We took possession of a property with a tank that had an All State sticker…read more I called, left messages, and also sent emails to find out more about the tank. They never responded to any of the calls or online requests. I called our realtor and was told that the tank was owned by the previous property owners. So I called around and had another company fill the tank. 5 months later, I got a call (not sure how they found my phone number) from All State claiming the tank was rented, and I need to pay for another inspection fee, and I wasn't allowed to fill the tank. I refused to do anything until I saw some proof that the tank was not owned, and I argued that I should not have to pay for another inspection fee, especially since most companies don't charge an inspection fee, and the tank was inspected twice within the past few months. Within minutes of the phone call, they sent someone back out and shut off our gas when we weren't home!!!! I called - no answer. I called their emergency number... no answer (comical). They called me back, were super rude and demanded that I empty the tank right away, and they will have it removed the next day. Long story short, I had another provider switch out the tank to one of theirs the next day, and I want nothing to do with this company. I can't believe they left us without gas, hot water, or cook top for two days!! So unprofessional, so rude, and terrible at returning calls. The most interesting thing is that at no time did any of them try to de-escalate the situation or offer any solutions. Just hostile, rude, and unhelpful. So many better options out there.

I have spoken to as many as 5+ reps at the company confirming our equipment as been returned, and saying either the account is closed, or they will close our account. We are still being charged a monthly fee, no one will send me a confirmation email after telling me they will. When I talk to the rep there is a momentary pause in the billing, but it starts again in a month or so. Each rep I speak with is not employed the next time I call. No one returns an email. Tried to report to the BBB but of course they are not accredited. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT do business with them.

This is my experience with Amerigas…read more I've been with company for at least 20 years. The customer service was wonderful. Now you can't get a real person. At this point, we are going to change company's. Oh, they were able to bill me for the tank. I have been trying to get a hold of somebody on the phone to discuss this. Wait time between 75 minutes to over hour in 114 minutes and then you're hung up on, that is completely unacceptable. And this has been going on for over a year. My tank has been scheduled for an inspection for well over a year. I can't schedule a propane delivery until I have a tank inspection. I can't get a tank inspection because nobody will come out here and check my tank. I'm not sure why your company has such a long wait time and then hangs up on you. Also, I don't understand why they can't do their job. I don't know why you outsourced the phone calls. You need to order, hire, and hire more people to answer your phones. This is ridiculous. I'm about ready to come down to the actual office and see what the heck is going on. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a car. Can you please let me know what's going on, why I can't get a tank inspection, and I can't get propane? I'd love to hear back from you.

It is also posted, no vehicles over 10000 pounds, yet they violate that as well causing damage to the road, drainage, and owner side water lines. When I called to complain, they kept disconnecting me apparently because I was not a current customer, nor interested in becoming one. Horrible company now that Ferrell Gas has taken over. I called on a Thursday , requesting delivery because someone left the jacuzzi on and my propane was between 5 and 10%. Heard nothing the following day or all week end(which I didn't really expect) . I called again bright and early Monday, the representative telling me she needed to hear back form the scheduler and would call me soon. At 4:45, I still had heard nothing, made another call, spoke to yet another rep and was told that the scheduler had neither posted or responded to the calls they had put in. I realize that it was our fault we ran out, but this is our source for heat, cooking, clothes drying etc. We've been at about 8% for days and no one has the courtesy to even respond to the customer service calls??? Seriously bad form. It would have been nice if I was even allowed to put in for an "emergency" fill but , no one would even answer the cust reps. inquiries. I feel sorry for them because they have to deal with the public. The scheduler either needs help or maybe another job.
