I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I chose this facility based largely on the surgeon who was originally presented to me during the consultation and booking process. After paying a deposit and moving forward with scheduling, I discovered that the surgeon assigned to perform the procedure had been changed. What made this even more frustrating was the way the booking process was handled. I was expected to review documents, sign agreements, and make payment within a very short timeframe during the same call. I did not feel I was given a reasonable opportunity to fully understand the terms or the possibility of a surgeon substitution before committing financially. The identity and qualifications of the surgeon were a major factor in my decision to proceed. Learning about the change after the fact significantly damaged my trust and confidence in the process. When patients are making important medical decisions, transparency and clear communication should be a priority. Based on my experience, I felt pressured during the intake process and disappointed by the lack of clear communication regarding a change that directly affected my decision. initially scheduled for surgery with this office and was supposed to be seeing Dr. Manny, based on the reviews. However, throughout the process, the communication was extremely poor, and there were moments where the attitude felt unprofessional. After reading more Yelp, Google, and Facebook reviews, I ultimately decided not to move forward with them. I would have been traveling from Seattle, Washington to Miami, and since I was going to be alone, I did not want to deal with negative energy or unnecessary stress when my priority was making it home safely to my family. Although they promote that they do great surgical work, their staff communication is very disorganized. I received calls and texts from multiple different numbers, often with conflicting pricing and inconsistent information, which was concerning. I'm thankful I trusted my instincts and chose not to proceed, even though I had already paid a deposit, completed lab work, and booked a flight (which I was thankfully able to change). So I had a 250 deposit that I had paid for in 2024 for a lipo 360 and bbl for dr manny but I cant have it done because I had a tummy tuck before that that needs revision and I told newlife about that and they asked for pics and they got dr manny to evaluate me and he said he cant do my surgery so they suggested dr dress.. I looked him up did some research and decided to have my deposit transferred to dr dress and to add a breast lift... mind u i asked before hands if i had to pay anything extra for transferring the deposit to dr dress and they said no...I had 2 different coordinators calling me and telling me I needed to put down and extra deposit for $750 if I wanted to proceed with surgery and add that procedure the breast lift to it... after they said I didnt have to pay anything one of the coordinators, AILEDYS got really defensive with me and even tried to scam me and get me to send her 750 through klarna she was guiding me and all on how to send her the money the thing is that I hung up on her and called newlife back and again they said I didnt hace to pay anything because I already gave a deposit they just have to update my invoice with the new procedure i want and switch doctors and fix my invoice.... I get another call from another coordinator that assures me I do not have to pay anything extra for changing doctors or adding tummy tuck revision and breast lift so she guides me through the whole process she sends me a new contract a new invoice and I sign it and its all good until she makes another invoice and then sends it to me and tells me I have to pay 250 more to proceed just for transferring doctors and updating procedures. I told her im not booking anything because they had told me I dont need to pay anything and shes like ok lets do this you can pay those 250 extra the day of your surgery and I told her no still because I think they just wanted to keep my money.. they hadn't even sent my new pics to dr dress or evaluated me at all they were just doing their thing with my file and trying to make a quick buck from me so I told her to cancel my surgery they are already trying to charge me like 13,500 for surgery and if I gotta pay that much might as well just go to another clinic and book with those 250 and 750 they wanted me to pay its not like newlife is super good either to be paying that much.. eff that.... How about I suffered an infection that put me in the hospital for a week and they wouldn't even return mine or my Primary Care provider a call or text. To whom it may concern at NewLife Plastic Surgery, I inquired about receiving a procedure from your medical center back in March. Since then, I have tried my best to correspond with Dr. Dress's coordination team. However, an attendant named Lazara has been very cold and uninviting in her interactions with me. I asked if there were any issues because I was uncomfortable with how I was being treated when inquiring about financing, my labs, or anything pending for my surgery, including my medical records and prescriptions. She was unable to help and, when I asked to speak to someone else for further assistance, she hung up on me. I was later called back by her so called manager who then transferred me to Stephanie, who initially quoted me a remaining balance of $7,100 for my surgery after my $500 deposit. I was then given resources to contact three different financing companies to secure a loan for the remaining amount, which I did. However, now a week before my procedure, I have been quoted a higher amount, despite having signed a contract for a lower amount. This has led to me being asked to take out another loan. I explained to her that legally, I signed a contract stating the quoted amount for my procedure hence why the loan was taken out for that specific amount she then informed me that she would be reaching out to new lives financing team and would contact me back and I have yet to hear from Her.  This entire process has been extremely frustrating. Every time I call, my calls are screened and not answered. I have already paid for housing and travel expenses, including a rental car, but I cannot even speak to the center responsible for my major surgery.  Unfortunately, the surgeon himself seems unaware of how the administration is mishandling patients. I do not feel comfortable having such a major surgery performed if I can't even get proper care prior to the surgery. This raises serious concerns about the quality of aftercare I would receive from this office. I am 1 month 2 weeks post op my experience was smooth, my coordinator was very helpful, she answered every question and checked in, I was beyond satisfied with the level of communication. The office called days prior to ensure everything was ok and if I had any questions. When I got there I was also satisfied with the center itself, it was clean, the receptionist was friendly. Pre op went by smoothly, no issues, I was satisfied with their service. Day of surgery same thing. Went smoothly, there was a long wait but it's expected since they are working on patients and can't rush. Dr.Dress is the sweetest surgeon I've met, he was kind and made me feel comfortable. Surgery went well I am happy with my results, the center even followed up with me a week to two weeks after my surgery to answer questions and that made me feel even better about the service. Staff are rude and disorganized. The building is freezing cold and the lines of people waiting to get in for their appointments are lined up in the parking garage. The surgical coordinator failed to send pre-op labs until 24 hrs prior to procedure. The delay in labs made me the last doll of the day. Fasting for surgery in a cold waiting room for hours and hours . Never be the last surgery of the day. Staff is tired and IMO sloppy with their work. ( tummy tuck with extreme muscle repair ) Not only do I have dog ears on both sides. My scar is real purple and keloids, the muscle repair has failed and I have a huge bulge under my sternum. I had 2 nd round bbl with Dr JC Alvarez 6 months ago. Let's see... where do I start? Once you pay you're not told that you have to come out of pocket for your labs and EKG. This should be included i surgery. My first bbl included everything. I didn't have to run around town getting my labs done or getting medical clearance. I'm 420 everyday and the dr made me quit before surgery. I've had many surgeries and no dr ever made me quit. I followed instructions to a T. Day of surgery, I am tested, and the results are positive. The nurse tells me it's OK it's not a big deal. So why did this man make me suffer for 6 weeks for nothing? I struggled to keep the weight on ( I gained weight for the fat transfer) because I was experiencing bad withdrawals. Dr JC Alvarez doesn't do Vaser lipo resulting in the most uneven lipo ever. I have pockets of fat in diff places. My stomach looks warped below the belly button. I paid for full back lipo and didn't get that. The worst liposuction ever. My stomach looked amazing before this surgery. I'm now basically botched and will need a lipo revision with fat grafting. Right after surgery they wheeled me out while I'm shaking uncontrollably. Smh. The worst treatment! They could've waited 15 mins and I would've been fine. He did an amazing job w/ The fat transfer and the way he molded my glutes & hips. I've been dealing with this facility for almost 2 years back-and-forth trying to get my refund yet. I still haven't got it. I have a contract that said they would refund me. I have voice recordings in messages that said I would get my refund credited back and I did it this woman here is the last person I dealt with when I was at the facility and which I do have her voice recordings and text messages guaranteeing me my refund yet I still haven't got it. I had my surgery 12/1 with Dr. Simmons. The same day after surgery my hips and my side and butt looked off. I assumed it was because of the swelling. I mentioned the issue to the lady at new life that gave me my massages but she said it assured me it was the swelling. A few weeks passed and the swelling was going down and and the issue was actually looking worse. So I reached to the "Dr" on Instagram with pics. I really feel like coordinators run it. They said it's to early and to keep wearing my faja. Which I was and I kept doing. I let more time pass. My hips are drastically uneven, I still have a love handle, I have one hip dip, my butt has more fat on top and is flat from the side with no roundness and I still have bra rolls. I contacted them again on Instagram with pics and they said it's just scar tissue and the ignored my reply. I'm so frustrated. I called New life and asked to speak to a manager. I havent gotten a call back yet. I'm tired of the run around and I want something done. I wear my faja foams and boards like I'm supposed to. I get messages and everything. I followed all post op care.  UPDATE: I got approve for the revision but now the run around on scheduling wont stop. I got approve by the manager. I was told to expect a phone call from a consultant no longer than 5 mins after we hung. It's been days!! I've been calling getting hung up on, then when I finally got through they told my I didnt have a consultant so they assigned me someone new. On June 30th 2021 Dr. Julio C. Alvarez (American Board Certified) at New Life Plastic Surgery in Miami, FL did my Breast Augmentation with Lift and Lipo 360. He did an amazing job. Before the surgery I had saggy / hanging DD breast, and a muffin top stomach with lower back flab. I gained weight because of the gyms being closed down due to Covid -19 pandemic. It was hard to find clothes that would flatter my physic. Now my new Breast are lifted, perky and pretty C cups, just what I wanted!! Most importantly I have ALL FEELING IN MY NIPPLES. The communication is poor, I have been given the run around for over three months now about my refund since the doctor I was booked with here (Dr. Harry) is no longer here. This place was horrible. It is a cross between the county building and a chop shop. There are SO many girls there as if it is BOGO. The staff barely speaks English. I was met with deep sighs when I asked for basic clarification on aftercare. I found Dr. Simmons from a referral (that planned to go to him). I checked reafself (his personal reviews were great) and his license before going in. For some strange reason I did not check yelp. I came from California where a breast augmentation can range from $10,000-$25,000. The prices in Miami are very enticing however this is your ONE BODY AND ONE LIFE. I was put to sleep by an assistant!!!!!!! I was not giving my prescription until after surgery so I was in pain. My prescription should have been given to me prior to surgery for a smooth pain free transition. The staff is unprofessional and horrendous. I Should have went to unique aesthetics like I was referred (and the person actually went). I am thankful to be alive and grateful that it over. I should have walked out! I'm back with another review! Surgery day! Was at 4:30am. When I arrived the atmosphere was calm and quiet! I'm a funny person so I was making everyone laugh and they were laughing back with me! Making sure I was okay! Took my vitals and urine sample. Then I met with my doctor who greeted me with a warm embrace! He gave me a hug and he smelled so good! His smile and charm was very reassuring! We laughed and talked about how I wanted my results to look! He gave me all the info I needed to know and I was ready! I met with the anesthesiologist also! He was so funny! When he was prepping me, he said you're about to go to sleep! I said, why? Am I talking too much, he said yes, go to sleep! Then I was sleep lol! When I woke up, I was done! This review is strictly for the clinical staff at New Life, not the doctor himself. Dr. Harry did exactly what I asked and I am not at all unhappy with the results. I flew in from Atlanta for my BBL surgery with Dr. Harry. The clinic itself was packed like the DMV when I arrived for my pre-op appointment. At least 50 people, some there for pre-op, some post-op and there was no where to sit for many. The wait was long and it seemed like a fast food drive thru. The day of surgery everything went well, until I woke up from anesthesia. I was in the worst pain I've ever felt in my life, I was asking the nurses in recovery to give me something for pain and they did nothing but talk amongst themselves in Spanish and ignored me completely. I had lost a tremendous amount of blood, soaked thru my faja and the full length terry cloth robe that I was wearing and yet they sent me on my way with a driver from the recovery house where I was staying. I continued to bleed profusely over the next 24 hours. Since I could not stop the bleeding, I arrived a bloody mess for my post-op visit the next day. I was so lightheaded, I could barely stand, I was white as a sheet and my lips had even lost their color. I was clearly in a state of distress and the "nurse" I had my appointment with proceeded to tell me the only reason I was having problems was because I was taking too much Percocet. I repeatedly told her that I had not taken any Percocet that morning AT ALL.... but this did nothing to change her opinion. She hurried me out of the exam room without even examining me and then much to my horror began telling my driver in Spanish that he needs to tell my recovery house to only allow me to take Tylenol and not take anymore Percocet, because I've been taking way to many pain pills! This was in front of a full waiting area of people. Can you say HIPPA violation??? Maybe she thought because she speaking Spanish that I wouldn't understand her, I don't know. I was scared and I was horrified to be treated like a pill popping drug addict in the middle of a packed lobby. I was supposed to go back two days later to meet with the doctor, but every time I tried to get my appointment time the receptionist stated someone would call me back.... that never happened. So, I never went back to New Life. Again, Dr. Harry did a great job- but New Life is a frikken chop shop and I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. read more

I had a wonderful experience with my first surgery. I got exactly what I asked for. My recovery was a little hard but I got through it with help. My only complaint is that for women who are out of state is that there be more communication with their primary care provider because I had a hard time with having my drains removed. Nobody wanted to touch them. I had to go to the ED an even then they didn't want to remove them. They eventually did but it almost took an act of congress lol. I will return to get the other things I want done and hoping to have positive outcomes and better communication between my doctors and them. This clinic robbed my I was supposed to go for a surgery in November last year I paid more than 500 for the deposit and was told days before my surgery the dr I was supposed to go with was let go bc she had been practicing without her license! DO NOT and I will Repeat DO Not go to New Life Plastic Surgery Center in Miami! They will Steal your Deposit. I have receipts of our communication. Last month I paid my deposit for a tummy Tuck, Breast lift lipo to the arms and Thighs. My surgery was scheduled for February 22nd 2022 The surgery consultant never contacted me to give me my paperwork for my surgery clearance/ lab work. I DM Dr.Zach he did respond back to me. I let him know that I was scheduled an appointment and hadn't heard from the surgery consultant. I received a text from New Life Surgery Center saying that Dr.Zach wasn't doing surgery's at New Life anymore and I could choose between Dr.Rasrati or Dr. Simmons I told them that was fine either Dr was fine with me. I texted Leydis Lopez a worker at New Life Plastic Surgery Center that I wanted the same contract that I had with Dr.Zach she then told me she didn't know that I wanted Lipo to the arms and thighs she didn't add that in my cost. I was very direct from day one of what I wanted. I was told EVERYDAY that the Surgery Consultant would be contacting me to send me my paperwork.I still haven't heard from the Surgery Consultant or Manager about my Surgery. I'm going to request my money back. I suggest you think long and hard about using this Facility in regards to plastic surgery and especially if you don't live in Miami because they specialize in taking peoples deposit that live out of town. read more

THEY cancel your scheduled procedure with a specific surgeon 4 weeks before the surgical date stating the surgeon doesn't accept patient with certain medical conditions even though they've known this for almost 5 months. Then they tell you have to choose a different surgeon, you finally choose one only to be told that the second surgeon you chose doesn't perform the surgery you're wanting AND refuse to refund your money. The refund "manager" never calls you back and only relays messages through other people. This isn't a reputable establishment. They are crooks and hold no accountability even though you've been 100% honest about everything.​ read more
