Toasted Ravioli Deluxe Caesar Salad
Tracy L.

To-Go Order Easy ordering process and was ready for pick up when I arrived. Toasted ravioli was delicious, especially with the meat sauce. It was nicely fried and the meat sauce gave it extra flavor. The pizza was addicting. It's cut up into squares and I found myself continuously grabbing another square.

I hadn't had Imo's in person for years, but we regularly have it shipped to our home in Oregon. So, I decided while in town visiting I better stop in to get some made fresh...plus I always loved their house dressing. They weren't too busy on a Saturday night so the wait wasn't long. We ordered two pizzas and two salads. It was as I remembered it...tasty and cooked to perfection. It definitely tastes a little better in shop, but I'll continue having some sent westward. The place could definitely use a facelift and could've been a tad tidier, but it's in a great location...and simply yummy, crispy, thin crust pizza.

Imo's Pizza is THE pizza parlor in St. Louis. Don't go here if you're wanting to fill up on dough and sauce. This is thin and crispy pizza cut in unique squares with your choice of toppings. I like the 16" Deluxe with real strips of bacon topped with that one and only St. Louis ingredient- Provel cheese. If you put one of these pizzas in front of me, I always go for the edges- the best! If you order the Great Tastes of St. Louis, you get a nice sampling of your choice of T-Ravs, Provel Cheese balls, and Cinnimo's for dessert! Imo's also has sandwiches, salads, drinks, etc. to round out your dinner. It's great!

Toasted Raviolis

IMO's Pizza is good and deserves 4 stars. The toasted Ravs(Ravioli) we delicious and I'll add some pictures in the review. The pizza was good and had a nice thin crust with a special cheese called Provel which is provolone + cheddar + swiss. Overall it was pretty good!

"Sometimes you want to go / Where everybody knows your name" My aunt and uncle come in so often that when he and I showed up to get dinner to-go, the manager greeted him by name and asked which type of beer he'd like while waiting for the pizza to bake. Delicious, thin-crust pizza is great and even more fun is that it's cut into squares rather than the standard radial slices. The staff are quick and friendly. The fried ravioli were good, but nothing special. The Imo's St. Louis Special pizza, however, was outstanding, and I ate far more than my share. TRIVIA: This location is the 2nd-oldest Imo's, and it's also the only one to still offer the Italian vinaigrette dressing on its salad bar.

Veggie pizza

My family and I came here to experience St Louis-style pizza upon the recommendation of our Uber driver and a lot of local websites online. We ordered the veggie pizza and toasted ravioli. The crust is very thin and tastes like crackers. Imo's uses a combination of Swiss, provolone and white cheddar instead of mozzarella and this combination makes the pizza absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend any pizza here. The toasted ravioli, also a local favorite, tasted like fried breadcrumbs on the outside and it has gooey spiced beef on the inside. Would definitely recommend this as well! The garlic bread is a bit too salty though so you might want to pass on that. All in all, this a great place to have food!

Online ordering is messed up. Asked for black olives in place or green peppers. Didn't happen.

It arrived pretty close to on time (they gave me a link to an app and told me the delivery time), pizza was still steaming and dessert was still warm. I ordered a hand tossed cheese pizza with ham. It was very good, not overcooked, not undercooked and definitely not burned which in the past 3-4 years more than half of my delivered pizzas showed up with burnt crust or cheese. The cinnamon sticks were very good, but I don't see how one could mess them up, cook the dough, cover with cinnamon sugar and pour on icing. The price was pretty much as expected, so many delivery places have a service charge, a delivery charge, and ask for a tip. Honestly I can't figure out how the money is divided up, eating in I tip the server and they give the bus team something, the bar tender, and the kitchen staff do they get anything? In delivery the only people are the driver, the person that boxes the order, and the kitchen staff. So if the service charge stays in house am I paying $1.50 to put the pizza in a box? The delivery fee is stand alone so who gets the tip? I asked this of one of the many pizza apps and they never did flat out tell me how the money works. Anyway, the pizza was timely, hot, good sauce and meat, not cut into squares (haha an StL thing) and the dessert was very good. Again I had the hand tossed, not the thin crust. They used a delivery service to have it dropped off.

This shop is menace to my savings account and I'm completely obsessed. First off, the coffee bar is legit. They aren't messing around with burnt beans here--you get actual, high-quality brew with enough options to satisfy even the most insufferable coffee snob (you know who you are). And while you're standing there sipping, aggressively trying to justify buying your third iced vanilla latte of the week, you can casually browse a treasure trove of vintage finds. The best (or worst) part? The pricing actually runs the gamut. You can find everything from pocket-change trinkets to "I need to call my bank" investment pieces. Do yourself a favor and stop in. I came in looking for coffee and was in awe of all the assortments of things you could buy, and the deli, and what looked like a restaurant in the back. I will say there was a very long line but I was determined to get some coffee before window shopping. I got such a unique latte - fig balsamic latte and it was great. Not too sweet or bitter or drowning in syrup that muddies the flavor. Overall I had such a good experience and the inside looked it had so many things Id want to try ill be back again. I want more!

Chicken spedini was juicy with wonderful flavor. Chicken was served over mashed potatoes and with 3 spears of asparagus. The one thing I didn't like was the diced onion and tomato on top. Fortunately there wasn't too much of it and I could push it off to the side. We dined with friends who had a mixed experience. One loved their veal parmigiana and the other said his chicken pasta was just okay. They have an extensive wine list by the bottle but still a nice selection of wines by the glass too. And some delicious cocktails. They house make the basil lemonade! However if you like a traditional old fashioned cocktail don't order that here as they don't really use traditional ingredients. Our service was good - in fact our food came out so fast that we were done dining in a little over an hour. I can't say I felt rushed though.

We had 6pm reservations and were seated on time but people without reservations faced a 2 hour wait. Make reservations! Upon entering, there is a hostess stand and small bar with seating extending to the back of the building. We had the first table so I can't comment on the full size. My son ordered a Bloody Mary and I had a Pinot Noir while we looked at menu. Bloody Mary was very good and the wine was pleasant. We started with Garlic Bread with Cheese. It was the only menu item I would not order again. Flavors did not come together. I ate my fair share so it was good. Just not great. We then shared a cheese pizza with provel. Elite crust and sauce! The crust had an amazing char and the sauce was deliciously nuanced. The cheese was very good, but most definitely not the star of the pie. Pasta Pomodoro was wonderful. House made pasta was excellent and the sauce was a perfect accompaniment. (Anthonino's really does sauces well!) I finished with tiramisu and I am so glad I did! Did I need it? No. Did I want it? Heck yeah! I think I will be wanting it every day for a long time to come! All of the staff were welcoming and friendly, while remaining efficient. Nice group of people.
