Great work from Chris and Justin who took care of my dual meter and 200amp service upgrade project for my rental property that I added a detached ADU. They did all the scheduling with SDG&E and city inspector. Their work passed the city inspection and now I got my 2 meters and a subpanel inside the garage that they transferred all the circuit from the old panel. They also gave me the lowest bid out of 5 contractors I contacted. Very professional and have all the materials ready when all the other contractors telling me that what I needed for the project are backordered. Have used them twice once to do a stop gap fix due to our kitchen microwave being on the same circuit as basically the whole house. They were able to get the fix in so I could live until we could put the microwave on its own circuit. I always get three estimates for any job I have done on my house. I look for good reviews, value, licensing and warranty and McWay Electric fit the bill. One major pet peeve of mine is unresponsive customer service. Though, McWay was a little more expensive, I did get a discount, than who I originally chose, I went with this company because they actually got back to me.
