I was impressed. I could not get my laptop complete loading to the log on screen which prompted my second visit. The harddrive was failing but they were able to recover some important data. The cloud backup had not recorded anything for the past 5 years so although I was glad I got some of that data, getting the recent data was very important to me. Although I struggled to find the recent data, they were finally able to steer me directly to it. I was SO RELIEVED. They replaced my hard drive with one with lesser capacity but still plenty large. I got all my data back and the new drive, and even though I had to follow up a couple more times to get to the data, the cost was most reasonable. I would recommend Lightning Repair highly. The screen on my child's iPad shattered on the way home from a road trip. Apparently, "it just broke on its own," according to said kid, but really, it looked like someone stepped on the iPad. Hmm, I wonder how that can happen, especially if you leave the iPad on the floor of the car like mom tells you not to do? Anyway, we called uBreakiFix on the way home, and we were able to schedule a drop off immediately. So we drove straight there and dropped off the shattered iPad on a Saturday evening. They told us it could be around 72 hours before we received it back. By Sunday evening, less than 24 hours later, the iPad was fixed and everything worked like normal. It was an amazingly quick fix on something that looked like it would take a while to deal with. We were very glad to have the iPad back (as was my child), and although it cost around $150 dollars, it was better than having to replace the entire iPad because of a severely cracked screen.
