The cafeteria is fast and clean, reasonably priced and the protein to go on top of my salad was a no-brainer. It was also the only place that I could think would have a piece of salmon prepared, seasoned just right and all the things. So I grabbed my tray go to the counter get an à la carte piece of salmon and I was informed that to go container would be at the cash register yet to the cash register asked Linda, the cashier with no gloves handling cash, for directions to get a to go container. With those same hands, grab the container not being mindful not to touch the inside and she proceeded to put the receipt in the to go container. I did Mention that was unsanitary if I could have another one. In her Karen tone and disposition she said, "you know what, you are absolutely correct however I don't give a damn because I am going to no longer be here in one week, as she gave me another container. I thanked her and informed her I would include her in my yelp review. I like IKEA I even said I will be back over this four-day weekend with my grandchildren, but that was definitely an unexpected experience.! read more

You know, I've always enjoyed IKEA as a way to kill an hour or so just having a look around, it's a good way to get ideas by looking at the many room layouts they have while also getting in a bit of exercise. However, that's about as far as the experience goes for me anymore. In fairness, I don't think anyone expects to find particularly high quality furniture here, but lately with every visit I've just been shocked at some of the prices being asked for items. I also notice the selection in this store seems to be rather limited these days also, in fact large areas of this store are under construction right now too, and that may be a factor in the less than stellar selection, but them not having a lot of built up items on display kind of defeats the purpose of the store. There's really nothing here you cannot easily buy online, and many times you could find better at a lower price, and with the easy return policies now of many online retailers i just am not sure what IKEA really offers anymore. Your mileage may vary, but for me I just feel the novelty of IKEA has worn off and don't see myself returning again anytime soon. read more

I've visited IKEA in Seattle back in 2007, but I wasn't a Yelper back then. I just recently visited IKEA Las Vegas last Wednesday to purchase items for my child as they are attending college in Las Vegas this year. I have to say it was very impressive. The way the store was organized on the retail side, everything was so easy to find, and the signage for way finding was excellent. The employees were also very helpful, they explained the layout of the store since we were quite overwhelmed when we first entered. In addition to great customer service I want to give credit to the quality of the items that we purchased as well as the value in pricing. I can see why IKEA is so popular! Please come to Hawaii! Of course we couldn't leave without trying the famous IKEA Swedish meatballs. We were so hungry after all of the shopping and walking around the entire store. The employees at the cafeteria were so friendly and personable. The food was excellent, especially the meatballs! Excellent customer service from the friendly worker who informed us if you want to eat upstairs, you're welcome to leave your cart downstairs. There's a temporary cart area where you can temporarily leave your cart of filled items if you need to use restroom and or eat upstairs in cafe. We're done paying for our merchandise and took a photo of our cart filled with purchased items just in case something happens. Might as well reward self with a very inexpensive meal in cafe on second floor. I switched to plant balls $2.79 for lunch. Twenty cents cheaper than Swedish meatballs. Loved it! Worked out well with cranberry sauce, peas, mashed potatoes and gravy. Much lighter than Swedish meatballs, still tasty without feeling very full. My husband stuck with his usual, traditional Swedish meatballs. My son loved Mac and cheese. He didn't care for chicken tenders. And others must have done just that, cause they have projected directional arrows on the warehouse type floors to help you find your way out. I totally enjoyed perusing the mock rooms and merchandise for hours. Thank goodness they understand my necessity to refuel every couple hours and installed a cafeteria in the middle of the store. This well organized store is a must for anyone looking to furnish their living space affordable. But beware, I'm told putting your purchases together can be a challenge. Absolutely love this IKEA location!! It's so huge that you can actually burn a little bit of calories walking thru the whole store. I took my toddler here recently & met up with my parents for a casual afternoon shopping trip. We really enjoyed the spotless store & friendly employees. The cafeteria was so cool with so many yummy dishes, and even desserts with reasonable prices. The selection of home furnishings, kitchen equipment, and decor is amazing too. HEJ! Does anyone else enjoy going to IKEA just to eat and then just take a walk afterwards? We do! ! It's seriously the perfect indoor location for a hot Friday night in Vegas. We noticed long lines at the food courts and then realized some items were listed at 50% off which was an awesome deal! Service was decent, I mean they were really busy serving everyone at 7:30pm and closing by 9pm. By the way, you can heat up your mac n cheese at your nearby microwave if it gets cold like ours was. This IKEA has a great selection, they have everything available to you from kitchenware to furniture, children's stuff, and another area for snacks downstairs by the exit door. Usually they have decent prices for most of the items but I noticed some shelves were over priced. I'm grateful we have an IKEA in Vegas, one of my favorite places to take a walk! read more

Went in to save money and by the time we finished with all of the add ons and the TIME it took to put everything together it was definitely not worth it. The quality of the sofa and bed was very poor. We used it for staging and left everything in the unit when we sold it because it was so flimsy. We did like the accessories though. read more

At times when I didn't have a question i could not easily spot them other times I some staff in abundance when of course I didn't have any questions. Such a bright and happy place to shop if only there was more touch screens that could help you scan and navigate the store via a map for the item. Especially for the elderly crew. We were glad to notice that the app and a touch screen were found before exciting the store. We found it super helpful because it helped us navigate the store and point us to the right isle. The restaurants had reasonable prices especially when it came to desserts and plates. The plates of food could be either taken from a pre-made section or order via a staff members. Just relocated back to Vegas from Hawaii so what other store other than IKEA do u go to?? Need to start off again since relocating with furniture & odds n ends. Pulling into the lot I couldn't help but notice how big the lot is and how much parking they offer so that was a big point as I hate crowds and looking for parking. We entered and decided we'd start off with lunch. IKEA has the most cutest and comfy cafeteria and the prices are very affordable! It's cafeteria style so you pick and go unless you are getting entrees you go to a different line and choose your protein & sides. I opted for the Swedish meatballs with mash potatoes & Mac n cheese as my side - they also had steamed veggies to choose from. The Swedish meatballs are DELICIOUS! Highly recommend! The gravy they used is so yummy and I found out you can buy the gravy packets as well as a variety of pre packed deserts and bottled items so don't forget to look at cafe as well as at check out area they have good selection of stuff. So now the showrooms... my goodness ikea has EVERYTHING! Prices are very good - I purchased all kinds of stuff but I got so excited to set them up I forgot to take pictures of my haul I highly recommend IKEA if your starting out new & like new items on a budget. DO NOT ORDER IN HOME DELIVERY FROM IKEA. IT IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK. Ordered a 98 inch Karlby countertop and two Alex Drawer units to be delivered to my home. They have two options, at door deliver or in home delivery and there is a difference of $30. I ate the $30 because I knew my Girlfriend would be alone when it was delivered and wasn't confident that she could carry it on her own. The delivery drivers arrived and my Girlfriend asked them to put the items in the room where they needed to go and they refused saying that it wouldn't fit. Then these two young men left my girlfriend alone with all the stuff in the entryway which made her had to drag all of the furniture to the correct room so the pets wouldn't scratch it up (btw it fit.) Called Ikea customer service and they told me that they technically completed an in home delivery so they wouldn't help me. If the website had specified that the extra $30 payment would quite literally only get the items into my house I would have saved the money. Don't shop from Ikea. I love IKEA. Of course, I wanted to go all the time when we didn't have one in Vegas. I'd dream about taking the drive down to West Covina to buy something. I just like to wander the building and get some food, even if I'm not there to buy anything in particular. When the one here opened, I was so excited!! I've been there twice. HAHAHA! I think it's a case of you wanting something you can't have, especially since IKEA ships to your home now. That being said, I still love coming here. We came with some storage solutions in mind and left dreaming of buying a new home, a fixer upper where we could put in a gorgeous green kitchen for me. This is what IKEA does to you man. They set stuff up so nicely in store you can't help but think of other things than the bookshelf you came to buy. I will agree that the directions suck. I haven't made one piece of IKEA furniture correctly on the first try once and I'm a put it together kind of person. But the store is very well organized, with signs and paths leading you through. First time visiting IKEA in Vegas. As we walked in we went up the escalators into to the showroom. It was a huge assortment of staged items and rooms. We were definitely overwhelmed and did not know where to start or end. I wish there were more workers around to provide a little more guidance during our shopping. They had a wide selection of both lower price items and better quality higher priced items. We were able to find some items that we planned on purchasing however due to their limited selection on certain items we will be looking elsewhere. This is definitely a place where you can get lost in for several hours that can satisfy some of your home needs. Overall, this Vegas IKEA is pretty comparable to other Ikeas around. It's nice only seeing a few employees throughout the whole store. Gives you free space to roam and browse, no hovering. Usually busy on weekends. Food is decent, I've been for breakfast and usually grab a drink on regular visits. Late post for our visit on July 8th. We initially had scheduled an appointment for a kitchen consultation back in June. However, I got the time wrong so our appointment was cancelled. I'm really glad we missed the June appointment as we were assisted by Margo. She was amazing and gave us so many useful suggestions. We opted to purchase everything that day and there was a $3K price difference between the gray that we wanted and the white that was on sale. Fortunately, my daughter noticed that the price for the "furniture and fittings" were the same. Margo checked with a co-worker and confirmed that the gray was also on sale. Scored on that, thanks to my baby girl for noticing. So in addition to the 20% off due to the sale price, we also got the 5% Ikea Family discount. We were really glad we missed that first appointment. We decided against purchasing their appliances but did end up buying a under counter black and gray sink, which will go great with our color scheme. This was so fun and exciting for first timers!! First off.. HUGE Furniture store but small items primary for a good size apartment or a small cozy home. We first tried the Café which was so interesting because everything that we were using were Ikea items- Plates, Cups, forks, right down to the table and chairs we sat on. The line was a little long because they only opened one section. We decided to get the meat balls and pulled pork burger. It was sooo good!! I mean.. it was pretty decent for the price. I definitely loved dessert! Chocolate crunch was the best! This was very typical cafeteria food, absolutely love the vibe. We pretty much could spend all day in this store. I've been here more times for the restaurant/cafe area then I have the actual store. My planning group has meetings here and there's lots of space and a great view of the Valley (no strip view, but nice tall windows). It's also right off the highway so it's super convenient for folks from different places. The food is decent. Sometimes the lines can get a little long, and lately they've been having issues with their soda fountain not working (which is a bummer since they have fun sodas). Best experience at an IKEA! I love their products but the reason they're so affordable is because you're kind on your own when it comes to finding what you need, to assembly. However this trip I was pleasantly surprised when Jolly in the living room section helped us design a Besta TV wall unit. Then again at check out, all lines except the self checkout were closed and an associate noticed we had a lot of items and offered to open a register just for us. Then we get to the loading dock and a different associate asks if we need help loading our massive purchase into our car. From start to finish it was the best IKEA experience we've ever had!
