After starting my laser hair removal journey at another spot, I quickly realized while I liked the results, I did not like the pressure to purchase packages that would result in payments for the next 2 years of my life with no upfront information regarding the price of each session. What immediately impressed me is that on their website you are provided with all the information other places withhold from you, like the price for each service! You'll find the best laser to reduce fine lines, remove hair, improve skin texture... and great customer service. I met Audrey, the owner, a couple of years ago. As you can tell from my picture, I have "ethnic" skin so I dicussed with her my concerns about laser hair removal. She listened attentively and explained to me how the laser interacts with the skin and put me at ease. (I had seen a friend of mine scarred by another laser hair removal center and I was nervous that the same would happen to me.) Audrey's disposition was extremely professional and patient. How about the results of my first session at The Parlour? I am thrilled! The laser wasn't as painful as other lasers used at other med spas. Audrey's technique was precise, I didn't feel discomfort. The process didn't leave any scars, just baby smooth skin. "Bye, bye" to unwanted hair, bleaching and waxing. In addition to laser hair removal, the spa offers laser treatments to help all skin types from producing collagen to diminishing acne scars and sun spots, as well as offering chemical peels and facials. THE GOOD: They're nice. THE NOT SO GOOD: We confirmed an appointment weeks prior and the day of they had no record of me. I showed them proof of our booking and they scrambled to reschedule me for the following day. A huge inconvenience, but I let it go. Most importantly, the laser hair removal was sloppy. I spent over $400 only to be left with many patches and stripes of hair that Audrey missed. I've never had a laser hair removal done this poorly. And I'm going to have to pay another clinic to correct this issue. I brought this to Audrey's attention via email and she replied saying "My business has been open over 5 years and I've never been told anything like that before. I've actually been told the opposite throughout my career. I'm so sorry you feel this way." It's not a feeling Audrey, and you're not sorry. Though you may do good work sometimes, the work you did on me was very poor. And when I offered to send you pictures of the botch job, you didn't reply. I would never send a client away like this, which is why I asked the you to cover my costs to fix this, which you refused to do. I was referred to Audrey thru a friend of mine who has absolutely damn perfect eyebrows. I had never done threading and decided to give it a shot since waxing for me is a no. I use acne medication that doesn't mix well with wax. I am so so so so happy with my eyebrows!
