Had work done on my Jeep and paid around $1,500, and honestly I regret trusting this shop…read more They installed a no-name, low-quality battery in a vehicle that is known to be very sensitive to battery quality and reserve capacity. These cheaper batteries often have thin internal plates and poor reserve power, which in hot climates like ours leads to premature failure, and that's exactly what happened. That battery lasted only about 6 months before needing replacement, then again around 9 months later it failed again, causing additional electrical and transmission-related issues due to inconsistent power delivery. I later took the Jeep to another mechanic up the road, and they immediately pointed out the battery as the problem and explained that this vehicle requires a proper, high-quality battery, not an off-brand, entry-level unit. So in less than 2 years, I ended up replacing the battery three times and spending another $230 just to correct what should have been done properly in the first place. This has cost me far more time, money, and stress than it ever should have. I feel like I was overcharged for work that did not prioritize quality parts or long-term reliability. As someone else put it... faith? Yeah--faith in the almighty dollar, not in doing the job right.

honestly knowing what I know now I wish I would have done more due diligence. dudes claim to be all…read morehonest and God-fearing but in reality they're gonna scam you. it was incredibly expensive to get our AC fixed and and a total waste of money as it lasted about 5 months before it broke again.

I brought my 2001 Ford ranger xlt to get my transmission fixed. It has a 1+2 hard shift…read more The owner was very unprofessional. He had a mix of defensiveness , liability avoidance , and not a real diagnosis. He test drove my truck hard to avoid reproducing the problem, he asked me 3 times if I'm a mechanic and if I can work on transmissions, he was trying to size up liability risk. He handled it poorly. My transmission has a hard1+2 shift handles under normal /light throttle . He should've driven the way I described and knowledged the symptom right away. Instead he tried to dismiss it under heavy throttle (bad test method) then backed out once he knew I've been working on it. My truck drives fine on highway speeds, has no slipping, no burnt fluid or metal, issue is isolated to shift timing/pressure. That strongly supports valve body/hydraulic issue, not a full transmission failure. Bottom line he handled it poorly. I wasn't asking for a rebuild, just a diagnosis . Felt like they didn't want to deal with anything that required real trouble shooting.

I've been coming to Tri-City for about 2 years and have been absolutely impressed by the customer…read moreservice and quality of their work. My vehicle has only needed oil changes multi-point inspections this far. The cost is not cheap, but the value is far better than the quick lube joints and better than the dealership. The owner is involved and the rest of the staff are all super friendly honest & you know they are not going to try to up sell you on things you don't need. 11 out of 10 would recommend to friends and family. They are so good you would feel good sending your mom or grandma there and know they will be in good hands.
