Eddie(actually name Eduardo Perez) charged me $275 but did NOT fix any of my electrical issues. ZERO, NADA, ZILCH!! He did the bare minimum to cancel a wire and reconnected them, took him 30 minutes MAX. Less than 1 hour after he left, the same symptoms came back, I called him and told him he didn't fix the problems, he said he will come back but he will charge me another $200 for the "service call", and that's NO guarantee he's gonna solve the problem either!! I can't afford to keep on throwing, who knows how many more, $200 to the toilet drain. So I had to hire another electrician to solve the problems. The new electrician told me, Eddie didn't even notice, not to mention solve, the basic and 1st foremost important problem, which is, the voltage on the bus-bar it's not steady!!! After the new electrician fixed my issues, I messaged Eddie for some refund, I told him since he didn't solve the issue, but I was still willing to pay for his time and gas and the breakers. He got into a big'O fight with me , not only he declined any refund, but also he threatened me that he's going to go to my house and take off the breakers and reverse the good job that my other electrician has done!!! He also threathened me he'll make my life miserable! This is unbelievable, coming from a so called "licensed" professional! This guy has no ethics! not to mention the basic electric knowledge. After going through the so-called good reviews here in details, I realized, those are only baby/ newbie jobs, like install a light or a fan , which is a no-brainer. I can do a better job than him! So if you plan on hiring him diagnose and troubleshooting and solve any issues, don't dream on him, RUN!!!!

We had two security cameras (with motion sensors) that needed to be hard wired from a non outlet location. Others quoted me $150-300+ more than David did. I was skeptical of his estimate as others kept telling me there's no way any one could do the job for under a certain amount. David showed up RIGHT ON TIME. I showed him the areas and he went right to work. No fuss, no complaints. I didn't feel the need to check on his work as I trusted he would notify me of any issues (which he did once when he showed me an area he had to cut differently due to wall studs). The cameras were installed cleanly and looks professional! I was even more impressed that he thoroughly cleaned up each area (with a vacuum i think too) when he was finished. I had asked for a landscape lighting repair quote and he diagnosed it pretty much for free (I'm hiring him to come back to replace quite a few broken lights). We hired him to come back to install recessed lighting and a ceiling fan in a ceiling that had no outlets/wires. His prices are really so reasonable. He also worked on our landscape lights that had not worked in so many years. The entire job took almost all day and he worked tirelessly. He did leave for a lunch break but came back. I am in love with the recessed lighting and kicking myself for not having it done sooner. The room is brighter and feels so much more alive. Yesterday I was trying to replace two sets of 3-way switches in two different gang boxes with new…read moreSmart Switches. I was able to do the smart switches on the load side, but when I got to the gang box that had the line hot connections for both, the directions became a little fuzzy. I had four wires and the smart remote switches had three screws. The directions just were not clear enough and it was getting dark, so I said epic fail and wired the old switches back on. This morning I decided to call/text four electronics. While waiting for them to reply back, I was looking over the instructions and finally realized that you had to wire up the common and 1st traveler on black screw. I was ready to try again then John replied back to my text. He mentioned his hourly rate and that he can be at my house in five minutes. Since he could be here so quickly and his rate was extremely resonable, I decided to go with him to wire the switches up. He was here promptly and when I went over what I was replacing and where I started having a problem with the instructions, he did agree it looked a little confusion. He did a bang up job in no time flat. He wired all four switches within the hour and the work I saw was top notch. It was well worth the money for him to finish the job within the hour. The best thing is that I now have a recommendation for electric work that is local in Poway. If I ever need any more intensive jobs, John will be the first person I call. Even if you are a DIY person, if you don't have time, since time is precious or you just don't want to do it, call John.
