I never heard of it before and was a little scared getting laser treatments on my face. They did a little test spot first and it's pretty much a bright burst of light with a little zap. Honestly, laser hair removal hurts much more. I didn't see much improvement in my skin at first but hey, it was a freebie so I wasn't gonna complain. However, just this morning, when applying my make up I took a closer look at my skin and noticed such a difference. Having recently moved to Miami I have heard horror stories about injectors. I am very relieved Dr Calderon is not one of those stories. His aesthetic is natural and prefers to do a little at a time and for you to come back then he to do too much. In my experience this conservative, and calm, approach is a sign of a superb injector. Also, he explains EVERYTHING... from the science behind the product, to the anatomy of the injection site, to his injection technique... he will go into great detail and doesn't rush through the appointment. This is truly not common! My other concern with being injected in Miami was that my aesthetic is not the typical Miami one. Dr Calderon not only honors the patient's preferred aesthetic but his own aesthetic preferences reflect a conservative style. She said she and her manager would review it and call me back. They never did. No apology. No explanation. No solution. They also refused to share the recording. I asked if I'd be able to hear it once they found it. She said no. At this point it's pretty clear: do not get tattoo removal here. They mislead people, they dodge accountability, and the machines look like they belong in a museum. Please learn from my experience and avoid getting scammed.

You would think that during these unprecedented times, they would be taking precautions and following CDC guidelines with their customers and staff. Not the case in this office. My appointment was at 2:20 PM on September 4th, and it was 3:10 PM and I still wasn't seen. I was still waiting in that waiting room while people kept coming in and out, one after the other, and the technician was still unavailable to see me. Horrible experience. There was no accountability or willingness to work with me. Instead, it was implied that my body 'metabolized it quickly,' and the focus kept going back to the fact that I received a discount. Regardless of the price, this is still a cosmetic procedure that cost a significant amount of money, and I expected results to last longer than just over a month. I also feel this possibility should have been clearly explained beforehand. Overall, I left feeling dismissed and unsupported. I would not recommend based on my experience.
