I chose Mayra based on how gentle she is, & figuring it was my first time getting lashed since 2022, I wanted to make sure I was in good hands. I definitely was - Mayra was extremely gentle & knowledgeable. I went in for the new client special (natural wet set) & she helped to enhance the length to where it was still natural but noticable. Im so happy I finally booked & I'll be back for a fill within the 2 week window! The vibe here is chill & spa-like. No chit chat & silenced devices!!

Zara is so sweet and does amazing work!…read more The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because their front desk girl (who is also one of the reviewers on this page) has an awful attitude. Update 10/25/2026: Business decided to block me from booking without saying a word. After coming to Zara every single week since I started coming here you would think they would actually have a conversation with me about this. Completely unprofessional and ungrateful. this is also coming directly after they tried to cancel my appt on me at the last minute last week. They will charge you if you cancel at the last minute though. Lost a loyal customer today. Editing to add: if that context was appropriate then the business would have been happy to share :) they completely mishandled things with a loyal, weekly customer, did not communicate properly, and were frustrated when I had to come in to get my lashes fixed within just days of my fills because I was left with huge gaps in my lashes ;) there is your additional context. If you want quality lashes and professionalism, go elsewhere.

Christina at Chateau Luxe is truly amazing! I am so happy I found her!…read moreI am spending the summer in Newport Beach and desperately needed a lash artist while away from home. I was instantly sold after reading the many wonderful reviews about Christina and her lash artistry. Christina was incredibly patient and helpful, taking a lot of time to answer all of my questions and explain the different lashing options she offers. I was incredibly impressed with how knowledgeable she is. She is even more bubbly and sweet in person than she is over text/email. The studio is gorgeous and Christina genuinely made me feel so comfortable from the moment I arrived. Most importantly, my lashes look beautiful! I could not be happier! I cannot wait to try her other services (facials) next! I was blown away by her work and her pricing as well. She does amazing lashes for an incredibly reasonable cost in my opinion. Especially in comparison to how outrageously expensive everything is in OC, primarily beauty-related services! I highly recommend Christina and Chateau Luxe to anyone looking for gorgeous lash extensions in SoCal, she is a doll!

So glad I found Chateau Luxe since moving down to the OC recently, will definitely be back and would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

If you've ever had top-notch lash extensions, you will probably be very disappointed with these…read more With my previous lash artist, my extensions looked and felt so natural that I could brush through them just like real lashes. There was no noticeable buildup of glue, and each extension was carefully applied to an individual natural lash. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The extensions were applied with what felt like a very large amount of glue, creating noticeable clumps. Rather than delicately attaching each extension to an individual lash, they seemed to be laid on in heavier sections. The result was lashes that hung downward and looked limp, which I assume was partly due to the weight of the glue. Trying to brush through them was extremely unpleasant--it felt like brushing through a barbed-wire fence. Another issue was the placement. Very few lashes were applied toward the inner corners near the nose, leaving that area looking sparse and unfinished. Most of the extensions were concentrated toward the outer ends. My previous lash artist covered the entire lash line, creating a much fuller and more balanced look. The process itself was also concerning. Scotch tape was used to protect my lower lashes, which was honestly horrifying and not something I had experienced before. She had the strips taped to her arm to weaken the stickiness (I assume), then pulled each off and applied it to the lower lid, which is pretty gross considering it pulls skin cells off which are now taped to your EYE. Overall, if you're accustomed to high-quality, meticulous lash work, I would look elsewhere. If you're looking for something cheap and average, though, she probably won't disappoint.

The technician was so gentle I almost fell asleep, which is saying a lot because I don't even trust people near my eyeballs like that. The salon was clean, quiet, and relaxing--basically the opposite of my daily chaos. My lashes came out super lightweight but still full, like natural... if my natural self were just better. They've been holding up really well too, surviving naps, showers, and me aggressively rubbing my eyes at 2am (don't recommend, but still). Only downside? Now I have to book ahead because apparently everyone else also wants to look effortlessly put together.

I've had bad experiences at other studios with poor retention, excessive glue, and damage to my natural lashes, so I really appreciate how honest, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented this team is. It just feels like you are getting pampered right when you walk into a well managed facility, with beautiful decor and professional service. I made the appointment online through their website. I got the mega fill. Since my lashes were foreign, we worked with what we could. They still came out beautiful! I think once the old lashes fall out, they will look even better. My lash artist advised me to get a new set if they don't fall out by next session. And I will definitely be back next time. The man up front also explained after care and upcoming appointments with me. He not only gave me lash brushes, but a protector in case I need to take a shower before 24 hours.
