FREEEEEEEEEDOM! I felt like William Wallace in Braveheart when I finally extricated myself from the corporate shill that is Suburban Propane. They charged outrageous prices, upwards of $4.50/gal in the summer and sometimes $8.00/gal in the winter. Moreover, they refused to upgrade their technology. Where others had smart gauges to remotely track propane levels, Suburban adamantly remained in the middle of useless and inane. Enter Josh Price and Propane West Coast. From the beginning, the experience was just different. Real people, decent response times and follow ups, reasonable prices, and a working monitor! I'm only up in the residence requiring this once a month, and Josh was more than happy to accommodate my schedule. The transfer was simple, and took about 30 minutes. The day that I switched, Suburban was $4.43/gal while West Coast was $3.20. I saved $240 on the very first fill-up. They would not show up for weeks, leaving us with no propane. First, PWC is by far the best priced propane company. Professional, responsive, great prices and show up when they say they will. Knowledgeable and friendly team from intake, tank delivery, and fill up. On day of the tank swap they were unable to get the propane out of the old corroded tank through no fault of their own. They were able to adjust their schedule to have it filled the next day so we would have heat for the snow that was expected that weekend.
