Fun at the Fotoflash booth!
Sabrina L.

I have come here 3 times, and I love this store. The staff is fantastic, and always helpful and friendly. The second time I came here, I was with my daughter and we were trying to win a toy from the claw machine. The woman working here was so nice and used extra tokens to try to help me win something for my daughter. Unfortunately, she doesn't have the key to the machines, so she wasn't able to reposition any of the prizes for me, but she tried many times for us. I came back this weekend with a friend, and Sean was such a pleasure to talk to. He saw the lafufu's we won at Kawaii Klaws across the street and enthusiastically chatted with us about them. We asked about the free fotoflash promo they had in the store - it was a scavenger hunt! It was such a fun activity to do together, and we got to use the photobooth for free at the end! Sean is a gem - he is funny, charismatic, friendly, and helpful. The store is great - it has a wide variety of cute things to buy and a few activities to do (DIY picture frame and a variety of photo booths with fun props). They have a great selection of labubus - even the large Zimomos! My friend and I really had a great time here. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back when I'm in the area. Thank you for a memorable experience, Sean! There is plenty of street parking nearby and they take Apple Pay/credit cards.

Another day another labubu! Sean greeted and helped is out. As always the staff is welcoming and really cool. Thank you!

Found another Labubu shop that we have now frequented and bought from for the third time.

Found this really cute shop called Imizzu Gift Shop in Alhambra, thanks to my lovely daughter. Customer service here is excellent. As soon as we walked in they greeted us and asked if we were looking for something particular. Thank you Sean! They had us spin the wheel every visit and so far have won $5 off our purchase. We have now visited Imizzu Gift Shop for the third time and have bought our Labubus here. The neat thing is that all 3 Labubu boxes we've purchased so far carry three different Labubus inside. We've already told all our family and friends about Imizzu Gift Shop and some have already stopped by to pick up some Labubus among other blind boxes. We'll be visiting again sometime next week to pick up some items and gifts for family and friends.

Date of visit: March 9, 2025 Selections: Claw machines Experience: Spotted this place while driving around Old Town Pasadena to look for parking. The place reminded me of Tokyo Lifestyle with its mini claw machines and bigger ones too as well as pins, jewelry, blind boxes, Pokemon cards, figurines, hair accessories, and more. After walking around a bit, I decided to attempt the claw machines filled with geese in pumpkins after my husband failed to get one. Eventually snagged one for him and the staff member was excited for our win. We did later find out that there were different coins for the small claw machines from the bigger claw machines after reading the signs on the coin change machine lolz I was fascinated by their soft rugs that featured the classic Gameboy designs and even one that was a Gengar.

I didn't know there was another one of these shops until I followed them on instagram. They had Labubu clothes and my girlfriend wanted to check it out. This location is slightly smaller than the Alhambra location. There are large and Chibi claw machines that require tokens, plushies, stick on nails, candles, pins, folders, rugs, many blind boxes, Labubu blindboxes, opened Labubu that you can buy, Labubu clothes, two photobooths with accessories , and other things. Some things are reasonably priced such as the pins, press on nails, and smaller plushies. The popular stuff like the larger plushies and Labubu are really expensive. They range from 50-70 dollars like most stores now. The employees were nice. No public restrooms. It's located in the middle of a busy street close to Bucas and Miniso.

Super cute shop with lots of cute trinkets and gifts, some photo booths in the back (not purikura unfortunately), pet accessories and items (from Lil Wild Pets, very cute), blind boxes, game mats, posters, candles, etc. There's also free props to use too and backdrops for pics as well. I guess there's combs and hair curler/straightener there but I, personally, wouldn't use them. Not all of the anime/Poke'mon goods here are official items and some of hilarious questionable bootleg quality, but they do have the cute Mofusand cat items. I got some cute cat items here.

To get the small things out of the way first... CONS: A little pricey on their blind boxes Now for the real review: This is one of maybe two or three shops that give you Little Tokyo vibes here in Alhambra There is sooooo much to look at and there are MULTIPLE photo booths with different styles We moved here in August and every time someone visits us we take a photo booth picture (check my refrigerator for the proof) and whenever my wife lets me drop 5 or 10 dollars on the claw machine I get such a thrill Their claw machines are hard! But fair You will eventually win at a decent ratio (I'm a claw machine connoisseur) AND they have the best claw machine prizes hands down such a thrill trying to get mofusand items over generic dolls and such from other places (also labubus and other blind boxes) all you gotta do is get lucky or play enough - it's worth it though I personally do it for the rush *******SEAN IS LUCKY******* I didn't win anything before (wife and her friends have they were lucky... I won with dedication and effort) Look him in the eyes and believe you're a winner as you shake his hand firmly as to get full transference of luck Highly recommend Had a rough day today Just getting lost in the merch and claw machines help me not myself They also have this new Naruto figurine I've never seen before with details that knock any other Naruto figurine out the park I don't think I've seen it in little Tokyo either If my wife was still letting me get them I would've Anyways... Imizzu has been a go to spot for so many different reasons and if you come to Alhambra without stopping by for at least a photo booth photo... did you really come to Alhambra?

I always stop by to browse and check out the unique gift items one can purchase here. The prices looked very reasonable for many of the items sold here. The product lines are constantly changing so it's a new experience every time.

We went today Saturday night right about closing time and played the claws machines, we was nicely greeted when entered the store by this nice gentleman, we played $20 worth and she won. Was so happy. We had a good time. Don't forget to sign up for rewards I was given free token.

Absolutely loved my experience! The lady helping me was so kind and helpful--I finally found Lanubu's for my daughter and ended up buying the whole pack! Plus, they had adorable outfits, so I grabbed a few as well. Highly recommend!

Love this store on Main St! Still unbelievable I just found out about it! You can follow them on Instagram to stay updated about what new items they have. There are toys, stickers, pins, and so many other things! I got a couple of Pokémon toys. The service was great...very friendly employee. There's a parking lot across the street to access.

Imizzu is a really cute gift shop but please BEWARE. The Sonny Angels they sell are not real!! It's extremely deceiving since the boxes look exactly like the real ones but the figures are actually fake. Please be wary when purchasing blind box figures here! I ended up paying around $22 including taxes, definitely not worth the price as they are fake and still more expensive than the original Sonny Angels. I had a good experience the first time I came but this experience I had today makes me reconsider.

Lights are on. Open sign is on but no one is there and doors are closed.

This is the third time I've come and the store is closed. Store hours need to be updated if you aren't open. I've come at different times in the day and the store should be open but isn't.

I've been to several exhibitions and have enjoyed each one and always look forward to their future exhibitions. When looking at the gallery, there are several microscopes available to look at the art pieces in detail. The gallery maximizes its art space by displaying artwork on both sides of the stairway and features artwork on the second floor as well. Nucleus is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy art or love unique reads.

Apparently Nucleus expanded and opened a second location in Portland in 2016. [Parking]: Easy and free street parking. If parking is not available on Main St, then there are plenty of public parking spots and parking plazas in downtown Alhambra. [Space]: The space is separated into a bookstore at the front with various art books and a rotating art exhibit (Wicked in March 2026) at the back. All art on display is for sale. The bookstore sells mostly art books (both original works and artwork from specific anime, games, or pop culture) as well as various original greeting cards. Tickets are not required to see the exhibit and admission is free. [Conclusion]: A neat spot to see various unique art prints and a free exhibit. Chances are if you are at Nucleus then you are also here to check out other spots in downtown Alhambra (e.g. grabbing tea drinks or visiting other miscellaneous shops).

[Parking]: There are plenty of metered parking spots and paid public parking lots, but parking can be hard to come by during busy shopping seasons. [Selection]: The shop offers greeting cards, pens, notebooks, pen, pencils, gift wraps, etc. I like the greeting card selection a lot better at Shorthand, but I didn't see too many Valentine's Day cards. The shop was a lot more colorful than Crush & Touch as Shorthand organized pens and pencils by color. They also sell really neat hand drawn Highland Park and Eagle Rock maps. The shop also sells various colors of ribbon per yard and gift wrap. Each color of ribbon has a slightly different price. I actually got a red tight weave ribbon for $1.75 per yard and the staff even gave me a slightly extra length. [Gift Wrap Service]: Customers can purchase gifts in store or bring them in from elsewhere. In general, regular (one sheet) = $8, large (two sheets) = $14, and extra large (three sheets+) = $20+. [Conclusion]: A really cute stationery shop with all the supplies for gift wrapping.
