When you walk in it's not very fancy, basically a hole in the wall. The only reason that I'm Not giving it five stars is because we literally sat there for an hour to get our food. There were people coming in after us for takeout orders and they were leaving with their food and we were just watching people over and over get their food before us. We sat at the bar, there was a skinny dark skin girl who had a really shitty attitude also. She wasn't very friendly at all. The only thing that made up for it was the owner (I believe) took some money off our check because I think she saw how long we actually waited. It was terrible. And the crazy thing about it is there was like no one in there only a few other people and then a lot of people that were ordering takeout. The chicken was excellent the waffle was OK, there's this weird aftertaste that comes along with the waffles my sister who ordered the fruity pebble waffle said the same thing so I'm not sure what they put in the batter but it's a really distinct flavor that you may or may not enjoy. Clean spot, owner was friendly. Service isn't great. Oxtails were tender, plentiful, but sweet. The fried chicken crust was crunchy, but the chicken was bland. First time trying IKrave and it was A+. My daughter had the fruity pebbles waffle, which is huge and a side of bacon. After taking one look okay her waffle,she thought it was her birthday. I had the bacon, scrabbled eggs and grits with an order of fries biscuits and it was GREAT. They also have this watermelon drink that if you miss with their lemonade it makes the perfect flop . the food is amazing, but this review is based on their ability to deal with issues. i arrived at 12:10, was order number 72. 45 minutes later the owner tells me my foods on the grill..... an hour later, they were on order 85, and told me my order was taking long because they were working with one waffle maker. the other had gone out on them. my problem with this was not the wait, as i can wait for fresh great food. my problem was that after they told me they were working with one waffle maker.... i kept seeing waffle orders coming out. orders way ahead of 72. so either they were making other customers waffles in between my order, and i would end up with cold soggy waffles. or they messed up, and not once was i apologized to. after an hour and ten minutes waiting for my order, i cancelled the order and left. losing a customer that much time waiting on food, to not get the food, or an apology, is really bad for a restaurant. and i promised myself i would never again come back to this restaurant, and instead go to lovelys a couple blocks away for my waffle fix. read more

(hence the 1 star) The regular waffle was very thick and had absolutely no taste. It was dough with powder sprinkled on the top. Thank god for syrup, which was the only thing that gave it taste. My co-worker ordered a red velvet waffle and she was also disappointed. The red velvet waffle also had no taste. It was like eating dough but with red color. ABSOLUTELY no red velvet flavor !! Again, thank god for the vanilla glaze as it have the waffle some sweetness ... We both tried to eat the waffles but ended up trashing them both. was very disappointed, and still hungry !! Was a newcomer here and deliberately ignored reviews to genuinely enjoy the place. I should've listened as far as the pricing. I ordered the banging wings and fries and my guy ordered the oreo waffle. The amount of wings isn't listed on the menu so I asked and was told 6 wings. When I got the plate, it was only 3 wings but I realized the lady meant 6 wing pieces if separated. Along with the Wings came a handful of shoestring fries and I paid almost $10 for this. My guy got a waffle and it seemed to be okay but still overpriced. The food as far as taste is okay but the menu's pricing should definitely be reevaluate and changed. The cashier stated no lunch available although it was 11:55 p.m. because the cook said so even though it was advertised as breakfast ending at 11:30.
