We took possession of a property with a tank that had an All State sticker…read more I called, left messages, and also sent emails to find out more about the tank. They never responded to any of the calls or online requests. I called our realtor and was told that the tank was owned by the previous property owners. So I called around and had another company fill the tank. 5 months later, I got a call (not sure how they found my phone number) from All State claiming the tank was rented, and I need to pay for another inspection fee, and I wasn't allowed to fill the tank. I refused to do anything until I saw some proof that the tank was not owned, and I argued that I should not have to pay for another inspection fee, especially since most companies don't charge an inspection fee, and the tank was inspected twice within the past few months. Within minutes of the phone call, they sent someone back out and shut off our gas when we weren't home!!!! I called - no answer. I called their emergency number... no answer (comical). They called me back, were super rude and demanded that I empty the tank right away, and they will have it removed the next day. Long story short, I had another provider switch out the tank to one of theirs the next day, and I want nothing to do with this company. I can't believe they left us without gas, hot water, or cook top for two days!! So unprofessional, so rude, and terrible at returning calls. The most interesting thing is that at no time did any of them try to de-escalate the situation or offer any solutions. Just hostile, rude, and unhelpful. So many better options out there.

Last summer I got the list of demands from my home insurance that I needed to comply with if I…read morewanted to keep my insurance. Of course I wanted to keep my insurance as no one is writing new insurance in my area. One demand was to cut down the trees over my propane tank, and they admitted it would be okay to move the tank to a location that did not have a tree overhead and was in a clearing. Dave was helpful explaining in a fire the ground heats up and causes the tank to heat and blow and if a tree was over it, the tree would be on fire. AC Propane drove clear around the desert to come up to my home because the direct road was still being repaired from a major wash out. Their charge was more than fair and they worked around my urgency to meet the insurance demand deadline and moved my tank to my open area location. Their price per gallon may not be the rock bottom, but their service has been excellent for me. I only fill once a year and when I call for a fill, they fill it quickly. They are happy to explain the propane market when I ask an intelligent question.

So we purchased our home 11 years ago and in our escrow documents, it states that we own the Tank…read more We have always called various propane companies to get the best rate to have them fill our tank. I called AC propane out because they gave me the best rate. When they came out, he ran my card for almost 1 dollar more a gallon than I had been quoted. I did not catch it until later. After he ran my card he told me they own the Tank. I chuckled because this is actually the second propane company that has told me the same thing. I asked where his paperwork is to prove it and he said it's in the office. Later that weekend, I realized while he was here, he put a lock on my tank. I have requested the paperwork multiple times from AC propane to prove that they own the Tank. I still have yet to receive that. In the meantime, I spoke with the owner Dave and he had told me that since I have the escrow paperwork proving I own the Tank he would not need to go through storage to grab his paperwork And that he would be out to remove the lock. After two no-shows, I called and ended up speaking to his wife who gave me a completely different story. I had told Dave when he comes out to remove the lock. I am happy to provide the escrow paperwork, but I am reluctant to initiate the paper trail as the burden should be on AC propane to prove they own my tank. Also, based on the Yelp reviews, I am reluctant to send them anything that has my information on it. When I mention that to Dave's wife, she told me she does not care about Yelp reviews because it's only people that are upset that post things. So based on their track history with their reviews, apparently they upset quite a lot of people. I still have yet to receive any documentation or proof that they own the Tank. This is the most shady propane company ever! What is funny is if they really did own the tank they expect me to then opt to sign a contract with them. Please stay far away from them and if they claim they own your tank, watch to make sure they do not put a lock on it when they are out to fill it.

I called & left message on Sunday evening, and by Monday morning (on a Holiday no less), Harry called me and told me they'd be out the very next day to refill my tank (which was Tuesday). However, nobody showed and I was a little concerned, so I called & left a message on Tuesday evening and first thing Wednesday morning, Harry called to apologize and also let me know that our RV park had given him the wrong space number (which I confirmed as true, so it was not their fault - it was my own RV park who made the mistake). Harry was gracious enough to schedule me for a special delivery (on a Wednesday), as they normally only service my park on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sure enough, James arrived with his propane truck & took care of business, and the price of the fuel was exactly the amount I expected. No problems, no hassles, and these gentleman are both professional and extremely nice individuals, so it was a 'win-win' with DVP. THANK YOU Harry & James! Gary McGinn Golden Village Palms RV Resort

Instead I've dealt with erroneous information, late notice letters, site manager not returning any of my calls, and even a prelien notice although my form of payment was on file for autopay (they had systems issues). This all took place in less than a month. I have many options of storage in the area. Price was not a factor but brand trust and servwas. I have since moved out and would never choose or recommend U-Haul for storage to anyone! When Carolina, the site manager at the location on Jefferson Avenue in Murrieta Ca, finally bothered herself to get on a call with me, she showed no empathy for the mistakes made. I asked her to ensure a letter in writing is mailed that the pre-lien notice was sent in error and my account is up to date. All I got was a billing statement with a zero balance. If your system can bother me with erroneous pre lien notices you can bother yourself with sending me the same written notice it's an error and is resolved. I had hoped to get that in writing since I wasted more of my time writing a review on their business site. Nope! I moved out the same day that I finally got to speak with Carolina primarily for her lack of care or concern. If she would have apologized and assured me that I would have no further troubles with their system not charging my autopay, I might have given them a chance. However, she did not even bother to care when I mentioned I would most likely move out due to all the issues in less than 3 weeks. I moved out same day and still was not able to get any letter of apology or statement that my account was paid in full, moved out, and no lien was placed- even though I was told their EA-- whatever that is- would email me. Throughout this ordeal the staff was kind, courteous and showed more concern than the site manager- it appears they're used to making up for system, corporate, and management issues. This review, and google review were my next options and more importantly word of mouth! To help an interested party be aware of getting in contract with U-Haul for storage on Jefferson. You lost a great customer. And I really doubt you care since that's all I've gotten since I moved in- and out; lack of concern, no reliability & can't be trusted system. No thanks!
