This store used to be one of my favorites, but it's changed a lot. The back door is no longer being utilized. Maybe there was an issue with theft. The inventory has changed a lot too. For example, the storage containers are about down to a third of what they used to carry/offer. The Christmas selection has also gone down to a third of what they used to carry. Some items were not marked with prices. I was looking at the food gift storage. There was a clearance secton in the back. Most recent visit- 12/5/25. We went after Texas De Brazil. We were in desperate need of a study duffle-like bag for our food stuff to be carried by pack mules. We knew we wanted something waterproof and very sturdy, but that's about it. We stopped by The Container Store, hoping they had something duffle-like that would be suitable for that purpose. The Container Store is honestly one of the best places ever made for organization. If you're trying to get your house together or just want things to look clean and tidy, this place is it. The store is really big, and I went about five days before Christmas, so I was actually surprised at how much they still had in stock. You could tell things were selling fast because there were only one or two left of certain items, but that's totally understandable right before the holidays. At the very front, there was a little lady working the register who seemed like she might have needed a bit more training. The line got pretty long -- around 10 people -- and everyone was waiting patiently, but she seemed to run into an issue with almost every transaction ahead of us. We were the fourth person in line, so it definitely took a while.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We also needed help grabbing something from a high shelf, and while waiting, my boyfriend tried to grab it himself and ended up breaking it. Once the staff noticed, they were super understanding and didn't charge him for it at all. Well, I mean.... What's there NOT to like about this store?! They have such a huge selection of literally anything you need for the house and for building up the organization points in life. I'm a solid level 7, but aiming for that coveted level 10! Lol! The store is always always super clean, organized & inviting. The staff are always very friendly & hospitable. This is review to praise Sophia (our closet designer/salesperson) and Erik & Luke (the installation team) who worked on our upgraded Preston closet. Sophia designed our DREAM CLOSET! Glass doors, shoe shrine, hanging spaces for long dresses, plenty of drawers, jewelry drawers, and tons of shelves. Our closets are 10 feet tall, and they are a whole room in themselves. The color we chose, with Sophia's help, was Fawn. It turned out perfectly, because it is a near match for our other cabinets in our home, including the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room cabinets. Gorgeous closet and absolutely a beauty to behold. Erik and Luke from Penmarc Inspired Spaces installed the Preston closet. They arrived early at our home, were very professional, and did an amazing job installing the Preston. They were extremely prepared and executed the project well. They understood the vision, and were able to put together my dream closet. They even finished the job early, taking only 2 days to complete the install although they were scheduled to complete it in 3 days. My husband knew they were perfect for the job, because the first thing Erik did was tape the plans and renderings on each wall, so he and Luke had visual guides for every space. Very organized, thorough, and efficient! I had such a horrible experience with my Elfa closets (another Container Store product) being installed by Ace Hardware, that I was going to cancel my Preston order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am so thrilled that Sophia helped me understand that the Preston install would be different, as Penmarc's team truly knew what they were doing. I came here for my first time, to get a specific food storage container that I couldn't find at Amazon, Target, or Walmart. I am very happy with the Lustroware containers that I purchased, which were well worth the investement. The point of sale is a black eye for this business. On an early Saturday afternoon, they had only one cashier, resulting in a significant wait in line. Finally, another employee walked over with a portable electronic payment machine. He asked if I was paying by card. After answering in the affirmative, he asked if I was okay with an emailed receipt. After answering in the negative, he said I'd have to continue waiting in line for the regular cashier. When it was my turn at the cashier, she immediately asked if I was okay with an emailed receipt. I declined and requested a printed receipt instead. She then asked if I was a rewards member. After replying that I wasn't, she asked for my phone number (to register me in the program). Again I declined. A person's email address and phone number are personal information that is not required for an in-store purchase. I absolutely love The Container Store. This place is a total addiction for me. It's clean, well organized (obviously, haha!), and the employees are super helpful. Today's trip was all about hunting acrylic containers to tastefully display some of my collectibles. Note, they do have a collectibles section but I prefer the acrylic from the makeup section or the office supply section. So if you're a collectibles person, THEY HAVE WHAT YOU NEED! :-) I also left with an expandable spice riser rack, lol, which I do need but wasn't expecting to find. Even check out was friendly and came back at me with a tip that they have acrylic cleaner and stuff to buff out scratches to acrylic. YAY! This is a dream store for anyone who wants organization or just really good looking arrangements in that corner or over there. I am one of these people. I don't like to buy it out of the box and DIY. I take DIY to a whole level beyond what the instructions indicate. I am pleased that stores exist to help me reach my wildest arrangement fancies. This particular trip I am creating a space for my departed husband. I need a place at home now that I can go to and feel his presence when I want too. I found a couple of awesome shelves for only 10.00 that comes with the hardware. I was so excited to find what I wanted and still have extra money for odds and ends I found in the store. The staff was absolutely wonderful and so helpful in pointing me to the right area for shelving and such things. The store is so warm and inviting and welcoming feeling when a customer walks through the doors. When I went home to put said shelves up in the already created space it was seemingly easy. I was a little overwhelmed since my husband put up all our shelving; mine would usually fall down. The hardware for the shelves was easy to use and so were the anchors so that the shelf will stay up. The young man working the front desk this morning is a phenomenal employee. He greeted every single person who came through the door. He answered everyone's questions and took care of their needs. Incredibly unhelpful. I asked for my order if it's ready. The 1st lady can't find my name I gave her my order number and had to ask her twice if she looked it up by my order number? She didn't she had to transfer me. My order was supposed to be ready that day. I only ordered two things. The first phone call someone that apparently does the orders was on lunch. I don't care if their on lunch. If they are on their lunch then they must have had a 6-8 hours shift right? So..What were they doing the whole day? The 6-8 hours at work..we're they working or slowly pulling orders..1 item per 1 hour? I only ordered two things and I could have grabbed it myself. Just excuses. This was a fun store to shop in. Exactly like Simply Organized at home but bigger and more selection. I love knick-knacks that have a useful purpose. And I love the idea of being organized. The Container Store has affordable, helpful and cool items to keep life neat & tidy. And, speaking from the perspective of a tourist from Hawaii, if for some reason you really, really can't make it to IKEA (8 miles off Strip or 15 miles from Downtown), this is an acceptable alternate. Don't get me wrong, it's not the same. But, it's a nice way to make the most of your trip. Especially if you love shopping. The Container Store is located at Town Square on the south Strip. It is on the SDX Line. Tips for public transportation riders: If you don't want to cross the street to go back north you can hop back on the SDX where you got off from & ride to Las Vegas Premium Outlet South for more shopping. From LVPOS, get back on the bus at the same bus stop to go to the end of the line (it's the next stop anyway). You'll be instructed to disembark & walk over to the other side of the station to get back on the SDX going back north, back to The Strip. This place is like the Home Depot or Bed Bath and Beyond for neat freaks and the doctor for hoarders and those who need to organize and do a clean sweep of their belongings. The Container Store has just about anything you need to live neat, clean, and clutter free. Aside from having containers of various shapes and forms that'll make life easier, their shelving systems were cool, the bungee style chairs were very comfortable, and they even have the exact French style mason jars that Bouchon uses for their Foie Gras and Salmon Rillettes. I also have a lot of collectibles that I want to display, and they have cool shelves and containers that could come in real handy. Some of these items cost a pretty penny though. Curbside at The Container Store is pretty convenient. It is easy to notify the store on arrival as there is a link provided in the order ready notification e-mail, and the staff come out pretty quickly even when I've had a bigger/bulkier order. Staff have been consistently friendly and always want to help load up my car. The only negative is that, once when I wanted to cancel part of my order, I called the number in the order confirmation e-mail and the central customer service rep (not at the store) said I should just go pick up as normal and refuse to take the items I didn't want. It feels bad making someone drag stuff out to curbside just to tell them I don't want it; I feel like there should be a better way to handle this. Obviously, this isn't specific to this store, but it was a negative on my shopping experience. Overall, I'm a fan of The Container Store including the in-store experience as well; despite the rather high prices, the products are mostly high quality and the offerings are well-curated, and I've found the staff knowledgeable and friendly. If the prices scare you (and well.. they probably should), consider waiting for the big sales, or the various promotions that come from their frequent buyer program (called "POP!"). read more

First time shopping here, it's a great store with tons of items for every room in the house. The employees, one girl in particular was very snooty and rude. We wanted a c-table and the particular one we wanted they only had one in stock in the back. Since we were looking for a matching set we asked if we could just purchase the display model. She said no. She said they could order it for us though. We said ok, she went to the computer seeming very annoyed and came back and said the table is on back order, she did not know when it would come in or if they were even going to get more of them to which I asked them why can't we buy the display model? Her response was they had to wait and see if they were going to get more in and if not then they would sell the display model. I asked if there was anyone who we could ask if buying the display was possible and she said no there are no managers at the store and none were available anywhere to contact. Disappointed we took the one, I even tried Veterans Day is coming, she just walked away. At this point I didn't care because she started off with a very negative attitude and my feelings toward the usefulness of this employee were quickly fading. I could spend hours here if my husband was not there to drag me away. I don't know what it is about containers, big and small, for any and all things, but I just love them. My house looks so orgainzed when everything has its own little box or bin. They even carry shipping supplies and gift wrap. If you need travel sized container...they have them. Walking in the staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful! After several visits it seems they know me by name (this is where hubby's commenting starts to make sense) and they bring an industrial double shelf on wheels because the cart just isn't enough. This store is my happy place. I require organization and this store has all the supplies I need to be organized. This store carries all of the items you'd need to organize the kitchen, closets, drawers, and anything else you can dream of organizing. They also carry travel supplies, food storage containers, gift wrap, trash cans, and desks. The store offers a service to help design closet organization with shelving, drawers, rods, and shoe racks. During the holidays they carry more wrapping supplies and stocking stuffers than you can imagine. Usually I visit during my lunch break and I'm always greeted and offered help. The store is always clean and organized (I would hope!). The layout of the store makes it easy to find what you're looking for. It's laid out by closet, office, kitchen, and wrapping supplies. I purchased one of the desks for my craft room here and someone was able to help me get it loaded into the car without a problem. As with any specialty store, the prices can be high on certain items. They also carry organization items that you won't easily find at other stores so the pricing on those items makes sense. The Container Store does have a rewards program. I dont get the hype of this place especially when it first opened. When I found out people were excited this place was opening up and were still hyping it up after checking it out, I guess eventually I will get around to it. I just happen to be shopping at Whole Foods with the fam next door when I realized this was our chance to check it out. First of all, I didnt set my expectations too high based on the excitement factor of others that have told me about it. Good thing I didnt because after my visit, I was still trying to figure out what all the excitement is about. I will just come right out and say it. Its a mini me of an Ikea store. Pretty much the same things that you would find at the Swedish place but on a way smaller scale. I guess since there is no Ikea in Vegas, these guys are betting on the fact that people need a store like that so here they are. After walking around through the whole store which didnt take much time, I really didnt see anything that peaked my interest and I am usually bad for buying things on impulse. On this occasion, I did not give anything I saw an extra second to think that I might really need it later on down the road sometime. As for service, I dont recall anybody that worked there asked me if I needed anything or asked how I was doing. Maybe it was the sheer look of boredom that was written all over my face that they thought that I didnt need anything at all. So, sorry to those guys that felt giddy about shopping here. I literally yawned about 10 times from the moment I stepped inside to walking out the front door. Good thing they dont sell any kind of bedding or I might still be there snoozing away. Also add the fact that they dont have a food court where I can have some meatballs or at least some cinnamon rolls to make my stay there actually worthwhile. I never thought that I would be waxing euphoric about a retail store--especially one that basically helps you organize and sells containers. But I now am. The unique thing about this store is that you will likely find something that you never saw before or ever previously realized that you needed. For instance, after two trips, among other products I now have a stepped plastic platform that displays readily identifiable cans of food inside a kitchen pantry, pull-out metal shelves in the cabinets below bathroom sinks, expandable shoe racks, a multi-sectioned holder of various balls and other essential sports equipment, and even a clear acrylic holder for an orange KISS souvenir golf ball from KISS by Monster Mini-Golf. Beware, for a visit here can be dangerous to your household budget and wallet. And, prices are not low for these unusual items. Yet, in the end, the better accessibility, organization, and appearance of one's stored items and collectibles will likely be well worth the monetary outlay. One metal shelf pulled out somewhat roughly after it was tried in earnest at home. The imperfect shelf was cheerfully taken back and exchanged without incident. So, this is a store that will also stand behind its products. At the site of a former Borders bookstore near an entrance to Town Square, the large space has been totally refurbished and filled with great stuff. Very clean and organized store- bonus star for having teacher discounts for items used in organizing classrooms! Not sure if this is a special sale due to Teacher Appreciation Week or a discount that can be used throughout the year with proper ID. Store itself is, predictably, organized to the max. Fell in love with a pull-out desk, and I don't even NEED a desk! Love the little décor touches sprinkled throughout the store, making the furniture and displays look much more realistic than the pictures in the catalogs. Service seems like it could be stellar- the ELFA section in particular even has light up buzzers like what you get when waiting for your table at a restaurant, which I assume come into play when you're waiting to work with a specialist one on one. However, despite wandering the store for nearly half an hour collecting a basket of items to organize my bathroom, I was only ever spoken to by the guy who checked me out as I left. read more
