Nah this place is actually unreal. Inconspicuous casual pizza spot that I've gotten for wings takeout on Super Bowl night (which is a high stakes night) and they did not disappoint. Very crispy for takeout. Their baked ziti is out of this world. Chicken parm is average and not a standout dish but not bad. Def recommend!! read more

Just had pizza for the second time from here and it's now my partner an I's favorite pizza delivery for our neighborhood. (We've been searching for a place for a while since we moved to this part of BK) I really like the crust from here. Not too thick, not too thin, perfect density to taste the flavor. Evenly dispersed cheese that's not too oily. I only wish it came hot when delivered, but it's winter so that could be a factor. Perfect for a night you don't feel like cooking! read more

There aren't a ton of pizza spots that come to mind for me in this area. I had walked by this place many times but never noticed it and tried it on a whim. If I had to characterize it I would call it more of a New York slice, salty greasy and very satisfying. Surprisingly the garlic knots were also very good and i don't even usually go for them! Pies are very big so definitely more for a group (though I ordered this just for myself lol). read more

This review is based on the nasty tasting food that made me sick , the dried up so called Rice ball and the arrogant manager who spoke with me on the phone. According to the manager the rice ball is actually made with Risotto. That was the first red flag. The second was the lack of accountability , even after telling him the rice ball was inedible. Also - I have no understanding as to why they cut the rice ball in half. Maybe its an attempt to try and mask the polenta like texture. If I could give 0 stars I would. According to Mr.Arrogant manager no-one has ever complained. Smh. I highly doubt I will order from here again . This restaurant needs to stop acting like everyone does not know what good food safe food and a rice ball is. I surely do and this is not it. It also made us sick. I've used too good to go for this pizzeria many times and they have an amazing deal using it. 4 slices of pizza for 5 or 6 dollars. The pizza is generally pretty flavorful but the only thing that takes it from being a 5 out of 5 is the crust. It is very very often too crunchy. The perfect ny slice should be bendable without it breaking but almost every time I've gotten pizza here, it breaks and makes the crust not enjoyable. They have a lot of special slices and I would very much so recommend though. Tons of seats in side too! read more

Casual neighborhood spot serving some pretty good pastas. We've ordered delivery a couple of times before and then dined in for the first time. Service was super friendly, and I think it was the owner (?) but there was a kind older gentleman who kept checking on all the tables to make sure we have everything we need. We've tried a bunch of their pastas: carbonara, alfredo, vodka, bolognese. All of them were delicious. Maybe the tiniest bit on the bland side, but the pasta itself was perfectly al dente. read more

They have vegan cheese! I usually get the vegan brick oven pizza with eggplant. The dough is delicious, they load it up with plenty of cheese, and they don't skimp on the toppings. The eggplant is not the best I've had, but still decent. I wish they offered more vegan pizza options rather than me having to customize my own. I got french fries as a side and they were great. A restaurant is often only as good as the cheapest item on their menu because it shows the care they put in the food, no matter what. You get a big portion of fries and they even top it with parsley (or cilantro?). Delivery is reliable as well, which is always a plus. read more

I traveled to Il Bel Paese at the suggestion of Dave Portnoy. Il Bel Paese is located in the very tough neighborhood of Bushwick. I popped in and I ordered a Margherita slice, and an Upside slice. The Margherita was very good, and the Upside down was better. My bill with a bottle of Poland spring water was $10.75. It is located across the street from Circo's Pastry Shop, which is an additional reason for me to return. read more

This is hands down my favorite place to get a cheap slice in Bushwick. Also, for rainy days when your stuck inside, this is the only place in my hood that offers a brick oven pizza that's only 12", perfect size for a single person. Salads are very good and reasonably priced. It's rare I order delivery, but if you do try to order through SLICE app, it saves the restaurant's quite a bit of money than the other food delivery options. read more

This place is amazing, I recently discovered them on yelp and ordered takeout. My friend ordered the calamari and I ordered the pasta bolognese. It was delicious! the calamari was fresh and seasoned to perfection and the pasta was AMAZING!! I chose the rigatoni with the bolognese because I found the ridges are perfect little pockets for saucy goodness. The bolognese sauce tastes homemade and makes me feel like my nonna made it for me if I had a one. I don't know why this place has so few reviews. Definitely try it it if you can!! read more

The pizza's pretty good hence the two stars, but the wings are some of the worst I've had in my life. They're ridiculously small with less meat on them than I thought possible. Aside from that, they're overcooked (or old, I can't tell) to the point that the chicken is chewy like jerky. I'm not even remotely exaggerating; it's bad. I've stubbornly reordered it 5-6 times hoping that I had just received the undesirables of an old bag of frozen wings because I had a hard time believing such a well-reviewed pizzeria would sell such poor quality wings, but every single order I've received has been the same leading me to conclude that this just their product. Perhaps no one else orders wings or they just use their old, tiny wings for the 'Pizza and Wing' deal, I don't know. I just know I'll never order wings from them again. read more

I ordered the Sicilian Pizza which was DELICIOUS!! Since I moved to the area 7 months ago I've been searching for the best pizza delivery. This was the best I've had so far and my delivery man was incredibly nice. I look forward to trying something else of their menu in the future. Just stopped into this place to try it out since they just opened. I got a slice of pepperoni with extra pepperoni. And a root beer. Not only was the pizza better than average but the pizza was fantastic! The crust was just the right amount of crispy and soft on the inside, the pepperonis were delicious, and the cheese was fresh and melty. To top it all off the service was great. And, I paid with credit card! I highly recommend this to anyone who is in the neighborhood or is near the neighborhood and I hope they continue to stay in business for a long time. read more

Would definitely come back to try the other seafood dishes.
