But he updated our estimates a few times over the course of our conversations through yelp to get down to just what we wanted. He also didn't try to push us for upgrades or anything like some trades or business owners are known to do, so that it would work within our budget. Great work from Chris and Justin who took care of my dual meter and 200amp service upgrade project for my rental property that I added a detached ADU. They did all the scheduling with SDG&E and city inspector. Their work passed the city inspection and now I got my 2 meters and a subpanel inside the garage that they transferred all the circuit from the old panel. They also gave me the lowest bid out of 5 contractors I contacted. Very professional and have all the materials ready when all the other contractors telling me that what I needed for the project are backordered. I always get three estimates for any job I have done on my house. I look for good reviews, value, licensing and warranty and McWay Electric fit the bill. One major pet peeve of mine is unresponsive customer service. Though, McWay was a little more expensive, I did get a discount, than who I originally chose, I went with this company because they actually got back to me. I am still waiting for the call from the other company they said they would give me. Luckily, this was not an urgent matter. Chris arrived on the time slot agreed upon and finished the work promptly.
