't aftermarket or low quality. Surprise--same issue came back again. Whether it's "higher-end" spark plugs or not, my car continues to have the exact same problems. Honestly, I don't understand why that recommendation was made in the first place. We even spoke to friends who work at dealerships and Honda, and they confirmed that advice was completely inaccurate. The car might be running *slightly* better, but it's like comparing Pepsi to Coke--it's still the same drink. At the end of the day, nothing was truly resolved. At this point, it feels like this is just one of those issues no mechanic seems able to figure out. Disappointing experience all around. Late update, but this happened on July 10, 2025. the only reason i came here was due to the 4.5-4.7 star reviews and the fact that it was near me.

After the installation, I took my car for a ride and there were many warning lights on the dashboard. Not sure if they damaged all the sensors on the car but all the sensors are now giving me warning lights and these warning lights will not go away. If you have newer cars, DO NOT let these guys fix your cars. One of the mechanics was hitting the back rotor with a huge hammer very hard to get it off and must have damaged all the sensors, I guess. Another possibility is that the other mechanic was using an electric saw to cut off the dust covers and might have cut a cable to cause all the warning lights to show up on the dashboard. I sent them an email about all the warning lights but no response from them. They were able to install the 4 rotors and 4 calipers just fine but the brakes don't feel very tight and feel loose when hitting the brakes. I have to push the brake pedal almost all the way down to the floor in order to stop the car. I recommend these guys if you have older cars with no latest technologies. I thought he meant "around the corner" like... metaphorically. Spiritually. Philosophically. NOPE. Homie meant literally. As in, if I sneeze too hard, I might accidentally tumble into their parking lot. That kind of close. My old lifelong mechanics packed-up shop in November (RIP to fallen heroes), and I didn't even get my last-minute, "Hey, can you listen to this weird noise real quick?" visit in before they vanished forever. And look... I'm the kind of person who rides the car hard, then panics when it's been too long because cars need maintenance, and maintenance needs money, and I need BOTH those things to keep existing in this world. So I roll up for an introductory oil change, fully knowing my little green micro machine was running on the automotive equivalent of vibes and stale air. I meet Aaron at the front desk... kind, compassionate, chill, and somehow able to listen to my mechanical confessions without judgment. I hear you don't always get that at auto shops. I instantly felt safe, which is wild. I also hear Frank is The Man™. Didn't get to meet him this time, but if he's anything like Aaron, I know he's out there doing God's greasy work. Oil change pricing? Reasonable. Standard. Didn't make me consider pawning anything sentimental. They told me to come back anytime I needed something... and the way I drive? Oh, I might need to. AND THEN... the plot twist of the century. For the first time in the history of me owning this vehicle, I've never assigned a gender to my car. This one was just The Green Machine. Gender-fluid. Mysterious. Vibing. UNTIL Aaron casually said, "Yeah, she's chugging along." Excuse me? SHE? Was I unaware my green machine is actually a badass chick? Apparently, yes. Thank you, Aaron, for revealing the truth about my car's identity. I didn't name her... SHE arrived named. Anyway, I'm officially hooked. This is my new place. I'm gonna dig out the old mechanic list and bring my newly-discovered automotive queen back for whatever tender love and wrench-based interventions she needs. 5/5. New neighborhood unlocked. Stress reduced. Mechanic found by divine homie intervention. My car has a gender now. What a day.

However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.

So very kind and understanding as they knew she was going through a difficult time. They did a thorough check of her car. She had previously been told she had a transmission leak. These gentlemen did not find it. The "Check Engine" light, fortunately, was related to her tires. The batteries were old. There was some seepage from the brakes, but it was minimal. As for the brakes, they were still in good shape, but will eventually need attention. When she asked how much she owed them for their time, they told us "Zero". No charge! They understood she was going through a difficult time with her husband being in the hospital these past two months and assured her that her vehicle was safe to drive. They did invite her to return in six months for her next oil change and they would check her brakes again. Needless to say, I am so impressed with the kindness these gentlemen showed my neighbor, and that they could have charged her for their time as they did a thorough check of her SUV, but they did not.
