Came in today and got a new pair of glasses! Natalie who helped me was amazing! She gave me good pointers tips and help me pick that a frame that fit with my face structure. Great customer service and very helpful. I found a new place where I'll be getting my glasses forever. Thank you. read more

This is to respond Dr. Khanh's comment to my review. Why can't you talk to me on the phone? I requested to talk to you but was put on hold for a while until I had to hang up to get back to work. Today (9/12) when I called for the update on my glasses, I was told someone (I don't want to name names yet) would contact me. Yet, no one called me. It's been two days short of two weeks for that rush order, but I'm still waiting. My eye appointment was on 8/8. It's been more than a month. I still don't have a pair of glasses to see clearly in the distance. I wore my super old glasses for a big presentation. I have a trip coming up, and I'm worried that I won't get my glasses in time. read more

I had a great experience at Image. I called and made an appt to get glasses. I brought my own prescription. When i arrived i needed to be buzzed in. The experience was pleasant and they had a wide selection of frames. When my glass came in 2 weeks later, I made an appt to pick them up, made sure the fit was good. Loved them. Simple. read more

Very responsive to my needs. I had a lot of questions and they were patient with me. Natalie was exceptionally helpful. I'm so glad I chose by ratings. read more

I came here because the glasses and contacts I had prior did not give me clear vision. I was recommended this place by someone. The technician that helped me was really helpful and nice her names Joanna. Dr Nguyen was also very informative and kind and i enjoyed the service from everyone. The staff here are all really friendly and helpful. Gloria helped me choose really nice frames and i got my glasses after a week and when I put them on I was shocked! I hadn't seen this clear in ages and they are definitely a lot clear than the glasses I got from a different place. Wow! I am coming back here for contacts as well so i am excited for that. read more

I've been here twice and each time the doctor has been attentive and patient. Definitely plan to continue going here for my annual check ups. read more

Don't go there without appointment! They'll straight up look at you through their glass doors and won't even acknowledge you or pretend you're not even standing there. They won't open the door or even acknowledge you unless you have an appointment. We were standing there at the door knocking and calling the phone number it asks us to call and never answered even though we were standing right OUTSIDE looking at them straight from outside! Stereotyped us for sure! Right when we gave up and walked away, another family walked up to the door and got immediately attention! Rude staff!!!! Latino staff who don't have manners! Boycott them! And will only take care of you if you come in with the intention of buying. Never going there AGAIN!!! read more

My whole family has been coming to Image Eyecare for years. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Dr. Nguyen was been particularly incredible. She has given us such good care and is very knowledgeable. She has helped my son throughout the stages he's gone through a detached retina in one eye, then a couple of years later, cataracts in the other. She has been an angel helping us find the best option for his complicated situation! She has given us the good advice always. My son's vision is stable now. read more

Very kind workers! I'm not sure why there are so many "bad reviews" about the doors being locked and everything. In my experience they reminded me to call to be let in multiple times. I feel safer that the door is locked too cause on my way over I heard two homeless people fighting and yelling so it makes sense for their doors to be locked. Besides that everything was great from the eye exam to picking my glasses. I have a hard time picking glasses cause of my bad self esteem and the lady that helped me pick them out made me feel so confident. Very happy with this experience :) read more

I would say this is the best eye doctor and clinic I've ever been. Dr. Nguyen and staffs are such sweethearts. I started going to this clinic since April this year since I'm pretty new to the Bay area. I always had a great experience every time I come in, no complaints at all! Staffs are always friendly and welcoming. Dr. Nguyen is very competent and knowledgeable to what she's doing. I'm very grateful that she's taking good care of me. She takes her time and informative, she goes in details when she is trying to explain stuff. You can tell that their # 1 priority is patient's safety and satisfaction. Got my vision correction in June from a different provider and I still see Dr. Nguyen for all my post ops and other medical visits. I had so many complications after my surgery but I'm so grateful to have a doctor who I can trust so I can recover and heal faster. read more

I was recommended to come here for all my optical needs. We went on a Tuesday and it looked empty. The lady (older lady with short hair) refused to open the door when we knocked. We had to call the phone number for her to finally come to the door. She immediately turned us away saying we need an appointment to just look at frames. She didn't offer to schedule an appointment for us or give us a better time to come back. She quickly shut the door on us. We get better customer service at Costco Optometry. read more

My family and I have been going to Image Eyecare for 10 years and have always had excellent experiences. Super easy to schedule an appointment. Staff were very nice and helpful with checking us in, pre-testing, and helping us with our eye wear selections. I particularly appreciate their policy of keeping the front door locked at all times to ensure the safety of their customers, staff, and properties. My family loves Dr Nguyen as she is always so gentle, caring, and knowledgeable. I have referred many of my relatives and friends to them over the years. I highly recommend Image Eyecare if you're looking for high quality eye care services. read more

Made an appointment for a first time customer. The day before the appointment, I got a phone call asking me to change appointment date and time. Extremely frustrating and inconvenient! If this is how you treat first time customers I am not interested anymore. read more

Had an awesome experience going to Image Eyecare for my annual check up. They are very responsive with the appointment setting, and reminded me the day before the appointment. When I got there, they quickly greeted me and I only waited one minute. Dr. Hwang was very patient. She explained everything, including what tests she was doing and why she was doing them. Ultimately, I didn't have any issues (thank goodness). Natalie helped me with the glasses. She explained clearly how much each option would cost, and told me what my out of pocket would be. There were no hidden fees or anything. I'll be waiting to get my glasses in a few weeks! This will be my go-to as long as I live around here. read more

Despite the issues with the other staff, Dr. Nguyen was very nice and apologized for the incorrect prescription from the temporary doctor, and offered to have me come back in to have another exam free-of-charge. She was very friendly and thorough with the exam, but I still can only leave 3 stars due to the other inexcusable issues mentioned in my original review. read more

I am a first timer!! I received SUCH amazing service from the staff at Image EyeCare Optometry!! Everything from the Pre Screening Check-in, to the frame shopping and my actual eye exam, everything was superb. Everyone was so kind and front desk really made sure to cover all posible questions and they were very knowledgeable about their frames, prices and insurance coverage. I got a very clear plan as soon as I arrived. The Doctor was so kind and very educational. She explained in detail what I was experiencing and how I could benefit from a prescription. I honestly am looking forward to my next visit in the following year. read more

I have been here 2 times for Eye Exam- my son is coming back next week and it has been a great experience. I love the Dr, she spends time to explain everything. My son has diabetes and she explained to him the dangers and to be proactive. Kids don't always listen to parents so I liked her approach. I recommend the center. Follow us is fantastic and the staff is very helpful. Too bad they have been a victim of thieves- thats why they lock door. read more

The Dr & staff are very professional and very caring. I really appreciate the care they provide to me & my family.

The business owner responded to my review asking me to call for more details. Well I called. I spoke with Natalie; she stood behind the disclaimer and offer me a 20% discount off the cost of a new pair of Oakley frames. I rejected the offer as I will not spend one dollar to replace something that the employee broke, disclaimer or not! I'm done with Image eye care , unless they fully compensate for read more

My experience here was nothing short of amazing! Beginning with my initial call to schedule an appointment as a new patient, Gloria was extremely nice and helpful in looking up my insurance and scheduling me within the same week. Upon arrival I was greeted by her and she walked me back to meet with Samantha who helped with pretesting. She was very nice, patient and thoroughly explained each test she was doing. Next was my visit with Dr Nguyen, can't say enough great things about her! She is extremely knowledgeable and was able to help correct my astigmatism with contact lenses, my previous location told me that I could only use glasses to correct this. I was beyond excited to know that I can see now! I also found out I have a condition called keratoconus which she took time to educate me on, gave me a recommendation for a specialist, and advised me to visit to try to prevent further progression. Lastly, I went to pick out my glasses and was helped by Natalie. She was so helpful I've never had anyone actually help me find glasses that fit my facial features even helped me find a color that complimented my skin tone. She was super sweet and I couldn't be happier with my visit to this place. So glad I finally found a new Dr I can be confident in seeing in the future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! read more

This is one of the weirdest businesses I have experienced. The two stars are for the really nice optometrist, Mr. Nguyen. But I went to pick something up, and while the shop said it was open, the doors were locked. I knocked on the door. Two times, pretty loudly. Then I pressed my face to the glass and saw two women's heads, poking above this desk in the back of the store. So I knocked again and said loudly, "I can see you both!" Then, one of them, reluctantly, came to the door and let me in to pick up my items. I suspect that one or both of those women are related to the owner, based on how rude they felt they could be. I called another time to pick something up and they said they couldn't possibly fit me in without an appointment. I just needed to pick something up! not inclined to go back. read more

This is now my second time visiting Image Eyecare and the second time was just as pleasant as the first even during covid. The office is super clean and the staff takes all the precautions necessary. They have you call in prior to going into the office to complete a covid health attestation, they check your temperature at the door, and they have hand sanitizer available throughout the office. The staff is really good about disinfecting all the stations. Dr. Nguyen is the best eye doctor I have ever visited. She is very patient and kind. She really helps you understand and answers all your questions. read more

I left a bit confused and shocked. I have been shopping around the for Ray Bans new wayfarer prescription glasses. I have been purchasing the same lenses for 4 years and thought I would try this new place closer to home. For the exact same frames that usually cost me from 150-200, they quoted me somewhere around 370, without the prescription lenses. I asked if that could be a mistake as these glasses are always the same price everywhere I go, including the Ray Ban website itself. They said that sometimes if it's polarized it's more expensive, but having bought these before I know they are 50$ more for the polarized version. I am really curious where they got the 350+ price for these frames? read more

Dr. Nguyen is the best. She's patient and get's you the right prescription. The staff is curteous. You can't go wrong here!

Gloria from Image Eyecare Optometry was very helpful today fixing my glasses I had bought there a while back. She quickly replaced pads, tightened screws, made necessary adjustments, and got it right at the first shot, all as a favor. Thank you! read more

Just had our second round of eye exams. The staff is super friendly. Dr Nguyen is very thorough in her eye exam. She showed me before and after to see how my prescription was changing. She cared to make sure that the prescription wasn't too strong. Laughed at my terrible dad jokes. What more could you ask for? Staff wasn't pushy with regards to purchasing. They were very accommodating and were helpful in finding frames that were better fits/etc. The Covid19 precautions made us feel safe during our shopping. Forms were a little confusing but the staff was helpful when we had questions. read more

5 stars all the way: front desk, back office, and optometrist! Very impressed. They explained everything and i didnt feel pressured. I will be bringing my family there from now on! read more

I like this place. Staff are so nice and efficient. My first pair of glasses works perfectly. This will be my place.

To be very honest with you no one really cares about you as a patient in this office. Sometimes the doctor is not even in the office so I'm not sure how it's operating. If you're not willing to spend hundreds of dollars here they have no compassion towards you. Not coming back. Also, the two ladies at the front always have a attitude. I recommend taking your coffees in the morning so you can speak to the patient in the more gentle manner read more

Office staff and assistants where awsome. Dr.Kim was great. I plan on bringing my family soon!

Overall, a pretty meh and overpriced experience. Was quoted a lower price over the phone for a contacts exam and got charged $20 more after the exam for a total of around $110. Exam only took like 15 minutes. Nothing special about it. Although you get a small rebate from the manufacturer, this place charges full price for contacts. Glasses were quite overpriced too. Even with VSP co-pay, ended up paying over $200 out of pocket here for just an exam and contacts. Factoring my VSP premiums, it was ~$310 total for a contacts exam and a year's supply of contacts. I don't even want to think about how much it would have been if I got glasses here too. Would have been hundreds more. Save yourself the money and just go to Walmart for a $90 glasses + contacts exam and purchase the contacts online at a cheaper price. Might just not opt for VSP next year and do that. Would save at least $70-80. read more

They are rude and they don't even want to let you in to look at frames I won't be going back there

I've been receiving treatment from Dr. Nguyen since Image Eyecare was operating out of Oakridge Mall and I've had nothing but positive experiences. She is super sweet, helpful and always answers all of my questions. The rest of the staff are also super nice! I broke my glasses frames a week after getting them and the staff helped me fix them really quickly. Love this place! read more

the world according to noelle ~2012~ Image Eyecare Optometry is located in Oakrdige Mall (between Macy's and the food court). Inside one will note the extensive selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses. They carry designer brands like Tiffany & Company, Burberry, Juicy Couture. They also carry other eyeglasses brands as well. I've been seeing Dr. Mahajerani since she first opened up shop in Oakridge Mall which was nearly ten years ago. Dr. Mahajerani is smart, considerate and kind. Over the years this has been my one stop shop for eyeglasses and contact lenses. Ages ago, when I didn't have eye insurance I came to Image Eyecare. Do note that from time to time they run specials for people without eye insurance which makes eyeglasses and contacts affordable. Currently, I have eye insurance. Came here recently for an eyeglass and contact lenses exam. It turns out I have an astigmatism. I was able to find a beautiful pair of Tiffany and Company eyeglasses and get contact lenses (one daily) which worked out just fine. Dr. Mahajerani and her staff are always working hard to take care of their patients. I'm glad that I've found an optometrist and staff that I trust with my eye care needs, I highly recommend Image Eyecare Optometry to all my family and friends. Noelle's Notes Dr. Mahajerani is a wonderful optometrist! Great location inside Oakrdige Mall. read more
