My favorite type of pizza, St. Louis style, from my favorite place to get it, Imo's pizza, that I go to every time I visit St. Louis which isn't very often. Wish I could get this back home in Hawaii. Ordered their combo, a salad, deep fried mushrooms, and a beer for our group of four and it's still as good as I remember. Pizza came out hot and melted cheese. Mushroom cook well, not burnt or falling apart. Salad was surprisingly good for a simple side salad. Price seemed ok as well. Just bummed I couldn't buy a Imo's pizza logo'd glass to take home. Wired they have them but unable to sell me one. Service was just ok as well. It's a place your order and come back to pick it up. Fill your own soda as well. No table service which would have been nice. Will I come back, yes for the food and put up with the lack of service. read more

This is a favorite pizza chain of some good friends in Missouri. It seems no matter where they live, the good quality, taste and great service is always the same from the local Imo's franchise! We ordered a bunch of pizzas for the group and picked them up. All were ready on time and I felt like I was being treated like a long time customer! The pizza's are St. Louis Style pizza. For those, like me, that don't know the difference: The St. Louis Style pizza is a very thin cracker-like crust made without yeast, commonly uses Provel processed cheese, and pizza is cut into squares or rectangles instead of wedges. Being it is stiffer crust, it allows more toppings to be piled upon. (I'm not huge fan, but they are good!) If your looking for pasta keep looking, this baked cannoli , way over cooked, tasted like crap , did not even come close to the pic . You can choose what you want, and the staff will confirm the choices you want on the pizza(s). They also have excellent side choices ranging from salad to hot wings. I'm hoping that Imo's pizza is the bomb that I hear it is. Small problem with a timed delivery being almost 45 minutes early. I've refused the delivery as we have guests coming to share the meal with us. I felt badly for the poor delivery guy because he's trapped in the middle. I gave him a tip anyway. The manager seemed to have a bit of an issue with me not accepting the delivery and he didn't seem to want to remake the order, even seeming to suggest that they'd take it back to the shop and let it sit there until some time had passed and then would just re-deliver the same order to us. I truly hope that won't be the case and I hope that they will be cool and re-make the order and not spit on our food. I also hold out hope that Imo's is as good as everyone says. Follow up review coming. They delivered fresh piping hot pizzas and toasted raviolis. It was amazingly tasty. Faith restored!!!! read more

I understand that times are trying right now due to the pandemic which is why Iwanted to support local businesses. I ordered a lunch special which was supposed to include an 8-in pizza half Caesar salad and a Sprite I noticed that there is an option to add provel bites and was very excited. I did find it strange that it didn't add an additional fee but figured maybe it was included due to the virus to entice sales. However I was very disappointed to find out AFTER my food was delivered that it was not there even though it was stated on the receipt. Now before my delivery I was notified that the delivery driver forgot my Sprite and the manager was going to bring it out to me I told him not to worry about it as I only got the Sprite because it was included. The reason why I'm giving three stars is that would have been the perfect opportunity to tell me that there was a computer glitch and that I was not getting the provel bites however he said nothing. When the food arrived and I noticed I had no provel bites I called the store and spoke to the same person. He informed me that it was glitch and he would have to charge me for them, when I asked why I wasn't told about it when he originally called he just said sorry they are trying to work it out and if I want them I have to pay for them. I understand it was an accident but what I'm upset about is I wasn't given the common courtesy as a phone call. The only reason why I'm giving it three stars is because I understand there's a lot going on right now, the delivery was very fast, and as always the pizza was delicious. But please while businesses are struggling right now try to remember customer service should always be number one. read more

*sigh* I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to think really hard about what I was going to say. One of the biggest things I was anticipating about coming down to MO was being able to eat St. Louis style pizza. I live in the center of deep dish pizza universe, and I missed my Imo's and Cecil Whitakers like crazy and thought about it for weeks before my arrival. Sadly, I think Imo's is like that ex-boyfriend who you have fond memories of, maybe drunk dial once in a while, but when you hook up you're like... "oh... Now I remember why we broke up." And then never call him again. I came here with my dad and stepmom for dinner. This isn't my favorite Imo's, but it's the closest one to their house and I wasn't about to look like a psycho and ask them to drive 30 miles to my favorite Imo's. When we walked in it was quite busy. The thing about Imo's is that you order at the counter and then pick your own table - for a moment I worried we wouldn't even get a table, but luckily a couple parties opened up while we waited in line to place our order. Orders placed and table secured, I went to get a drink. As I filled my glass, soda was going everywhere. At first I thought, wtf? Turns out my glass had a hole in the bottom of it. Soda was all over the floor, making a wet sticky mess. I grabbed the manager, but it still took them a few minutes to mop it up. Meanwhile, people tracked through it making an even bigger mess. Awesome. My parents had ordered garlic cheese bread as an appetizer. It was pathetic. A piece of french bread with a slice of melted cheese on top. It had no flavor. It was not good. The pizza came out... It wasn't what I remembered. Had the pizza changed since the last time I had it? There's no way they'd mess with a good thing, right? The yummy provel cheese tasted just like I remember... but everything else fell short. The crust was dry and the sauce wasn't as wonderful as I remembered. It was a little overcooked, but not enough to where it should have changed it that much. I left here feeling very underwhelmed. To be fair, I know that all Imo's are different so for now I'm going to say it's just this location. Next time I am in town and want my Imo's fix, so help me god I will drive however far it takes to get a decent taste of St. Louis tradition. read more

Called at 10:30 for a 11:45 delivery was told it would not be problem it would be here. We go to lunch at 12:05 for a1/2 hour. Delivery came at 12:25 so 10 minutes to sort and eat. Order was over 90.00 pre paid no cash. When I called at 12:05 it was just leaving the store supposedly, we called back and they lied about it leaving the store at 12:05 it left at 12:15 when we called back. read more

The pizza here is pretty nasty. The crust is a paper thin. Toppings are okay but the rest of it forget it.

Try the toasted ravioli, it is super! Had a deluxe pizza that was made very quickly and tasted great. Also recommend the cookies!

I love Imos. The one here in washington is great. Consistent flavor and service. I would of done 5 stars but i always feel like i pay to much at imos for pizza. Another thing i'd like to see is a lunch buffet. Otherwise i cant say enough about the imos in Washington. read more

I really love the pizza, but the ordering experience could be better. First of all it was like pulling teeth to get the website figured out. When I click for my town's imos, I don't get anything but a google map. If I wanted a map, I would go to google and type in the info. I'm not looking for the address of it, I am looking to see what specials that store has to offer. I would like to see prices, and be able to order online. This saves me from calling there and getting prices. Its just so much easier to order food online, you can go through and change stuff, pick out what you want, change your mind and pick something else. It's crazy what a hassle it is. The restaurant needs to put some work into their online ordering process. read more
