We've been thinking about Botox and fillers for so long. My wife and I saved our pennies, did our research and landed in BCC. I'm so happy we did! The consultation exceeded my expectations. Dr. Dozier's tact, professionalism and humor made the whole experience so comfortable. She answered our 27,000 questions and was incredibly thorough. The staff in the front is just as professional, humble, INSERT ALL THE POSITIVE ADJECTIVES EVER. It should be noted that you can eat off of every single surface in this office. Incredibly clean/sanitary. Two weeks after our consultation we had our plump. That on its own deserves it own review. When I thought things couldn't get better they did. You feel like you're in a dream (mind you they're sticking needles in your face but i stand by what I say). They have defined what it is to "take care" of someone. My wife and I were first timers and they were so comforting. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left it was a spa like experience. I can't thank the staff, nurse and doctor enough. When i saw my lips I became super emotional. They looked phenomenal. It was worth every single penny. The procedure was not painful AT ALL. I don't consider myself to have a high pain tolerance but they take EXTRA care and make sure you are as comfortable as possible during the whole procedure. Going to a dermatologist makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. If you are on the ledge about going through with this I beg you to give this place a shot. I'm a nervous rat and someway, some how they managed to make an anxiety ridden experience a relaxing one. Forever grateful. AVOID THIS PLACE. Negligent practice. One emergency room visit, 4 eye doctor appointments and two months later, I'm finally okay after Brickell Cosmetic Center's negligence with laser hair removal giving me UV burn to my eyes. Here's what I texted the manager: Hi Ernesto, I got a second opinion from Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and I have a written diagnosis of Photokeratitis in both eyes. He is having me come back for photos of the back of my eyes in a couple weeks but I'm not going to wait that long because I'm experiencing dimness in color my vision. Paige did the wrong area, toward the back of the bottom of my chin, she didn't say "are you ready?" And starting zapping at the left side of the back of my chin toward my throat area, which I believe caused the light to shine up through the bottom side of the glasses. She did it rapidly a few times, (again, without saying "are you ready") So I had to stop her and say wait that's not even the area I need done? Those are glasses you guys are giving patients, not goggles. People have different shape faces, I have a small face. The light obviously went underneath the glasses and into my eyes. I think Paige needs to lose her license and be fired immediately. She was physically foaming at the mouth the first time I ever met her and something seemed off about her. The second time I met her when she did this to me, she wasn't even following the conversation that she started with me. I was talking about something that I did the day before and before I walked about she said "well good luck with that". So odd. I don't think she has good intentions. A lovely place to find incompetence and crooks. I came in for a hydra facial, they make you pay before the treatment. Now that I got the treatment, I understand the method to their madness. My facialist told me she was able to remove a milia (deep clogged pore) that was bugging me and I inquired about down time because I had a crazy weekend ahead full of events. My appointment was on a Monday or Tue. She assured me it would be about 2 days before the redness would go down. Lies. She left me with a nasty scab for almost 2 weeks that has thus turned in to a scar that is still on my face 2.5 months later. The milia was a dream in comparison to what I went through. I asked for a refund via text and they kept asking to chat on the phone instead of simply issuing the refund. Therefore, never got a refund like the true pieces of sh*t they are. Been a client at Brickell Cosmetic Center for over a year now and I'm finally ready to write a review... Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. The center is extremely organized in scheduling and confirming appointments both via email and text. The Center is quaint and always is enjoyable to visit. They offer a wide range of services and high quality skin products. They open on Saturdays which is very convenient as it's hard for to make it after work during the week. The laser hair removal machine Soprano Ice is truly magnificent. It's one of the least painful lasers I have ever experienced. The tip of the machine is cold so they can numb the area before they zap you which allows you to hardly feel any pain. I highly recommend. I tried other machines in other places and they honestly were pretty torturous. The blue obagi peel is also an excellent treatment as well as the Micro Pod (Microdermabrasion) treatments. Overall everyone is also extremely professional which has always made this experience at Brickell Cosmetic Center enjoyable. My experience was not good. I took an appointment for varicose veins. I speci asked them not to inject any saline solutio which when I was there was not taken in account. I was applied a gel sedative to avoid the pain of the needle. I waited for about 30 minutes. Once I the procedure commenced, I never felt so much pain before ( I have been doing this procedure for at least 15 years as a follow up). I was told to keep bandages for 15 days, not to work out and every other things that I was asked to ensure a good result, which I did. I was In pain for about 2 weeks ( this had never happened to me before) and not only this but I have scaring veins on my legs which is even worse than before doing the procedure.I thought this would go away after 2 months but we are 3 months I am realizing it will never go away. This is very depressing. My advice is go to a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and avoid these types of centers who pretend to be good at everything to make money or go to Europe where they are way well advanced for this type of procedures. This procedure should not hurt and give you some pain. Not at all! They charge about $1,200.00 which is not worth it at all! read more

My experience was not good in this place. I had 4 laser sessions to improve the spots on my face that according to her were superficial and I ended up with more spots than I had due to the bad job. So I spent almost $10k to get absolutely nothing but permanent red spots on my face and neck lines from this so called rejuvenating laser treatment called "Morpheus". Please beware with this. Not only did it not do anything but my neck now looks worse and I have some permanent needles marks around my mouth that won't go away. Velashape is BS. Profound is the only machine worth going for but it solves a tiny area and your fat goes somewhere else. Beware of this place. They upsell you for every mistake causing you to pay thousands to fix what wasn't wrong in the first place. Oh and the supposed "dr" is terrible... got filler and made my jaw all uneven. After my friend had some glowing results from a microdermabrasion, I'm curious to try it myself. There are plenty of groupons around for such service, but I am rather wary of them, as most experience as reviewed on Yelp are rather negative. I am in for a pleasant surprise. First, when I called to make an appointment I was able to get one for two days later, unlike some groupon deals where you have a hard time booking anything. I was also glad to find that the place is not smack in Brickell/downtown where I would pay a lot for parking. It's in the Roads, and besides the small private parking lot, street parking can be found. After filling out the intake form on a tablet, my appointment began on time, and last the time they said it would. My aesthetician was really nice and friendly. Best of all, while she discussed what treatments may benefit me the most, she gave me brochures to read on my own, and was honest in her comments, something along the line of "this technique works best if using XXX, but our service here uses YYY." I was all braced for serious sales pitch but was much relieved that I was not pressured to buy additional service or product. This alone is worth two stars!! I understands the a lot of people in Miami don't care about others time, so they book and they don't show up, but I don't feel comfortable with this system . I purchased a Groupon from here on a whim and had a microdermabrasion done with a LED light treatment. It was my first time, so I don't know if I could be a good judge of the microderm, but based on what I know/researched about the it, I feel like I got more than my money's worth. I felt immediate results, and my skin looks clearer and and more "glow-y", even though it was my first procedure. My technician/esthetician was very thorough and was very sweet, even though the whole time I kept asking her what she was doing and what she was putting on my face. The room I was in was very calming and spa-like, all white with clean white sheets, the lights turned off and nature sounds playing in the background. Place is easy to find. There is only about 5 parking spots and the entry is really narrow. Receptionist wasn't rude but neither welcoming. She was just "doing her job" kind of attitude. Bought a deal a couple of months ago on Couptessa for a facial and collagen mask. After months of trying to get an appointment at a decent hour on a Saturday, I finally got in. One of the first problems I encountered was parking....there was no parking near by. There are about 5 spots, behind the building, which are super tight to get in and out of....not recommended to go in a big car. So then you get inside, nice little waiting area and everything is set up nice, but you get this questionnaire that's two pages long....for a facial? Really? Ok, so fill out the questionnaire....final get to the facial. Upon entering the facial room, which is rather big and nice....the esthetician asks me if I want her to do extractions. Really...isn't that part of a facial??? Ok, yes, extractions...moving on....all she worked on was my nose and nothing that I couldn't do myself at home after showering. During what was supposed to be the time for my pores to open up during the steam, she was working on my face "exfoliating" it. Um, I thought the steam was supposed to open up my pores so you could later work on the extractions and THEN exfoliate? Moving right along....collagen mask. So the mask itself came out of a little pouch....which she placed over my face. She then proceeded to massage my face....neck, head and arms? Since when are your arms considered part of a facial? So it was finally over....she then proceeds to attack my cleansing technique. Tells me that the cleanser and moisturizer I've been using for years, YEARS, are not good for my skin.....um, I've never had a problem with them before. Sorry, I will not purchase an $87 cleanser from you because you recommend it. Needless to say, I will never go back to this place. I bought the Lumicelle anticellulite package of 6 treatments on Groupon. Place is very nice and clean and stuff are sweet and friendly, but this package is a waste of time and money. Every treatment lasted about 10 minutes (if you look up anywhere online treatments should last 30-60 minutes). Every time I spent my time driving and waiting there (they are not very good at organizing appointments), and I didn't see any real results. Every time I went they tried to sell me more packages, telling me that it takes at least 24 treatments to see real results. Sometimes groupon deals are good opportuinty to save, but in my opinion this one is a scam. read more
