They do their best to accommodate everyone, but having an appointment definitely helps avoid waiting. Jenny and Lily were the two ladies who took care of me, and they were both excellent. I got a regular pedicure. I think it's a very standard pedicure spot, they soak your feet and exfoliate your feet and legs. I've known Linda and have been coming to Image Perfection for more than 2 decades. I needed to pamper myself and today was the day because last time I was here was last June. Well, I decided to have the volcano pedicure which Included exfoliating dead skin, lotion, paraffin and a massage. I also have skin ingrown and Fiona did an amazing job. She was gentle and didn't give up until she got them all out. Will definitely be coming back around summertime. They got new massage chairs last September and I love them. Went in a few months ago had a REAALLY BAD INGROWN NAIL I kept procrastinating to get fixed. I came to this shop on accident and will always go back. Through the irritation and screaming they kept their patience with me and helped me with my problem. Told me to come back no more than 3 weeks so they can continue to correct the nail and 6 weeks later I come back screaming and moaning on rhe chair and still they gave me my time and I never felt uncomfortable and again they helped me out with my problem. I went in today and took my girl with me and they took care of us. I've been having trouble finding a salon that does high quality acrylics since my original salon that I went to for years, unfortunately went downhill. One week ago my daughter and I went in for a manicure. We were both seated right away. My technician started working on my nails right away, while my daughters technician put acetone and foil to remove the polish and left her to attend to another client. Linda the manager kept speaking to the technician in their language. Long story short the technician never returned to help my daughter. When Linda finished with her client she started to help my daughter. Note: my daughter sat with those foils for more than 25 minutes. Two days after having gel manicure her nails started to chip. I've been coming here for a while since I work nearby. In the beginning I was pretty impressed and recommended Image Perfection to my friends/co workers. However over time, I have noticed a decline in service. I realized quickly after my first visit that it's better to call ahead to make sure they have time for you because they will not decline walk-ins. Now, that's great if you're a walk in because they will always take you but you may have to wait. Nowadays though, even when you call and book an appointment, you still sit there for 15-30 minutes. One time, I swear I sat for 30+ minutes with my feet soaking. I almost got up and left but I REALLY needed my nails done as I was going away. Yesterday I called ahead and requested an appointment for a gel manicure at 5:30, the owner's husband, Dominic (very nice, funny, always making jokes) asked if I could come in earlier. I get off at 5 so I rushed out of here to try to get there in time for a 5:15 appointment, then I sat there fore 15 minutes. Why ask me to come earlier if you're not going to be ready for me? They've always gone a good job on my nails (I'm also not very high maintenance) but I've been there and others have complained upon paying of a poor job. I think it really depends on WHO you get to do your nails. Nail art is definitely not their specialty either. I feel like this place could become better again if they figured out their staffing and scheduling problems. read more

Best pedicure I've had in years! Found them on Yelp....and after reading through the reviews I thought I'd give them a shot. The shop is clean and well designed -- it looks like they put a lot of effort into creating a calm atmosphere. It's nice and warm inside as well, which was awesome 'cause it was rainy and gross out. The spa tubs at the pedi chairs are really pretty too, made of a deep yellow colored glass. Staff is extremely friendly and I was seated right away without having to wait. The spa chairs are very comfortable and the massage things actually work. I didn't catch the name of the technician who worked on me, but she was wonderful. Took her time and didn't try to cut corners. She was gentle and thorough, and the leg/foot massage was awesome. Unlike every other place I've been in recent memory, she actually spent some time on it. I should mention their attention to sanitation as well. I watched as they cleaned a couple spa tubs in between customers -- they really got in there and scrubbed like they meant it. And all of the instruments they use are autoclaved. My tech opened the autoclave pouch right in front of me, and I saw other techs doing the same with their customers. For all this, the price was more than reasonable -- $25. I've paid more for shitty pedicures before. I will definitely keep coming here from now on. Oh! Also! At the drying station, there are snacks set out for you -- pound cake, chocolate covered nuts, crackers, and a couple other little things. Thought that was really cute. Nice touch :) read more

This was the first time I came here due to the recommendations by many family members. This place was fantastic. I never got the name of the man who did my nails but he works on Wednesday's and he was incredible. I made an appointment on the day of at about 4:30 for a full acrylic set over the phone. Very simple. I come it at 4:30 and they get me seated right away and he started prepping my nails within the first to minutes I walked in that door. He asked what colors I wanted and I showed him two different pictures and he picked the perfect color and design. I asked for just butterflies and he asked if I liked jewels. I said yes and he outdid himself. He did my whole set and I managed to leave at 5:15. My nails don't look or feel rushed at all. And his shaping was amazing, I was in awe while he was filing them down. They were kind of pricy ($70), but for the time, punctuality, and design, it was worth it. The people were super friendly and accommodating; they fit us in a tight schedule for a next day appointment. It's a clean place with at least 7 chairs for pedi and a counter station fitting about 4 mani customers. Linda did a beautiful job on my fill, making them thinner and a different color. I was very happy with the outcome, and my bf was satisfied with his pedi in the way a dude can be haha. That being said, our bill was $65 pre-tip!! $40 for a FILL even though I paid $35 for the original in Santa Clara, and $25 for a pedi without any polish??? Seems a little steep to me. I'll start with the BAD NEWS: Never, ever, ever, ever have TIFFANY or TWI to do your nails! Ugh, sigh, grunt! Showed her a picture of the design I wanted from my phone. All the design was were dots, smaller at the bottom of nail to bigger going up the nail in 2 colors. Asked her several times if she could do it. She said yes yes yes to the point of talking over me several times. Then when it came time to do it she couldn't! Just did regular polka dots which is not what I wanted. Then she made several excuses of why. "Your nails too small for the design. The circles too big for that nail. The in the picture bigger!" I'm sorry I thought you just told me 5 times that you could do the design on my nails! She then went on to complain about this to all the other workers because they ALL now started talking Vietnamese to each other back-and-forth. I then said "can I just do it myself and you not charge me for the design?" Cuz if I have to do it, I'm not gonna pay u! Her: "But you using our polish?" Me: "you're going to charge me for some dots I'm putting on myself?" Other workers gathered around to try to help her do it by giving her other design tools n the front desk guy also came n said she was putting time in doing it as well. But she wasn't even doing what I wanted! So I let her attempt to try it again because they're clearly going to charge me regardless. It looked terrible! I said "can I try to fix it now?" I tried to get it as close to what I wanted as I could. Why do nail salons not have people that can do nail designs? Or at least admit u can't do it & defer the client to the next person that can. I could have done better if I just did it from the beginning. I had to explain nail by nail what I wanted. She kept looking at me crazy. Salons need to stay updated on current trends & be able to do nail designs period! So after my nails dry she puts top coat on only the 2 nails with dots and not the rest of my nails. I tell her the other nails need top coat too and she then argues with me that she did it already when she didn't! As a matter fact I never even got a topcoat on my toes because another girl did the design on my toes n said for it to dry 1st. So when I brought this up the other girl said she did put the top coat on. I say again she didn't n and now comes the group discussion in Vietnamese again about whether or not that was done as if I'm lying about some top coat! As soon as I started saying "I have no reason to lie about having gotten topcoat or not..." another worker cuts me off saying "ok, ok we will put it on." Seriously never been treated so rudely at a nail salon. Good news: everything did look clean and sanitary. The guy apologized when I said I wasn't happy. Bad news again: He still charged me for the 2 nails! This place is also too pricey & they don't do an decent massage unless u pay for extra time or a extra package. My total for a mani/pedi, 10 min extra massage (which came to 11 mins total so a reg massage would only be 1 min), 2 toe designs, & 2 nail designs (that I didn't like) = $32 + 10 + 6 + 6 = $54. read more

Very cute little nail salon. I was coming from a bad experience at Bon Bon nail salon down El Camino and decided to give image perfection a go. I was greeted without having to "check-in" And instantly helped. I love that they use hot towels and warm massage cream. Some places jip you by cutting out the massage if you get gel nails.. however, image perfection did not! I loved my nails and the service. The only recommendation I would say is that they forgot to turn the massage chair on :( if I'm paying $75 for a gel mani pedi I would like to make sure I get 100% of my service! :) read more
