I walked in a bit early so another stylist took a stab at my hair (and spent about 10-15 minutes working on it) before my assigned stylist took over - after about 10-15 minutes, she asked me if it's OK to use a curling iron...of course I said "yes" knowing it was gonna end up that way...her manager also approved using it without charging me extra because she also saw how much trouble both stylists had with my hair... I'm glad I at least gave them a try so I know they can't meet the needs of my hair (without paying extra for curling iron)!

The hairstylist she brought with her (Jo) was also perfect! 2) The make-up and hair looked good ALL NIGHT!! I even looked good at the hotel bar AFTER the wedding! 3) Stacie was able to adapt to changing circumstances. Technical skills are great, but if you can't get the job done in time, it is for naught. Stacie and Jo arrived at the hotel over 30 minutes early (because they know how important the big day is, and they didn't want to be late if they got lost) and they got started right away. Timing wise, they had planned everything perfectly. However, there were some bumps in the road from my wedding party on the big day: one person who had adamantly said that she did not want make-up decided that she did indeed want make-up, and then numerous people showed up with wet hair. Not only did they STILL manage to get everyone done on time, both Stacie and Jo were such good sports about the whole thing. 4) The pricing was extremely fair: if anything, it was a bit of a steal given how great of a job they did and how wonderful they were to work with. 5) Stacie (and Jo) are just lovely women. Before meeting them, I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of having to do a trial hair and make-up run, but I actually had SO MUCH FUN with them!! And having them around when we were getting ready for the wedding just made everything better: they were just lots of fun and put everyone at ease. EVERYONE in the bridal party commented about how much they loved Stacie and Jo. I have had my hair and make-up done before, but I have never had such a good experience. My daughter came in excited to have her hair styled for her pre-engagement dinner--a day when she should have felt beautiful, confident, and celebrated. Instead, the stylist repeatedly criticized the hairstyle she wanted, telling her that it was "just a trend" and that she should choose something "timeless" instead. Rather than listening to what my daughter wanted, she was made to feel uncomfortable and unsure of herself. She was too intimidated to continue speaking up and ultimately left the salon with a hairstyle she disliked. It was heartbreaking to see her so upset on a day that should have been filled with happiness. My daughter-in-law had a similarly disappointing experience. She was confident enough to advocate for the look she wanted, yet instead of respecting her preferences, the staff referred to her as "too demanding." In fact, one of your staff members even said to me, "Your daughter-in-law is too demanding." I found that comment highly unprofessional and inappropriate. A client who clearly communicates her preferences is not being demanding--she is simply expressing what she would like for a special event. The purpose of visiting a professional salon is to receive expert service while also feeling heard, respected, and cared for. Personal opinions about a client's taste should never be imposed, nor should clients be made to feel judged for requesting the style they envision. What should have been a joyful part of our family's pre-engagement celebration became an upsetting experience that affected both of these young women. I hope you take this feedback seriously and remind your staff that professionalism includes listening to clients, respecting their choices, and ensuring they leave feeling confident rather than discouraged.

She came early and did her job well. The one star is because of the other artist who did not bring her makeup. Yes, you read that right. The makeup artist did not bring her makeup kit other than some foundation and setting spray. The experience was so poor it greatly outweighed any positives we experienced with the other artist. Rather than taking care of it herself, she went around asking two other makeup artists we hired from another company if she could use their makeup supplies. That created an uncomfortable environment because they were put in a difficult spot of rightfully not wanting to lend their professional supplies to a stranger, but also not wanting to make it a bigger scene on someone's wedding if they said no. I had to pause my own bridal makeup and hair session to try to find any makeup I had around my parent's house she could use. I think about an hour in was when she finally decided to Doordash some makeup when she should have done that the moment she realized she didn't bring her supplies. She started the first bridesmaid makeup at 7:30 and at 9:30 (which was our planned end time) she had still not finished. We moved onto the second bridesmaid's hair at 9:30 and that seemed to go a lot smoother luckily. When the Doordash order came, there was no lipstick because I guess the store was out of stock of the shade she chose. The makeup artist also did not seem to have much experience or perhaps she was so nervous that she could not do makeup the way she normally might because I heard them trying work on her eyeliner for about 20 minutes due to it repeatedly not coming out right and saw the makeup artist asking a lot of questions when most could probably be figured out just by looking at the makeup inspo picture. It was also uncomfortable that she went into detail about forgetting her makeup kit because she recently started seeing a doctor for ADHD and started new medication 1 month ago. I don't think this is something she needed to share with us. One of my bridesmaid said during her session several different TMI excuses were brought up as well. Ultimately, we left at 10:10am, 40 minutes later than planned, with one bridesmaid still unsatisfied with her makeup (we could not wait any longer) and the other bridesmaids uncomfortable with her lack of professionalism. I'm sure there were likely other things that went wrong. These are just the things I noticed as the bride who was busy getting her makeup and hair done myself. I did hear from a bridesmaid that we would not be getting charged for her services, but I did not hear this myself directly or received any communication from bfab about this experience.

I tend to get painful ingrown nails, so I'm always nervous, but she was so gentle and made me feel completely comfortable. The massage, hot stones, and warm towels were so relaxing. SHE IS MY RIDE OR DIE! Natalie has been doing my have for nearly ten years now. Her services are exceptional! She has taken me blonde, short, hot pink and all in-between. What keeps me coming back every time is that her work requires little maintenance because of how talented she is! No one at reception desk, a few stylists looked up, but no one helped me. 4. Sat down. 5. Left to purchase a beverage. 6. Returned 2 minutes till 4pm. 7. Waited till 4:02pm, same response, no one acknowledged me. 8. 4:03pm, fed up and left in search for another salon. I don't care HOW busy you are, someone needs to step away from their client for 10 seconds, to let the client waiting know someone will be right with them. Cut/style $65. NOTHING is cute or chic about this salon.

She was recommended to me by a friend and still today, I wouldn't even think to go to anyone else! I can count on Mariola to work her wizardry every time I come in for a cut. I remember her telling me one day, that each time she cuts my hair, it might be just a tad bit different. She looks at my face, the current length. She asks questions, even today...were the bangs too long last time? Do want this part shorter, etc? She takes to a haircut, the way an artist might take to a canvas and she enjoys the process. It may take a little longer to finish, but she's a perfectionist and I'm totally okay with that. The finished look is always bright and refreshing. She is up with trends, and yet knows all the classic styles as well. Being an artist myself, I let her do whatever she wants with my hair. She truly loves to create something great and she does, every time! My friends and family are still commenting on my cute haircut. I happily tell them, Mariola is still doing my hair! She's even able to work with gobs of white strands, making it look cool to be older and not coloring my hair. We joke about that...maybe someday I will. He asked thoughtful questions to get the clearest idea of what I wanted and even explained his process of how he would get us there.
