    Swedish meatballs

Seriously love coming here especially after doing some shopping in store this is the perfect middle point. Love the cafeteria lunch line feel. The Swedish meatballs are always good and the desserts have never disappointed. The veggies for the side though are hit or miss. The kiddos the chicken tenders are always a win. Will continue to come here when I'm in town!!

You know, sometimes you get hungry when you're shopping and it just so happens that an IKEA Cafeteria is close by. It's great when you need a quick and relatively affordable meal that's somewhat different from a typical fast food restaurant. In my opinion, if you're here, you have to try the Swedish meatballs. I'm not a big peas fan so i switch out with fries. The drinks are some of my favorites. I love trying a sample of everything. The ikea cola was so good. And if you eat the meatballs, you have to dip it in the jam it comes with Try to come when it isn't lunch. Once lunch hits, it's so busy and can be hard to find a table.

IKEA restaurant is everything it's hyped up to be! I typically hate Swedish meatballs, but these were delicious. Everything was so good and reasonably priced. I love their desserts! The staff was friendly and there is plenty of seating to enjoy your meal. There's a big window with a pretty view on one side of the cafeteria. I can't wait to return!

This cafe has loads of seating , I have never eaten at an Ikea restaurant before. I was a bit confused on how the ordering went as it's set up like a cafeteria. It reminded me of when I used to order my meals when I worked for the Walt Disney company. The cafeteria here at Ikea reminded me of that one , looked out of the 1950's. There were trays and even carts to place several trays on. On one side of the cafeteria there were loads of cakes and desserts in an enclosed display case . There were also salads and wraps in another. They had menu boards to order meals from and hot display case to customize your food. I needed help getting my order to go. I just wanted meatballs and a piece of garlic toast. The line servers were very nice and helpful. I took my food and paid at the checkout register of the restaurant. If I ever have to come back I may try other things but this was not a set up for me.

Once a month, IKEA offers bingo night! We went for the Valentine's Day bingo night which was way more packed than I thought it would be. They offer BOGO coupons for all attendees of bingo night, so an already affordable meal gets even more affordable. Swedish meatballs are my go to. They're perfectly bouncy and the gravy and lingonberry jam pair perfectly. The cafeteria style ambiance is super nostalgic and takes me back to my elementary school cafeteria days, albeit with better food.

I wasn't especially impressed with the restaurant. It was incredible average with very few choices. It's pretty much a cafeteria as opposed to a restaurant. It's neither exceptional nor bad. The tomato soup was really good as was the strawberry shortcake. The rest was just "ok" and edible but nothing to write home about. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the area itself was very clean and organized. It looks like the breakfast is more interesting, with a wider selection of foods. I doubt I'd eat here again unless I was really hungry. The snack shop near the exit has pizza and exceptional yogurt cones that were much, much better.

This restaurant used to be better. However the prices make up for some of the lower quality food. I always come here and eat pastries and meatballs. The meatballs used to be much tastier, not are what happened there (change of recipe?). The coffe here is decent and today I found out that they have started selling skagen sandwiches. These are so good- not sure if they are only tasting good to Swedes or if people that didn't grow up with it likes it too. However it is a nice shrimp salad croissant that brings some nostalgia for me. And also found out today that they are not serving lingonberry, pear or any other sparkling drink in the resetaurant anymore. All of it have been replaced with typical sodas like Sierra Mist, cola etc....

First time having the meatballs! They lived up to my expectations. And those expectations were delicious. Totally worth it to stop in the little restaurant while you're enjoying the beautiful maze that is IKEA.

I recently discovered that Ikea isn't just a furniture heaven. It's a wallet friendly paradise for foodies too. Imagine feeding your entire family for less than $20.

You might want to step up your game, IKEA. Or at least list your broccoli as broccoli stems.

I enjoy visiting IKEA, but not the restaurant. The service in the restaurant department is lacking.

Ask the Community - IKEA Restaurant

Do you sell rosettes? Apparently I can't answer the question "What is a rosette" unless I edit my question? A rosette is a Swedish Christmas cookie. Delicate and crispy, dusted with sugar. I can't find them in Denver, but they are popular in MN!?

What is a rosette? I am from Sweden and I do not know what a rosette is? They don't have any of those at IKEA at least...

Everyone was very nice and it definitely gets busy quick so plan accordingly. We had the Chipotle Steak and Queso Hash and Lemon Ricotta pancakes. OMG!!!! The pancakes were to die for. They are huge though so definitely a sharable plate if you don't want a lot. The lemon ricotta on them though was out of this world good. It was a smidge on the tart side but mixed with the berries and syrup it was just perfect. The hash was also knock your shoes off. They had so much flavor in all the ingredients and again is a sharable plate. I am so happy we came here because it is for sure going to be a keeper for breakfast places!

It seemed like they were a bit confused or didn't realized we were waiting to get seated, not that we were waiting to checkout. Breakfast is pretty decent. Portions are a bit on the lighter side, yet some of the flavors were intense (salty). Both the Million Dollar Potatoes and potatoes as a side were salty. The Chickichanga consisted of whipped cage-free eggs with spicy, all-natural chicken breast, chorizo, green chiles, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Topped with Vera Cruz sauce and all-natural sour cream. This was pretty balanced in flavors and delicious. The side of fruits (seemed unripe or old) and potatoes didn't seem to go with the dish. Staff was quick. And you can pay at the counter.
