Several friends recommended Import Auto Service, so we had some repair work done by them on our 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 and were very happy with the price, work and friendly service.
Our vehicle is not the easiest car to work on because it contains both Chrysler and Mercedes auto parts. This has been an issue with other repair shops but not with Import Auto Service.
I will certainly use them in the future. read more
Took car in for a a/c diagnose/estimate for stated $50 charge. They called and claimed car needed a new a/c compressor and it would be almost $1500. I said no thank you as the compressor is $300-600 depending on rebuilt or new oem. Also was told the original quoted price for estimate would now be $ 100 because it was harder than they thought. I asked about Freon pressures and would like to talk to the tech that diagnosed car. Was told he probably wouldn't remember the specifics since they are so busy. Went to pick car up and had to call their number and ask someone to come to the desk/waiting area after sitting there for 15 minutes ( evidently the front desk guy was out getting breakfast. A nice gentleman came out to help me and turns out he is the tech that diagnosed my cars a/c. I asked him why he thought it was my compressor and was told it was not building pressure. Funny thing is on the way home i turned the air on and it was working- not great but cool. I am going to have to get it repaired but not with this garage- be wary. read more
