I came in today for a brow wax without an appt. Tammi did a great job and it cost a reasonable $12! The salon isn't pretty and has very strong nail polish smells, so i wanted to get in and out quick. Wax took 10 mins and I was happy with the result. read more

I've been coming here for a couple of years and its always been a great experience. Everyone does a great job (I've gone to about 6 different people) so you can't go wrong but I always ask for Helen. Helen is awesome! She is the best ever at clipping back cuticles. I can file my nails and paint them but the cuticles are another story. The cuticle trimming is a big reason why I go to get my nails done. I'm never disappointed and I don't feel like she's in a rush to finish. So if you are in the area, stop by or make an appointment (they do get very busy). Hopefully you'll have as great of an experience as I've had all these years! read more

Love the customer service! I had gone here once to get a manicure and went a couple of times more after that. I wasn't able to go for about 6 months, but when I did finally return Linda remembered my name. Now that's customer service, because I would be absent every couple of months but when I come back and walk through that door Linda sees me and greets me by name. Linda is awesome with eyebrows, manicures and facials! You can do walk ins early in the morning, but in the afternoon and evenings you're going to want to make an appointment because they do get busy. read more

Well I really liked getting my nails done by Bill until he recently left. I had them done recently by Trinity & I did not like the way she rushed through it. The nail polish was uneven & it looked crappy. Bill took his time & did a really good job. My mom hates the place- she swears it gave her a fungus under one of her nails. So, now I am a little weary about the place after reading other reviews of fungus. I went to La Bonne Vie on Hazelwood in SSF to get my acrylic nails filled. Not only did my nails burn when I left there, but they cut my cuticle and two nails chipped 2 days after I got them done. Two weeks later, I went to Image Perfection. Tiffany did my nails and she did a wonderful job. She removed the horrible nails that were done by La Bonne Vie and replaced them with a fresh set that didn't burn my nails. I will definitely go back! Thank you, Tiffany! read more

My aunt recommended this salon to my mother and I. My mom got a mani/pedi and i originally wanted a mani but i'm indecisive and decided last minute i wanted a full acrylic set. They had no problem accomodating my late request. My mom was taken care of by Diana and she was very gentle and thorough with her work. She gave a good massage both on pedi and mani. In the end, her nails looked spectacular! I was taken care of by Fonda, who works on Saturday and Sunday. Never in my life have I had such a great set of acrylics! The shape is amazing, they look so natural even though they are squared. She takes her time and makes sure each nail looks good. My best friend even commented on how great they looked and real as well. My mom and I will both definitely be coming back to this salon! read more

I've been coming to this place for years and even with the high turnover on staff, I still get the best gel mani and pedicures! Helen was my go-to-girl, but she's moved on. And when Anne came back, I was excited because she's just like Helen. She's a perfectionist and takes her time doing the nails and pedis. She's brutally honest when it comes to color choice and makes recommendations. I giving her five stars because she's awesome, but the price is getting a little too high. Alright, i normally dont do reviews but after reading all the negative feedback on my favorite salon, i had to put my two cents in. First of all i have been going to this salon since it opened up at the OLD location. we also need to get a couple of facts straight about this salon. First of all, theres never been any previous owner, just Linda. Secondly, if theres an issue, just let Linda know. She will take care of it. All the nail techs are suppose to use brand new tools and they have an auto clave (a machine to sterilize). They each have their own box of tools so if someone else doesnt follow proper sanitary procedures the other techs cant blame another person for not sterilizing the equipment. As for Vincent there was never anything wrong between their relationship at the salon. People come and go in work life. As for the receptionists yacking on the phone... just tell Linda and like i said, she'll take care of it. This is the best salon i've been to, and i have tried a lot. Linda tells you the truth...she wont try to sell you a product. If youre breaking out, she'll tell you depending on your skin type what type of facial to get. She tells you if your eyebrows are not ready to be waxed yet. She even tells me that electrolysis isnt the best for hair removal and has a better solution for permanent hair removal. I mean all that is already taking away business from her because she does waxing, electorlysis and facials. You know shes watching out for your well being, unlike most salons that just look at you as $$$. Best place out there....but make an appt.... and dont take saturdays cause those are my days. =P read more

I decided to try a new nail salon, closer to home because I was in a hurry. I walked in and immediatly began to regret that I asked for a "gel fill". I was sat down and someone began filing before asking me how short I wanted my nails or even said one word like "hello". I overlooked that and tried to spark a simple coversation which turned out to be cold and one-sided. No biggie, I understand that not everyone in customer service wants to actually speak to their customers. As I sat there, I started to scope out the "salon". Within a couple of minutes I started to see how unkept the place was and really began regretting that I was already siting down and someone was already working on my nails. I saw a couple of people getting pedicures. One lady had finished hers and was on her way out when a new woman walked through the front door and without hesistation, she was sat down in the same chair as the previous woman - the "foot tub" had NOT BEEN CLEANED at all. The instruments that were used on the previous customer, were kept in the same spot and used again, without cleansing on the new customer. Foot scrubbers, nail clippers and cuticle removers. Now I am really nervous becuase I have no idea when or if the instruments currently being used on my hands, were cleaned at all. So, I asked the girl doing my nails if they were cleaned after use and her response was first spoken to another woman there in Vietnamese and then she said a simple "yes". I went to this place two Fridays ago to get a manicure and pedicure. When we finished the lady that did the pedicure gave me some used disposable sandals (bad call). She fixed my toe nail that scrapped while I got off the chair. When I came back to work, I noticed my right foot was kind of red and uncomfortable. I through away the sandals and put on my shoes. By Saturday morning I had red rash with red bumps allover my right foot, by Sunday I had blisters. I called my Doctor on Sunday and scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. I went to the doctor and the blister pupped and she said a caught a pretty bad fungus infection from the salon. I have never ever had any fungus through my medical history and my Doctor was surprised. My Doctor said I was lucky that I caught it right away, she only gave me ointment, but today is looking pretty bad. I need to go to the Doctor and get stronger medicine. This place needs to sterilized everything and be more careful, bleach the towels they use and be more careful. Run away from this place. read more

Stay away. I came here for a manipedi and even took my sister with me. The lady that did my pedi was nice and sweet but did a bad job at painting, it was messed up they had to redo it and even after they tried to fix it it was still messy. It was even more annoying when she switched with another employee to do mani. She did not say anything she just went over to the next customer to do her mani and the employee that did that other customer's pedi came to me to do mine. I didn't understand why it was necessary to switch but oh well I guessed I'll just have to split the tip. The employee that did my mani talks way too much and wasn't paying attention. She cut my skin (4 cuts total) and did a very bad job at painting too (the paint was uneven, some parts were thicker). These people also do not answer phones that an angry lady came yelling and complaining, saying she's a good customer and she's been calling for the past hour. One employee said "sorry we're busy" and they just kept talking to each other in their language and made the angry lady even more upset because when she walked in the phone was still ringing and we could hear callers leaving messages. It was a horrible and a very unpleasant experience. They don't even have slippers. You have to walk barefoot after a pedi when transferring to get your mani done. I was wearing slippers when I came in but the lady carried my slippers before I could say anything. Gross. I didn't mention any names only cause I feel sorry for these employees and don't really want them to be unemployed. read more

I've been going here for several years and while the actual treatments are still good, the organization and service has gone way down. Make an appointment but still be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes to get started. Be late for your appointment by 10-15 minutes and you fall into the walk in category. They tell you it will be 10-15 minutes but meanwhile a half hour goes by with people with appointments walking in one after the other. And of course they go ahead of you. And no one even acknowledges that you're still waiting. They clearly way overbook and are not at all honest about wait times. And this is on weekday mornings! Go elsewhere. They are not worth the wait or aggravation. read more

This is the worst place I've ever been to. The service is horrible. The ladies are rude and disorganized. After we started soaking our feet they decided to move us to different chairs. Then left us there for almost 20 mins. When they finally got to our pedicures they did a really bad job and when I told them about their poor service at the end the girl at the reception got defensive and started fighting with me. I have been going to this place for about 12years. Ladies you do the math. $55.00 dollars every 3 weeks plus tip. I went in for my regular appionment but the person I always see was not in that day. Her name is Ann and she is awesome. I had Amy for my gel manicure and Tammy for my pedicure. When I picked my color they said they did not have the same shade for my toes so Tammy tried to match what was on my finger nails . to say the least it did not match. I told her I did not like it and she said no problem I will change it. When I went to pay Dominic tried to charge me for the pedicure plus a color change. I was very upset because Tammy was the one that picked the first color that I did not like. I told him I didn't feel that that was okay to charge me an extra $10.00 dollars for a color change. He got very upset and started to yell at me. Today I went in to schedule my appointment and he said your the one that we had to change your toe color five times. This man is so disrespectful and does not know what he is doing and has no Business running this place. He started to yell at Tammy today while I was at the front desk and asking her what happened at my last appointment. Tammy and Dominic started to speak a different language witch I think is very rude. And then told me to go somewhere else . Loyalty doesn't get you anywhere these days ! This man is so disrespectful to his employees and treats them like they are his slaves.everyone should feel safe and be treated with respect in a work place, I will be reporting this man for verbal abuse Towards his employees. I am first going to say that the pedicure was awesome and I would recommend, the manicure however is another story. I will say I hear if you go to Vincent he is good, but I did not get Vincent. I called 4 times in the morning (during business hours) and finally got someone to actually answer the phone so I could make an appointment I asked for a pink and white fill and in the first five minutes the woman cuts a huge gash in my pinky (btw hurt like hell, I have never had that happen while getting my nails done before) Then she proceeds to take off my nails even after I said "fill" about four times She does the acrylic over my real nails (which are not strong) and does the pink first (wtf?) so when she does the white it looks terrible and she has to file it down hardcore to make it look normal, which hurt like hell and I literally had to pull my hand away about 4 times since it felt like she was burning my fingers off. It took 2 hours! 2 hours! for a fill....I have never had it take anywhere close to that. 45 minutes, tops. It was ridic. After cutting me, taking off my nails without being asked, practically burning my fingers off, and making me sit there for two hours, I was offered no apology, no discount, and she charged me extra for taking my nails off, even though she used my real nails to continue. This was my first time here and I will never go back. I have also never written a Yelp! review but felt this service was absolutely horrible. Absolutely terrible. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and got something absolutely nothing like it. I wanted a gel french manicure with a stripe- which is pretty basic. It turned out horrible. Halfway through I stopped her to try to fix what was clearly not going to look like the picture I had shown her and she acted like her next step would fix it (which it did not). Theyre lumpy, there is blood under the clear (they cut my cuticles pretty badly), and there's gel all over my hands. I would have been okay with them telling me they couldn't do the style, but they acted like it was not a problem. Image perfection is my favorite nail salon!! I have been coming here off an on for at least 8 years. I moved from San Bruno to the city a couple years ago and tried other salons there with never the same satisfaction. I take the trip to San Bruno monthly to make sure I get taken care of the way I hope when deciding to pamper myself! It's absolutely worth it. All the ladies are great with the shellac which is what I have been getting for a couple years now. They are also the only salon I trust with eye brow waxes. Love them!! read more
