**ONE OF MY FAVORITE LUNCH SPOTS IN WEST ADAMS**…read more I was in the mood to get out, enjoy some sunshine, and finally try this place that had been on my list for a while. It did not disappoint. PRO TIP: Check their website before heading over, since they occasionally close for private catering events. PARKING ======== Parking can be a bit tricky on weekends, but it is manageable. If you give it a few minutes, a spot usually opens up, especially along the nearby residential streets. AMBIANCE ========== We were greeted by Donald and shown to a shaded patio surrounded by local plants. It is a really pleasant setup and a great place to relax with drinks and lunch on a warm LA day. FOOD ====== GREAT DANE DOG The Danish style hot dog is excellent. It comes on a warm, nicely toasted white bun and is topped with super thin pickles and a tangy (I taste capers) yellow remoulade. I'm telling you, their mustard and curry ketchup are easily some of the best condiments in LA! RATING: 5/5 SERVICE ======= The food came out quickly, and Mark, the owner, stopped by to chat with us about the restaurant and menu. Kudos to his chef wife for the delicious lunch! The staff had great energy and made the whole experience feel welcoming. RATING: 5/5 OVERALL ========= A really lovely first visit, and I am already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

I've never had anything like it and I doubt I ever will again. The husband is a server who is the perfect half of their team, welcoming you with Scandinavian hospitality. All this is dishes up to you on their intimate back patio tucked away in the corner of a random West Adams neighborhood plot. I've lived in Socal for almost my entire life and even went to UCLA and never visited West Adams (or heard of it). until I was 53 years old and it was worth the wait!

They had the best selection of Danish modern dining tables, all beautifully and lovingly restored. We were grateful to see their workshop as well. The attention and care they put into restoring every piece of furniture they sell is apparent. Jessy's knowledge of the furniture and willingness to share his expertise without being pretentious was very much appreciated. We ended up buying a beautiful expanding draw-leaf teak dining table by Skovmand & Andersen. We did see other tables, but this one was designed and built with the highest quality. We also bought a gorgeous Paul Laszlo designed chest of drawers from Brown Saltman in mahogany with maple drawers. We appreciated the excellent customer service and attention to detail from Jessy and his team. We feel like we have invested in functional art that will give us joy for many years to come. Thank you again!

I already had a couch from Living Spaces for about six years and really enjoyed it, but I'm moving…read moreinto a smaller place and needed something a little more compact. I found a couch I liked online and went into the store to see it in person. I had such a great experience. The lady who helped me was helpful and gave me a lot of great tips based on my space and what I was looking for. I ended up going with a different couch, and since it's customizable, she helped me figure out the best configuration for my space. I really appreciated her help and had a great experience overall.

Very disappointing delivery experience with Living Spaces. The furniture itself may be fine, but…read morethe delivery experience and the way the company handled the damage afterward were unacceptable. During my white-glove delivery, the delivery crew scraped and damaged my brand-new LVP flooring while moving the furniture. Living Spaces acknowledged that the damage occurred during their delivery. The scratches were not something that could simply be cleaned or buffed out--the affected planks needed to be replaced. I asked Living Spaces to reimburse me $300 for the repair, which was already a very reasonable resolution. In fact, I saved Living Spaces money because the flooring company that originally installed my floors had extra matching planks available. This allowed the damaged planks to be replaced without the additional expense of sourcing new flooring. Despite acknowledging the damage, Living Spaces ultimately refused to reimburse me because I did not obtain multiple repair estimates. This is especially frustrating because I had already found a practical and less expensive solution using the original installer and matching leftover planks. What makes this experience even more concerning is the delivery process. Living Spaces promotes a "white glove" delivery experience, but the delivery service is outsourced to a third party, which can then subcontract the actual delivery work. As a customer, you aren't necessarily aware of how many layers are involved until something goes wrong. If you are considering buying furniture from Living Spaces and having it delivered, buyer beware. Make sure you thoroughly document your floors and other property before delivery. Consider following the crew as they deliver. My experience was that once the damage occurred, Living Spaces did everything possible to avoid taking responsibility for a relatively small repair. For me, this experience permanently changed my opinion of the company. I will not be purchasing furniture from Living Spaces again.
