We are thrilled to announce that there is finally an Indian Buffet in Tracy again, and this was our first time trying it out. So far, it has been an awesome experience. I had the pleasure to stop by at the new restaurant and man, was it a great choice the food was fresh, nice and hot, but most of all super yummy. The non-bread was so soft and fluffy & as for the butter chicken it was on point not too sweet and not too spicy just right. Will be going back real soon. Imperial spice- Indian restaurant in Tracy.-We visited this place few weeks ago during dinner time. food was delicious and the portion size was good & service was fast, Since under new ownership- quality & taste has been improved a lot. We tried Tandoori ( baked )Fish , matar paneer , daal with naan. & soft gulab jamun for our sweet tooth. Everything was amazing. Fish was smoky, daal & matar paneer were packed with flavors & naan was perfectly cooked. It was not super busy, so their service was pretty quick & staff was very friendly.. However they can improve the ambience of the place.I will surely recommend this place to everyone. read more

We ordered the Samosa Chat as an appetizer. For the Main Course we ordered the Chicken Dhansak, Lamb Vindaloo, with the Chicken Dhanbury Rice and Garlic Naan Bread. Everything Medium Spice. To start the Samosa Chat was excellent the crispiness with the Chutney sauce and Chick Peas was well blend. For both the Chicken Dhansak and Lamb Vindaloo, the meat was tender and mix of flavors. We also like the rice. We will definitely will try the Buffet on Saturday, to try different dishes, so we know what to order next time! My wife and I spontaneously stumbled upon this hidden gem in Tracy and we were not disappointed!!!! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Kamal Paaji recommended some new dishes from the menu and we were pleased to see new recipes being introduced rather than the same old ones found in all Indian restaurants. The mango lassi was super yummy and nothing like we tasted before. Kamal Paaji took great care of us and kept on coming to our table to make sure the food was good and that we were taken care of. My husband and I have been here twice now and the food is beyond delicious. Everything we have tried is so flavorful. I will say that there food is pretty spicy but so worth it. And they have the best mango passé I have ever had. Also on a side note, the service is amazing. The server will talk you through any dish you are thinking about and will give you suggestions on what to order since their menu is very large. We will be back again soon. read more

We went for Lunch on 8/30/23 . It was the most horrible food, horrible service. Naan was burnt . We have been going there since they opened, quality has extremely gone down . We had sent some friends there, no body like it at all. Will never go back there and will never recommend this place to anyone.
