I back again for more Imos. It's small and cozy. It has ben remodeled. Customer service was on point. Even though it was about to close they made me feel welcomed. I didn't realize it was about to close. I thought they were open later. The young man was told to lock the door. He let us know that he was locking the door, but not to worry. It will still open front the inside. He asked if we were getting something to drink. Then he continued to clean up as he prepared for closing. I got the 2 topping special. I chose hamburger and mushrooms. I got the garlic creamy Italian sauce instead of the red sauce. It is so good. I will say it's next level. I also had a salad and turkey sandwich. The parking is out front. It has limited parking. I believe it is adequate for tge location. They even have a drive up window. read more

Ordered our pizza and it took an hour for delivery which we expected on a Friday. Tracking our delivery on the app and it says delivered, First mistake so I give the store a call and they say we don't know what happened to it. So they call the delivery driver and come back to me and say they are going to remake our order and it'll be another hour before we get it. I said, guess I have no choice and they hang up. Lo and behold the delivery driver pulls up with no explanation and no apology. Next time I guess I'll try the Bridgeton store. The St Ann store has gone down hill and horrible. read more

Flew into St Louis and this is the closest Imo's to the airport. Imo's is true st Louis style pizza and like most chains all franchises are not created equal. That being said It's in sketchy area (as is the neighborhood the airport is located) but the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We were eating inside and decided on the st Louis special which has a large 2 topping pizza, baked ravioli, Cinnimon rolls and cheese bited. Honestly only reason this location doesn't let you see the workers cause of that wall is so they don't have to talk to you. Waited 15 mins inside store for someone to come around from back even tho I knew they could see me from the window. Go some place else that actually cares about costumer service. I'm not sure how this place has managed a 3 star average to begin with. We flew in tonight and are staying at the pear tree inn. With there being no food places open around here, pizza was our only option. I mean, you can't really mess up pizza.. can you? It took 1.5 hours for the large pizza & salad to get here. Pizza was awful cold, looked gross and tasted awful. The salad didn't even come with a fork.. were in a hotel.. obviously i can't just go to my kitchen and grab a fork. I've been wanting to try St. Louis style pizza for a while now and it's actually not bad. I called it in and it was ready within 15 minutes. The guys were here were very professional and kind. It's a thin crust pizza that's cut in squares, similar to Chicago style tavern pizza. Yes Chicago has two pizzas styles...not just deep dish. I ordered a large with sausage. It had a decent amount of sausage and covered in cheese. Provel cheese to be exact. It does have a much different taste than Mozzarella, but it was still very tasty. Excuse my biased review, but being from Chicago, we know good and we know bad pizza. Imo's is not bad pizza, but its not good either, let's say its different. First, they do not use mozzarella cheese, they use Provel cheese, which is cheddar, Swiss, and provolone cheeses. When you first bite into the cracker like crust, you taste cheddar and you think to yourself hmmm, what type of cheese is that? Again not bad, different, especially if you're use to mozzarella cheese. The crust is wonderful, very crunchy. I also had some cinnamon bites, which were wonderful, I could have gotten 2 orders of those. I am willing to get this pizza again, but I won't break my neck to get it. Day trip from Las Vegas for a quick job at a casino. First time in St Louis, so asked someone at the casino, "I have never been here before, what would you recommend for a lunch before I catch my fight." They suggested I try Imo's, St. Louis style pizza. OK, lets give it a shot. I stopped at one, which was just a mile away from the casino, but it was takeout only, I want to sit down and enjoy my lunch before going to the airport. Soo, the young lady at this location, super nice, helped me find a location that had dine in. The location happened to be just a mile or so from the airport, PERFECT!! When I arrived a lady took my order and I took a seat at one of the booths. The thin crust style pizza came out after about 15 min. Topped with mushrooms, extra cheese, pepperoncini's, and jalapeno's, the flatbread style pizza was good, nothing amazing but good. I'm not a french fry person but had a side of them since it was part of a 8" inch pizza special. Cheesy, I love cheese but after cooling down a little they were no longer appetizing but again, I'm not a french fry type of guy. BEER! you say, well you'r S.O.L. they don't have alcohol here. This might hold true for the chain in general. Call me crazy, but I like to have beer with my pizza. All in all the service was great, friendly and polite staff. So I finally got a chance to try out St. Louis famous #1 pizza place Imos. Don't get this pizza. It has a unique taste for sure but not in a traditional pizza taste. The pizza sauce is.... not good. That's 50% of the pizza to me. It taste like they put some Alfredo sauce on it. I think that's what gives it its unique flavor. I ordered delivery. I told a person that I was gonna try Imos for the first time and his answers me "Imos is nasty!" He recommended a better pizza place that I wish I would have taken his advice. So I thought maybe the wings will be good. Nope!!!! I ordered bbq wings. Wings were so dry they were almost stale. And I got no dipping sauce! I wasn't asked if I wanted dipping sauce. Love IMO'S but this place is the absolute worst. They claim to be open till 1am. No one will answer the phone. Recording directs you to order on line. They shut that down at 12:05am. Every time I've had pizza delivered when I can order it arrives cold and anyone who's had provell cheese knows it like rubber when at room temp. I was in town, Imo's invented it, I had to try it before leaving. In fact I had to go with the St. Louis Style Pizza and Fried Ravioli. Placed an All Meat order to go and brought it back to the motel. Pizza was alright and the fried ravioli was decent but the only fried ravioli I have had so there was nothing to compare to. The Pizza here was decent. It will do in a crunch but I think there are many more better examples of St Louis Style. read more

My first Imo's pizza was this past summer in July near the central west end area. It was delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the crust was exactly what it should be (St. Louis style), and of course, the pizza was cut into squares. Everything was exactly as expected! In contrast, this location is terrible. The ingredients are not fresh. The cheese looked abnormally manufactured and quite orange. I ordered pepperoni, but there were so few pepperoni slices that I thought I'd made a mistake and ordered cheese pizza. I also ordered the lunch special (~$8), and the salad looked so bad I didn't eat it. It was your typical, cheap, iceberg lettuce salad. Even the grocery store sells a better salad! I came to this location because it's not far from the car rental locations, about 8min. My 10" pizza and salad took less than 10 minutes, but that's the only good thing. I was excited to try the famous Imo's Pizza, but was very underwhelmed after sinking my teeth into my first ever bite of this legendary St Louis style pie. I called in a carry out order for a large sausage and extra cheese pizza. The person on the phone was pleasant, no issues there. It wasn't until I returned to the hotel to enjoy this pie with my family that I noticed the orange sections in the cheese. Assuming it was just from the heat lamps or something, I tried it with great anticipation. But the taste was very unexpected. This location is a pickup store, they have a few benches and tables but I wouldn't eat here. That said I stopped by to have some of that famous St. Louis pizza they all rave about. Ordered a large sausage, pepperoni and mushroom pizza, which set me back about 20 bucks. Now the move these suckers pretty fast as my pizza was ready in 10 minutes. Took it to my hotel room and looked inside the box. First impression was that the pie was on the small side, this would be a medium any place else. Second thing I noticed that the toppings were on the skimpy side, not a whole happening. Third thing I noticed was that this pie doesn't smell like most pizzas. It kind of a funky American cheese kind of odor. Now am I going to eat it or just look at it? Well eat it of course! The crust was the pies strong point. Nice crunchy thin crust topped with a tomato sauce that is a bit on the sweet side. The topping were a bit weak, the claim to fame with the St. Louis pie is the provel cheese. The crust is different than standard pizza crust and not super flavorful but the pizza had so many toppings that it totally compensated and didn't need more flavor in the crust. I was deeply disappointed by the amount of trouble they have given me. Their credit processing company charged me for an order that I didn't place and then caused me to receive three overdrafts, totaling $181 in fees including the original fee. I have been trying for 10 days to get this fixed and I keep getting the runaround. This is an issue that needs to be solved and all I am asking is for my money to be returned, nothing free, just was is rightfully mine. The manager talked to the owner on the phone right in front of me and he was completely unconcerned about the fact that I am out all of this money.
