I'm a disabled veteran living in Warner springs California. For those of you who don't know, that's far Northeast San Diego county. We folks with disabilities depend on generators out here when the power company shuts down the grid during high winds, and high fire risk situations. Our lives literally depend on reliable electricity in some cases. We were two and a half days into a blackout that began on December 9th and I noticed that my generator's propane tank was running low and there was no way that it would last through the blackout. Without power my CPAP machine would be useless, making it very risky for me to sleep. It was after hours when I called Allstate propane. I had to leave a message, but within a half an hour I received a call back from Ben, a driver / technician, and he assured me that everything was going to be okay. Within an hour he showed up and delivered more propane to carry me through to the end of the blackout. Thank you Ben! You are awesome. I can't express my gratitude and satisfaction enough, and I wanted to share my experience with the public, especially if you are trying to decide which company to go with for your propane needs. Go with Allstate. You'll be glad you did. read more

All State Propane - Happy holidays everyone! - Propane Near Me - Julian, California

They like to talk on the phone so you have no record to refer back too. Bought 2 new tanks. They delivered 2 old tanks they claimed had been refurbished but the gauges and valves tell a different story. The word refurbished was never mentioned on the phone. One tank was leaking - they said it was fine when they left. Apparently they think me, the homeowner, was going to get creative with a full 500 gallon tank. Told me to waste the $1,400 of gas and call them when it was empty. Ohh. They took my 2 old tanks without permission. Nice read more

Harassed an 88 and 78 year old saying SDG&E called them saying our tank isn't in a safe area and needs to be moved and they won't fill the tank until it's moved (it was at 10%), which is a lie because we called SDG&E and said there is no way for them to even know who we use for propane 1, and two that's illegal and a confidentiality breach they would always contact the customer first. Then the lady said they will report us to SDG&E and they'll send us a letter saying to move it or we'll be fined and owe money. That was two months ago and we NEVER received a letter and SDG&E said they never sent a letter and don't even have that convo on record. The lady Jessica or whatever also said there's no record she can provide us with her "reporting" us after lying about SDG&E "contacting THEM". The lady is always rude to my grandparents and I had to talk law to her for her to stop harassing them saying under SDG&E subsection they legally will pay for us to move the tank if it is in an unsafe area and they would have sent a letter plus they don't even handle propane like that, and then Jessica says the Allstate Company will fine us for not moving the tank. Like no. SDG&E said what they are saying is illegal and they have no authority to make us move the tank and they have no power to fine us, only SDG&E can. Now we have had no propane for two weeks, they're refusing to service us or fill the tank. 88 and 78 and they refuse to help them with moving the tank to where THEY WANT IT, NOT where it's legally required to be, because again we never received a letter! How can they move the tank themselves??? Yall are a JOKE. read more

We switched to Allstate a year ago. Great service, friendly, efficient, timely. Our previous propane supplier was bought up by a national company and had become really unpleasant to deal with. It's such a pleasure, and a relief, to have found Allstate. Thank you so much. read more

Allstate Propane has been an amazing company with incredible delivery drivers and customer service reps since we first started using them back in 2014! Their office staff is always so polite and wonderful, it feels like you're talking with family. Today I had the amazing privilege of meeting one of their delivery drivers named Cuco. He was so informative and patient and answered ALL of my many questions! I seriously have never experienced this type of service from a company before. Allstate Propane is truly a top notch company who really cares about their customers, which in this day and age, is practically unheard of. I highly recommend them! 10/out 10 STARS all across the board! So very THANKFUL for this company!!! read more

All State is a life saver in our area of North East San Diego County! I've never worked with a propane company that is so over the top accommodating and kind to their customers. Their billing department (Dominique) is so nice and so helpful even if you forget to call in your payment. I'm a busy person with life and work and propane is low on the priority list until I run out because I haven't checked it in a while. They have squeezed me in, made short notice trips, helped with suspected leaks and just bent over backwards for my family. I could not be more happy with them... worth the switch. read more

We have been using All State Propane since 2015. We continue to be very happy with the service. The drivers are dependable and courteous. All state propane cost more than Kamps and charges to inspect the lines for service. They also charged me again to reinspect when my tank went empty. Kamas will do the inspection free of charge. All state had no interest in keep me as a customer, so I had no interest in remaining a customer. Save your self some money and frustration, call Kamps. read more

So get this: we just bought a house from someone who thought paying their bills wasn't a priority. And that includes, like the garbage, the gardener, and whoever else he hasn't paid, the propane! But did I know the bill hadn't been paid? Well if you ask All State Propane, they "don't understand how you could not have received the notice." Well, let's see. We closed escrow on Nov. 7, two days after All State posted their 48hr shut off notice the door. And we didn't get keys until the 8th. By that time, there was no notice on the door. Somehow, it grew legs, jumped off the door handle, and walked away. But, supposedly, they put more notices on our door, after that date, all of which grew legs and disappeared as well. But guess what! It doesn't matter that we didn't get the notice, cause they came and disconnected our propane anyway! Fantastic! Listen up! Cause the story only gets better! So after calling All State and asking who's great idea it was to disconnect our source of heat without warning (Well, for us), we were told the bill was past due. Now here comes the twist. At first I was told I wasn't responsible for the previous owner's bill. But then, I was asked to pay it, although I had the "right" (what a fucking joke) to decline. So, naturally, I declined. Cause moving is expensive, and we've had a lot of unexpected things to pay for. So of course, if you give me the option, I'll take it! But ohhh no! A few hours after that phone call, I get another one. And I didn't catch the beggar's name, but she proceeded to lecture me on how completely reasonable it was to ask me to pay the previous owner's bill, because they "shouldn't have to give you free gas." Guess what lady, I shouldn't be forced to pay for a product I didn't order, either. Especially when I know I can get it for less than $2.59 a gallon. I just wonder, does that border extortion? "Pay us, at our price, or no heat." Kinda sounds like it. But who knows. Maybe if they had cut me a deal and said, "You know, it is kinda lame that you have to pay the previous owner's bill, we'll take X amount off per gallon for you." But nah, they wanted their fuckin money. It was more important to collect than possibly earn a new loyal customer. So fuck' em. read more

It's hard to find a good local propane company these days - this is an excellent one. I've used many propane suppliers at home & for work & All State is at the top of the list. This is my first time working with a propane company. What I love about these guys is they are very responsive and they simply take care of my propane needs in a way where I don't have to even think about it anymore. Extremely pleased with the speed and quality of service. I called on a Tuesday for a fill up and they came on Friday. My old company took weeks to get a delivery. I had never had a propane tank until recently when I purchased a home. The previous owner highly recommended them, and they were HORRIBLE. I regret staying in with them. I had a supposed propane leak which I was charged upward of $1000 and no leak. Also the customer service was the worst part(horrible)! I talked to some gal and it seemed like she was in a bad mood. WOULD not recommend and I am switching and telling all my friends about them! read more
