Image Eyecare is great. Conveniently located at Oakridge Mall, so I get down to some shopping. They are open seven days a week, so we can definitely get in there some time. The staff there is really friendly and knowledgeable. Although they have some high end designer frames, my husband selected his first pair of glasses there. He could not be happier with their service. Through trial and error we found two great pairs. They are knowledgeable (better than most) at working with insurance companies. I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses for over 22 years and the team at Image Eyecare is far the best. I highly suggest making an appointment on the weekends, or you will be waiting :) The three optometrists we used there have been knowledgeable and work really hard to give you the right prescription. My experience is that Dr. Nguyen is one of the finest eye doctors I have ever worked with and I have a lot of experience. Her prescriptions are accurate and she's one of those doctors who is down-to-Earth and has genuine concern about patients. (I use the plural because I have referred people to her, and the experience has been consistent in that regard). Her office staff does a good job of follow-up, and over years of working with Image Eyecare, insurance, payment and office operations have always been handled professionally and without issue. The office is always clean. There's a good selection of frames, and they are upscale in quality. More important, I've had great experiences with their lab. I am a very picky customer where lens quality is concerned. I look for edge balancing; I double check parameters, such as astigmatism axis ; I carefully check coatings and fitment into frames. And, I have a challenging prescription. Image Eyecare has been excellent at managing requirements, quality and working with their labs. The lenses have held up very well. The facility is very sophisticated with electronic forms and they were very organized and hygeinic, sanitizing all the glasses and helping me find a good replacement for my glasses. ALWAYS NOT ON TIME!! Triple booked doctor!! Not enough protection on patients privacy!! Forgot to leave the prescription to patients!! - not on time I always come here 10 mins before my appointment but can't get in until 25 mins after!!!!! This happens no matter they are busy or not. - triple booked During my contact lens fitting period, the doctor sees another two patients. She doesn't have time to exam me carefully and also to the other patients. - not enough protection on patients privacy I can see other patients record when I'm in the exam room. Because she is triple booked and uses my exam time to exam other patients. She may be in a hurry and forget to close other patients records. This makes me feel unsafe to come to this location again. - I also want to say after the exams, they forgot to get my prescription. The doctor can be busy but it seems like the staffs are also very unprofessional too. I have to go to the location again to get it. read more

I went to this office to have my eyes checked. They had a new machine that asked me to test my eye and lying if I dont take that picture I may get blind. I found out later thats just their trick to make money of each client there. After that picture was taken I was sent yo see doctir, she checked my eyes number for glasses for almost an hour and gave me a prescription, I asked what about that picture, she was not even aware of that and told me its great you did that. I can check that later and never that happened.it was closing time and I couldn't check the frames so I went back another they. They had me try frames with that prescription and my eyes was hurting. so i was sent back to see doctor in her room, she checked my eyes and came up with totally different numbers and told me she doesnt know why numbers are changed in 2days, So it was obviousley clear that she made mistake but didnt say that. agsin I was sent to front desk for frames. they ordered me a frame for the double price. I checked same frame same brand for half price in other stores. So not only I didnt get the correct number for my eyes they also charged me for glass and frane which i never get chance to get. Today they emailed me invoice and threatened me with collection agancy if I dont pay for sth that I never got from them. I told my freind the story and she wished I did tell her earlier cause she didnt allow me going there since the same thing happened to her sister. So this place is not a doctor office its a retail store to sell you and they get your credit card info in advance to charge you. Be carful with them. read more

First impression was fantastic. Clean store with a pretty good selection. The staff was friendly and helpful but everything went down hill from there. After receiving my new glasses I had noticed a smudge on the lense that would not come off. I brought the glasses back into the store and, of course, no one could see it. After explaining to them it was there and them not seeing it I left and tried to catch it in a photo. By the time I returned there was an even larger smudge (that I photographed) that they could finally see. Apparently it was an issue with the anti-glare coating. The new lenses were ordered, put in, then I realized they were 2-2.5xs thicker than the original lenses. When I addressed this issue with multiple employees they all said that they're not thicker and they ordered the same exact lenses. Never mind that these glasses have been on my face for a month and I know that they are thicker. Anyway, deciding to drop it since no one would listen to me, now the glasses are sliding off my face when I am at work, cooking, shopping, etc. (since the lenses are heavier). I went back in to get them tightened (since they wouldn't look into my issue). I didn't find out until the next day (when I called to tell them my frames were cracked) that my original frames had be broken in the tightening process. I was given "new" cracked frames and was expected to pay a 25$ fee for using my warranty when they ordered a replacement. I went back into the store to better understand why I needed to pay 25$ to replace a cracked frame (that I was constantly reminded were "new") that replaced a frame they broke in the first place. Not to mention that they apparently waived the 25$ fee to replace my lenses when they messed up on the coating as well. Overall, this place is more of a hassle than it's worth. They were friendly and helpful until I had issues then they turned curt and rude. If my glasses were fine the first time I would have given five stars but after going back over five times and dealing with the dwindling customer service, I can't. read more

Overall ok office. It was local to our house. Eye glasses are reasonable. But everything else was very pricy. Can somebody tell me when it was OK to have a staff with chest tattoos? It's gross. One of the ladies has one that looks like they tried to get it removed but stopped. I'm all for jobs that allow you to sport your tattoos. But can you cover up ones on your chest. Classy not trashy! Overall, a pretty meh and overpriced experience. Was quoted a lower price over the phone for a contacts exam and got charged $20 more after the exam for a total of around $110. Exam only took like 15 minutes. Nothing special about it. Although you get a small rebate from the manufacturer, this place charges full price for contacts. Glasses were quite overpriced too. Even with VSP co-pay, ended up paying over $200 out of pocket here for just an exam and contacts. Factoring my VSP premiums, it was ~$310 total for a contacts exam and a year's supply of contacts. I don't even want to think about how much it would have been if I got glasses here too. Would have been hundreds more. Save yourself the money and just go to Walmart for a $90 glasses + contacts exam and purchase the contacts online at a cheaper price. Might just not opt for VSP next year and do that. Would save at least $70-80. read more

Found this eye doctor while desperately trying to get contacts last year. Dr. Kim has been the only doctor to diagnose my dry eyes properly and her suggestions have been invaluable to my comfort and eye health. Their service is always fast and they care about their customers. I never feel pressured to buy the expensive glasses in this place either, all of the associates are happy to help quote you and then let you walk away. I love this Optometry! I've been coming here for a few years now and they are just amazing here. I always see Dr. Nguyen, who is great! She's thorough, patient, kind and very knowledgeable. My last visit I seen Dr. Hassan, she was also very kind and knowledgeable. It's really great that both doctors are very amazing! Highly recommend this place. I will not recommend it. I went here first time since it was close to my place. I filled all the necessary info required online. I have to again fill that information again on my appointment day. I spent some time time for online and on appointment day to re fill all the info. The techinician was not able to take picture of right eye cornea exam and optometrist told her that is fine. Since they were running late for my appointment, on top of that optometrist did not prescribed right glasses. Since they did not take right eye picture so she did not prescribed me right number. I came to know when I got the glasses and I wore it and they seems to be very high power on right eye. Which was creating problems. read more

I came into this optometry place a few months ago when it was necessary to get glasses and I had difficulties deciding which frame to get. Well ever since then, I've been having dreams about these glasses and decided to brave the mall today to get them. Given that my insurance would only cover a slight chunk of these glasses, I had to think about it for a bit to make sure I wouldn't have buyers remorse. The gentleman that helped me was beyond wonderful. None of the people there are pushy "sales persons" that pressure you into buying anything. Service like that nowadays is priceless and hard to come by. Parking at the mall can be horrific, but if you park nearby sears and walk a bit they're located nearby Macy's. Hands down probably the best experience I had with an optometry place. When I first walked in, there was no wait, I was given forms right away and no time was wasted. The lady at the desk greeted me as soon as I walked in, and as I was waiting for the doctor, she engaged in conversation and let me check out some frames. ONE THING I DO WANNA MENTION-- they do NOT upsell or push you to buy the most expensive stuff-- such a relief! They try to help and pick out what LOOKS GOOD for your face shape. Thassit. They also have a RANGE of brands---Tom Ford, Versace, D&G, Fendi, SF, Tiffany's, Ray Bans, etc...they also have the mid to more affordable brands as well. I noticed a lot of other offices don't carry luxury brands, so I was glad that they carry a huge range. And stylish, too! Dr. Nguyen is approachable and warm. She explained everything as we went through the process and made me feel like a cared person. In the past, OTHER doctors have made me feel like cattle-- doesn't say much, does their thing, in-and-out, never hear from them again. We had a conversation about contacts I normally use, and educated me on different types, base curves, etc... she's educational, and I felt like I understood more of what's going on. She got the power set perfectly for my eyes...no more doubting or thinking, "Is this the right setting for sure?" She let me know which type of frames would suit best aesthetically and also according to the type of lens I was getting(I have horrible eyesight so the lens will be a bit thicker than normal). As I was trying on frames with an associate, she popped in to make sure I understood everything and to make sure I was doing ok. So fab! In regards to the associate who helped me check out frames-- he was super helpful and also nice. I can be a bit of a pain in the ass with my indecisiveness, but nevertheless he was patient with me and gave me his honest opinion. He's very professional, and explained the breakdown of the pricing to me clearly. Also answered all of my questions. Definitely happy about choosing this office as my optometry place. This is my second time around going to image eye care. I really like Dr. Mahajerani. She is very attentive and was patient, taking the time to explain different aspects of my prescription. At the front desk, Hosai suggested different frames to fit my face. More so, she brought a pair to my attention that I would not have normally picked out for myself. I ended up going with those. With out a doubt this is one of the worst places to get glasses. I had an exam in Dec of 2012 that seemed rushed and awkward. Dr. J stumbled over words and kept running in and out of the room. After the exam they showed me the high end glasses, then the cheeper ones and when I asked about the glasses for the $90 all included sale that they had when I made my appointment they told me "oh we stopped that months ago", even thow I had make the appointment just that last week. After I paid way to much for glasses and was told they would be in in about 5-7 work days. so after 10 days I called and asked about them and was told "they should be in any day now" so I waited 2 more days and called and was told "they will be in soon" and 2 more days after that I was told "you can stop calling, we will let you know when they are in". Not only is that rude, but i is also not good work ethic. After 5 weeks, count them 5, I walked in ready to demand my money when I was told "oh they got here yesterday" and was given a pair of what turned out to be the worst glasses I have ever had to date. they didnt fit right, didn't sit right, and broke after 6 weeks.flash forword to 5 mouths later I decide to get some glasses through a website my friend told me about. all in all they were $50 for 2 pair of much better glasses. when I called Image eyecare to get my PD number (how far your pupals are from your nose) they asked me "we dont put that on your perscription?" and after being on hold for a few moments the woman comes back and says "60, its 60" and I said oh ok and got hung up on. now I go and talk to another eye doc and he tells me, "that cant be right" and sure enough, they were wrong as wrong can be. my advise people, get your exam done elsewhere and get your glasses from one of the websites out there. read more

I am so amazed at the professionalism and the help I received. I found them on Yelp and was so thankful that I found them. My daughter broke her glasses on Saturday and I had spare glasses but in my attempt to change out the lenses I got worried that they might break further...UGHH!! Apparently you need a special tool to replace the arm on these glasses as well..double fooey!! Even though I did not buy the glasses from this store they did the service and did not charge me!
