Dr. Fisher may be an excellent surgeon, but his skill is clouded by the incompetent, money-grubbing staff at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. For that reason alone, I cannot recommend his office and here is why. My story- I booked my surgery in February 2017 and was assigned to Yisel as my patient coordinator. It was supposed to be in July 2017, but it was cancelled because I didn't get medical clearance. After my surgery was cancelled it was almost impossible to get Yisel back on the phone. I paid Eres Plastic Surgery (that was their name at the time) a deposit to hold my date. According to the cancellation policy, I was entitled to a refund. I have emailed Yisel for days and she has yet to respond. I know she is getting my emails since all of them have been sent with read receipts. I called the office and spoke with Claudia, Yisel's manager, only to be told by Claudia that I have to speak with Yisel. As of today I have not heard from Yisel or Claudia regarding my refund. They are both ignoring my calls. It is my understanding that Imagenes Plastic Surgery (again, formerly Eres Plastic Surgery) has a slew of complaints against them and that they are under investigation by the Attorney General's Office in Florida. When I spoke with a clerk at the Attorney General's Office, she explained that the state is aware of their practices, which include procedures performed by unlicensed physicians and refusing to issue a refunds according to the signed agreement. At the clerk's suggestion I went online to file a complaint against them. I have also filed a complaint with my credit card company to get my deposit refunded. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and I am thankful for the signs that led me not to get surgery at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. Here are a few things I did not know about them prior to booking my surgery: 1. Eres Plastic Surgery (their former name) had a death in March 2017 and November 2016. Both deaths were the result of poorly done bbl's performed by unlicensed plastic surgeons. 2. Prior to being called Eres Plastic Surgery they were called Encore Plastic Surgery. There are also deaths linked to Encore Plastic Surgery. Please google both names. 3. There are numerous articles that link the deaths at Encore Plastic Surgery to facility and equipment failure. Update: Nancy, the person who commented on my review, says they now have this equipment. 4. Jonathan Fisher, M.D. is the ONLY board-certified physician at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. 5. Imagenes Plastic Surgery does NOT use board-certified anesthesiologist. Instead, likely to cut cost, they use Nurse Anesthesiologist. This could explain why a woman was left brain dead following breast implants a few years ago. Verdict - Please do your research before you decide to get plastic surgery. Imagenes Plastic Surgery is filled with unlicensed physicians, possible inadequate equipment, and is under investigation for failure to refund deposits. To Nancy: In response to your comment. My review is for Jonathan Fisher. Not Anthony Fisher. I've never heard of Anthony Fisher. And Yisel and Claudia, who you seem to know, are employees of Imagenes. I am 3 weeks post op mommy makeover with Dr. Hunsaker. I had a tummytuck, breast lift with augmentation, and 2 areas of lipo. All my procedures have come out with excellent results. I did have some negative incidents with customer service. It does take arguing with the sales rep to actually get what you paid for. If your not fluent in spanish you will have communication issues with nursing staff. You will get carted out quickly after surgery. I didnt have any issues at all with recovery. So guess the negative issues with the staff was worth the discounted price I got. Even with the staff issues I still wanna give 5 stars because of my amazing results. I feel insulted after waiting over 2 hours for a consultation with Mario Reyes and him practically making fun of my situation. I came in for a liposuction consultation already knowing I had to lose some weight before surgery. He didn't make me like he was willing to help me. Like other reviews have stated this clinic is all about the quick dollar. I do not recommend this place at all unless you want to feel worse about yourself afterwards. I had my breast lifted and augmentation done her last August. I didn't even go for myself but I ended up leaving with a surgery date. The doctor was nothing but sweet. He definitely made me feel very comfortable. The nurses we amazingly kind, they even gave me their personal number in case I had an emergency. Post-op was fairly easy. To be honest I did not feel any pain. My breast healed nicely and I LOVE my results. I highly recommend this place. read more

I'm not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from honestly. I was recommended this place by someone I know and so I decided to give it a shot. My mom and I were both interested in getting a cosmetic procedure done and so we scheduled our consultation together. The wait time for the initial consultation was rather long (more than an hr) and then we had to wait for the Dr to get out of surgery so that he could meet with us. Other than that and the fact that almost no one there speaks English (other than the girl in front desk) I can't complain. The place looks very clean and modern, the staff is very friendly, and the prices are hard to beat. My mom had her tummy tuck done this past Saturday and is healing beautifully. My experience was terrible. I'm 4mo post op. My breast augmentation done by Dr.Calva is terrible. I will be doing a revision in March of this year. I'm so disappointed. His placement of implant cause my nipples to 'veer' off to the outer sides and almost up in my armpit. My mothers case was far worse. (We went together, and she had BBL) she ended up in hospital in Miami for a month TO THE DAY, and we live in Kansas. She has 3 different types of bacterial infection from the facility/Doctor. Formally Eres. The fat didn't survive and now she has hard knots in her flat ass. (Pardon the language) she was terribly sick almost near death at a few points from the day she recieved the surgery until the 2nd day when we decided to go to the ER. The service is horrific. I've had the worst experience here. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to come to the place. The girls here are all ghetto, rude, unhelpful. I bought a deal on Groupon and seriously regret it. It's a whole adventure just to make an appointment because nobody here speaks English. And I'm not exaggerating. Literally not a single person speaks English. The first time I came they told me that they cancelled my appointment without informing me so i drove an hour only for them to tell me they won't accommodate me. The second time I tried to make an appointment over the phone and the woman didn't speak English and hung up on me 9 times! I gave up and called two days later and finally made an appointment. When I showed up for my second appointment I waited for a few minutes and then the girl told me that i was 7 minutes late and they would not take me. This review is solely on the Clinic and the clinic alone. I have placed a deposit with Cindy to setup for my surgery August 8th which is now moved to June 23rd. I've heard numerous amounts of good reviews about Dr. Valls and I was excited to be in his hands to revise an already botched surgery. Now, I feel left out to dry. I sent my FMLA forms to my Coordinator to fill out so that can have to time off approved for the surgery and any after surgery provisions to return to work after my job. My Coordinator Cindy replied that the forms would not be completed until I arrived,due to the fact I could get sick and things could change. I understand this and yes I still need medical clearance, I get this. However, I explained that the forms are due by May 30th so I can schedule and flight out on June 21st to meet Dr. Valls for my Pre-Ops. Here we are today no response from Cindy at Imagenes/Jolie Plastic Surgery. Every time I call attempting to get someone to "Help Me" I am told someone will send a message to Cindy and will call as soon as she's done assisting another client, no one calls, not even after I requested the office manager. The way things are going it looks like I loose my deposit, it's clear according to everyone's prior claims, Imagenes Plastic Surgery will not return my money. Just finished my last (6th) laser hair removal session from a Groupon. I've read all the negative comments about the customer service, scheduling and the employees not speaking English. I honestly have to say that I didn't have issues with any of those things... with a couple of slight exceptions... There was one time that I did wait for almost an hour and it was because their machine had overheated. I later learned it was due to a lot of customers getting their legs lasered that day. I guess repeatedly treating such a large area overwhelmed the machine. After giving it some rest, it was able to work again. But again, that only happened once. The rest of the times, my wait wasn't bad at all. The other "slight issue" I had was more based on principle, not inconvenience to me... One day I was scheduled for a treatment but had forgotten the time of my appt, so I called that morning to ask. That's when I was told that it had been canceled. The lady on the phone was like "Nobody called you??". Nope! Nobody had! So if I hadn't happen to call, I would've driven there for nothing. But what REALLY irked me was that for my next appt (the rescheduled one, on a Monday), they called me on Friday to confirm and to inform me that if I didn't go, it would still count as one treatment. HA!! That cracked me up. Not only was it 3 days earlier on a Friday (an emergency could've arisen during the weekend and I would've had no way to cancel 24 hrs in advance) but they had just screwed up by canceling my appt the week before and not given ME even 6 hrs notice! So yeah, although I did end up going to my appt, that little thing they tried to pull was pretty aggravating. As far as the language thing goes, I speak Spanish and English and sometimes don't even realize which one I'm speaking, lol. So although the complaints might be accurate, that issue never affected me (although I TOTALLY understand the frustration someone might feel if they don't speak Spanish!!) Ok, so as far as the laser treatment... it has worked GREAT! I fully recommend it! Unfortunately, the first time was done by some lady who SUCKED! She barely spent time with me and barely covered the area being lasered. Good thing she no longer does it. The rest of the treatments were done by Ivonne. She's awesome! Very thorough and knows her stuff. If I was only rating HER, I'd give her 5 stars. read more

I had a Brazilian Butt Lift a Surgery scheduled with Dr. Sergio Alvarez in Miami, Fl and he had his staff called me and cancel my appointment with him 2 weeks prior (after I already paid them $4200 in full for the procedure), and not taking into account that I am coming from out of state, already booked my flight and took off from work for the day of the procedure. His staff then proceeded to threaten me and say that they will not give me my money back if I don't do the procedure on a different day. Great way to treat your clients huh. Meanwhile, neither the doctor himself or any office manager has had the courtesy to even reach out to me regarding this. Simply disgusting. Got a laser treatment as a gift and was a bit worried about the reviews but went there anyway. The experience was great, I was treated with respect, they went over the details and answered all my questions, did seem very patient as I did have a lot of questions about the treatment and some other procedures. I did have to wait a bit for my turn but the results were what I expected and I am really happy with my treatment. I will come back for some other procedures hopefully soon. read more

This review is based solely on the actual clinic. I had my surgery 4 days ago with Jonathan Fisher. He was extremely professional, very informative and had a great bedside manner. He exceeded my expectations with the work he performed on my stomach. If this review were for him, I'd give him 5 stars. This review is for Imagenes ONLY. Imagenes was just ok. Some of the girls were extremely sweet and helpful. There is a huge language barrier and I don't like that there is a lack of communication between staff. My biggest complaint is after surgery. I had an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo. That is a very painful surgery with a rough initial recovery. I was woken up from anesthesia and told it was time for me to leave. I was already dressed. Before I could even grab my bearings I was being pulled up off the bed to go to a wheelchair. I was in massive pain and started crying to please give me something before I left and the person who assisted me did not care that I was in excruciating pain with tears coming down my face. The pain was so bad I was shaking. I was then wheeled out to my ride. I was groggy and in so much pain that I honestly regretted my surgery. I felt like cattle being pushed out the door with no regard for how I felt and how severe my pain was. It definitely left a sour taste in my mouth and because of that I would not use them again. Again, this review is of the clinic ALONE. Dr Fisher was AMAZING and I would definitely recommend him as a surgeon. read more

Ok Ladies, BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS PLACE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF IN A HEART BEAT Not to mention how un sanitary it is. I was scheduled for surgery 4/10/17. When I got there everything seemed ok until I was taken to another building for my surgery. I walked into the room with chairs, there was no desk just another door. The girl that took me there said they will come and get me when they are ready. So I sat there for another half hour to 45 minutes. My scheduled appointment was at 9am and by time they came for me it was at least 2 hours later form my scheduled appointment. So of course they were running behind. so when they came and got me they put me in a little room that was totally dirty and dust and hairs all over the room and they gave me a used urine cup to give them a sample of my urine. Totally gross. They came in and hooked up the VI and left the room. The VI ran out so fast that it saturated my body with fluids which pushed my blood pressure up very high as the result they would not do the surgery. After I got dressed they took me back to the office so that they could make arrangements for me to get a refund. While in the office there was a man and woman asking to speak to the manger, something was happening. I really don't know what was going on but they were yelling to speak to the manger. Most likely they wanted their refund also, as the result the police were called. Because there was so much commotion going on at that time they took me in the back room to make the arrangement for my refund. But because of the situation happening in the front office the girl said that she could not give me my refund and that only the manger could do that and that she was not there at that time and not to worry I would have my refund in 7 days. Which of course never happened. I kept calling and texting. 10 days later I called to find out where my refund was they told me at that time that their policy had changed and that I needed to fill out a refund form. Feeling a pretty pissed off at this point. I printed out the form made it out and took it to Staples and sent it back to them this was 4/20/17. On this form it stated that I would have my refund with in 21 business days. Well it is now 6/6/17 and I still do not have my $4000.00 and every time I call they say they will call me back. but no one does, I have emailed, texted, and called and I have been getting the total run around. I called them and texted them today and guess what they said they no longer deal with this company. I was so mad I call my credit card company and explained what happened and I am disputing this charge. Never pay cash Thank God I paid with a charge card. I'm hoping to have my refund back on my card. I also have to say when I was on the table getting ready for the surgery there were people in the room eating and screwing around having fun eating a having fun while I was getting ready for surgery in the same room. THIS PLACE IS NOT SANITARY, NOTHING STERILE, OPEN TO GET INFECTIONS OR DISEASES. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO HAVE SURGERY!!!! Everything happens for a reason and I have to say God was on my side. Dr. Valls, the CRNA, the post op nurse were amazing..... HOWEVER... I scheduled 2 weeks in advance through consult with Alexandra Martinez. I asked many questions as a nurse practitioner and stated the dates I would be in Miami from Indiana. I was told the travel dates were fine, my BMI was close but ok and that it was drainless. I was also told my cost was all inclusive with the exception of 25$ for a drug test. Once I paid I was told I would hear soon from preop. I made it to miami and scheduled my preop for that Friday. When I arrived I signed many papers and took pics, no dr seen me, I was never weighed and when I said I was flying the next day they said I couldn't. I showed them the messages between me and Alexandra and that she preapproved, we were there almost 3 hrs and Alexandra said she was getting it cleared. She called back to the main office where we were waiting and told us that it was on and she was sorry but she was wrong it did have drains, she also said I would have to buy their 120$ surgical garment. I was told they would call me the next day with a time for surgery. On sat they never called so I called and they said be there at 930am on monday. At this point I had never seen a Dr. Mon we arrived and were walked from the main office to the surgery center and asked when we would be leaving again, by the receptionist, I gave the same date. She said she was surprised they were allowing me to have surgery since I want stressing a week. After waiting about 30 mins the girl came back and said i would have to stay in town an additional 5 days or I would be canceling. I stated then they needed to cover those expenses of 780 for additional rental car, hotel, flight change, food because their employees had okayed this travel date 2 times. Now she had me email the proof of what the coordinator said to her, which I did. Then we sat again for 30 mins they came back and said they would give me the garment free and 4 massages. A 300+ value, I declined. Then she said she would be back and came bank with an office manager who took us back to the main bldg. She started off very rude by showing me the cancellayion policy. I stopped her and explained her customer service skills were poor and again showed her where their employee okayed my travel dates and gave me various other incorrect info. She left us and said she would be back. This time she offered 300 plus the drug test free. We agreed but we had to provide proof of change of flight. After this we were placed back in surgery waiting it was now 1230. So this was a 3 hr ordeal. I was still never weighed and my vitals were not taken until I was on operating table receiving general anesthesia. However, I did meet Dr valls and the crna who were both great. Post op was good as well. Marilyn Montana was my pacu nurse and was lovely. Just FYI the doctors are contractors, make sure to do your homework! Our dr was great and I'm only 2 days post op. But it was a mess and the office had no idea what was going on. Their idea of customer service is very skewed. It was very disorganized. read more

Do NOT under any circumstance EVER go here! My mother had a friend who got a tummy tuck from one of the surgeons who practices at this location- Dr Stephanie Stover, as far as a surgeon she did an alright job (no sure yet).. My mother had an abdominoplasty/liposuction done at this location. First off- our appointment the day of surgery was at noon- we were a half hour early just in case there was any paperwork, etc. My mother had not eaten since midnight the previous night as is accustomed with surgery, this would've been fine had she been attended at noon, however we were not seen until 4PM! Oh and almost no one here speaks English so good luck if you need to communicate...anyway, she goes in for what should be a 3 hour surgery...it isn't till 8:30 that the anyone emerges to say she did well and is in recovery. The doctors then all leave at the same time. We were left with a single non-English speaking nurse. My mother in the recovery room was BLUE, so pale she looked dead. She writhed in pain, shaking profusely. The nurse covered her in a blood stained blanket we had seen a bleeding patient before her leave in with a running bloody operated nose. My mother lost control of her bowls on the recovery table and the nurse allowed her husband and daughter into the room and had a conversation with them about trying to leave as soon as we left. My mother who was clearly unnaware of her surroundings continued to cry and shake as the nurse cleaned her on the table, exposing her to her husband and daughter. I was mortified!!!! I couldn't find the right words in Spanish to communicate (my mother is more fluent). She told me to go get my mom's prescribed pain meds, Percocet, and to give her 2. Then rushed my mom to get up and walk to the wheel chair, my mom wasnt able to pick up her head, much less walk, she continued to cry. I called for help from the doctor, who ignored my calls. This ordeal went on for 3 hours! Eventually we were able to get my mother up and into the chair and drove her home. The next two days were horrible as well- on the third, we had to take my mom to the emergency room. She was unable to keep food down and we feared it could be a serious complication. We spent 3 days in the hospital. Apparently it was never brought to anyone's attention that the results of my mom's pre-op blood tests showed she was a bit anemic and after surgery even more so. Her hemoglobin was so low that it requires two blood transfusions which saved her life. All the while, we were unable to speak to Dr Stover. The emergency number given to us on a poorly written aftercare sheet was never answered. And we were left with a ton of questions. Here we are though, a week later at our first post-op aftercare consultation to remove her drainage tubes..THIS WAS AN IMPOSSIBLE APPOINTMENT TO MAKE since they only scheduled us with nurses and never the actual doctors. The girl guaranteed we'd see the doctor today at 9. Well...it's now 12:12PM...no sign of the doctor...much less of anyone else. My mother who is all stitched up is siting in this waiting room chair and it is difficult to watch people come in here and make appointments for surgeries. I wish them much better luck. I would never in my wildest dreams recommend this place to even my worst enemy. read more

Hello, I had my breast lift and breast implants with Dr. Reyes back in 2010. I was healing good and within 6 months my breast started sagging and my implants capsuled and advised I had pain. I went it to speak to him and he checked me out and said that I had lost weight and that is why my breast were like that. Which was def. not the case. Mind you, I did not loose weight and mentioned that I had lots of pain and still do till this day. He said he was willing to correct it If I paid another $1000.00. I just started crying since I had no idea I would have to come up with $1000 from one day to another. I left the office in tears and upset with the horrible breasts. This is affected my self esteem and also my sex life. I hate getting nude in front of my husband. Recently my sister in law mentioned that breast implants have a 10 year warranty on them in case they get capsuled. So I decided to call them again and schedule another appointment and see what they say this Saturday. Thankfully Dr. Reyes is not there and maybe another doctor can tell me what can be done. Ok.... it's not completely horrible like others say. It can pass, but the customer service is horrible. I got my breasts done with Dr. Reyes. They look quite natural on me, not too many problems with them. I did lose sensitivity, something my doctor said won't really happen with crease incision, this is my only regret. The price was very appealing and that is one of the only reasons I decided to go there. Quite frankly, if I had no monetary budget, I'd certainly choose another clinic. The costumer service is probably what made it unprofessional to say the least. Also, although Dr. Reyes did a decent job on my breasts, he didn't make me feel very comfortable, and I felt a bit ashamed to ask my questions and address my concerns, which almost felt inadequate. I've visited other surgeons which were more professional in their manner of communicating with the patient. So, in conclusion, they do an alright job with the procedures. I had breast augmentation and now I'm so regretting. I have one breast way bigger then the other, was left with bad/horrible scarring on both sides incisions. They are just interested in money and not on you. When I went follow up 2 months later, I explained my concerns to Dr. MARIO REYES and instead he dismissed me which made me cry and ever since I never returned because I knew he wouldn't wanted to do anything about it to fix it, and if he would of offer, I would have been scared because he was always defensive when I was telling him my concerns. DO NOT COME HERE! yes I'm a real patient, no I'm not a scam I'm just here trying to help potential patients considering doing something here. They messed up my body! Got a Groupon for Vellashape. There was the option to make the appointments online, which I did, all of them, and planned my schedule accordingly. To my surprise, a week later I get a phone call saying they were not aware Groupon was offering the online scheduling option, so no appointment had gone through, and they were completely booked for the next two months. Called Groupon to cancel, they contacted the place and somehow they managed to find available time for my appointments... The place looks nice BUT: lots of secretaries/receptionists, all confused working on the same thing. Got lots of calls from different people about the same thing. Many of them dont speak English at all. The staff in general has a bit of a bad attitude. On a few occasions I sat there for 20 minutes past my appointment time as I watched the aesthetician who was supposed to be with me, talk and have coffee, or argue that "this was not her time to work". One of them was always in a horrible mood during my treatments. Had to cancel one week and it was impossible to find another day, so I went for two weeks with nothing. Even though I was never called on time (always at least 20 min late), the one time I got there 10 min late I was told they would not see me... Anyway, you get the idea. With this kind of customer service, I dont even see a point on advertising with Groupon. Many better options out there! read more

Reading these negative reviews so I decided to share my experience. I had a tummy tuck done today by Dr. Sergio Alvarez. He made me feel very comfortable which is something very important. Very professional as well. My coordinator was Chary and she was very helpful and even worked with the budget I had. The nurse when I was in recovery room was very attentive with me which I loved. In the recovery room their is 2 beds so someone else was also in recovery with ONE nurse and she somehow made it happen to be attentive to two people with pain. I wish I knew her name to write it on but It was a blur. Another thing I loved was that they don't try to sell you medications or anything just to get your money. I had a surgery at a location and they made my husband by $500 papaya and mango pills which I check online and they sell for $5. Not in imagines! They give you the prescription for medications and you take it to your near pharmacy with your insurance and that's all. Overall GREAT GREAT GREAT STAFF! (No I am not an a worker or owner relative that writes reviews so their company can have good reviews! I am an actual patient, satisfied patience to be exact) I will recommend this location and Sergio Alvarez to many of my friends. Thank you Imagenes! read more
