After starting my laser hair removal journey at another spot, I quickly realized while I liked the results, I did not like the pressure to purchase packages that would result in payments for the next 2 years of my life with no upfront information regarding the price of each session. I started to do some research and discovered The Parlour and I am so thankful that I did. What immediately impressed me is that on their website you are provided with all the information other places withhold from you, like the price for each service! I especially liked that you can pay by session and if you do want to purchase a package that is available too. On my first visit, I had mentioned to her about some AC issues I was having at home and to my surprise on my next visit she remembered and made a point to ask me how my AC was doing. After several visits at the other spot I was going to, I don't think they ever even knew my name yet after 6 weeks Erika remembered I was having AC issues at home....that is some excellent customer care!!!! She keeps the small talk flowing, and the process as fast and gentle as possible that when it's over you almost feel like you want to stay longer to keep talking. THE GOOD: They're nice. THE NOT SO GOOD: We confirmed an appointment weeks prior and the day of they had no record of me. I showed them proof of our booking and they scrambled to reschedule me for the following day. A huge inconvenience, but I let it go. Most importantly, the laser hair removal was sloppy. I spent over $400 only to be left with many patches and stripes of hair that Audrey missed. I've never had a laser hair removal done this poorly. And I'm going to have to pay another clinic to correct this issue. I brought this to Audrey's attention via email and she replied saying "My business has been open over 5 years and I've never been told anything like that before. I've actually been told the opposite throughout my career. I'm so sorry you feel this way." It's not a feeling Audrey, and you're not sorry. Though you may do good work sometimes, the work you did on me was very poor. And when I offered to send you pictures of the botch job, you didn't reply. I would never send a client away like this, which is why I asked the you to cover my costs to fix this, which you refused to do. As you can tell from my picture, I have "ethnic" skin so I dicussed with her my concerns about laser hair removal. I was referred to Audrey thru a friend of mine who has absolutely damn perfect eyebrows. I had never done threading and decided to give it a shot since waxing for me is a no.
