I've been eagerly waiting for this spot to open for the last couple of months. They are in the soft opening phase now. Same routine as other locations as far as sandwich choices. I do see extras here that I don't see at the Mendocino location like baked cookies, soft serve, and flat bread on the kids menu. I'm excited to welcome them to this side of town! We needed some fresh food options in this center. I know they are working out kinks, so a true review should come soon, but my thoughts after the first order. My sandwich (we're just friends) was good overall but not quite as ordered. It was missing the avocado that should be on the sandwich, the requested jalapeños, the bread was barely toasted, and despite requesting light sauce it was still quite wet.

I got a half and half of the bear cub and the fountain grove. Starting with the dough - it was quite bland and odd texture. Not quite crispy, not quite chewy either - a weird in between. Perhaps the dough hydration was a little too low? The sauce - well seasoned, good ratio of cheese to sauce. If anything, maybe a little on the sweet side. The cheese - good ratio, no notes here. the bear cub - good amount of pep applied on the pizza, no cupping action, but tasted fine. Doesn't taste like anything special, but holds its own here. The fountain grove - unfortunately quite a disappointment. Starting off, it was very salty. Maybe from the sausage or salami? I personally still don't understand the craze with piling on ingredients just to have them in California. I've seen it happen so often, and it always falls short of a cohesive pizza, and this one is the same story. Each bite it took just kind of tasted like an amalgamation of random ingredients, there was nothing complementing one another. Overall, a 2/5 pizza. Their employees are very friendly and seemed to have good service. My personal pizza tastes may disagree with others, but I hope there is some room for adjustment or improvement.

Very different from other pretzels, but in the best way. I always go to Alameda for my dog's grooming, so, on 10/25/2025 I picked up a box for the groomers, and they only had good things to say about it too. I also got four pretzels for us as a snack on the way to Alameda, and they never disappoint. Always so good! When we got them, they were incredibly fresh and still warm. The place is cute and smells amazing. The people there were very friendly, even when they were busy they tried their best to help me decide which pretzel to get (I am very indecisive ). I can't recommend this place enough. Please come and try it for yourself!

The shop has a rustic, artsy charm, and the staff greets you warmly as soon as you walk in. My personal favorites are the cheese herb and jalapeño cheddar pretzels, especially when paired with their cheese onion spread, an addictive combo that hits all the right notes. A hidden gem for any pretzel lover!

I've incorporated the…read morespecific details you mentioned, plus a few "insider" positives (like the meat counter and local goods) This place is basically the clown car of grocery stores: tiny on the outside, but somehow contains an infinite universe of high-end cheese and local produce on the inside. The Good: If you need an obscure local goat cheese, a loaf of bread that sings to your soul, or produce that looks like it was polished by fairies, this is your spot. The prepared foods and hot bar are dangerous--I went in for milk and came out with a three-course dinner and a mortgage on a brisket. Also, the meat and seafood counter? Legitimately awesome. It's clean, well-stocked, and feels like a true neighborhood gem. The "Eh": Ah, the service. Classic Oliver's. It's that special brand of "meh" where they aren't mean, they're just... profoundly unbothered by your existence. They are employee-owners, which I guess means they own the right to not make eye contact. The Battle: Parking is technically "decent," which is code for "fine at 10 AM on a Tuesday, but a reenactment of Mad Max at 5 PM." The lot fills up faster than my cart in the wine aisle. Verdict: I will continue to fight for a parking spot and accept the indifferent service because the bread and cheese are just that good.

I love pickles so the name sounded like a match for me. I was wrong. I chose the Mrs. Pickles with turkey and avocado, etc. I didnt want a lot of bread so asked for a wrap. I guess when you ask for a wrap that automatically makes it the biggest and most expensive of the 3 menu prices shown. Fine. No tomato and no onion please. NO ONE asked me nor indicated this WRAP was going to be HEATED! YUCK OMG YUCK YUCK YUCK. I grabbed my order when it was ready and headed out the door to Spring Lake intending to enjoy it there. There were a lot of napkins in the bag and a thin chocolate chip cookie they include I guess. I did not feel the bag was warm at all. When I got into Spring Lake and parked (20 min later) I picked up the bag and set it on my lap...then i noticed it was VERY warm. OH NO! I thought..All the crispy veggies are going to be soggy and limp. And they were. I picked some of the turkey out and threw the wasted $16!!! mess in the trash. They knew i had never been there. This is SHAME ON THEM. Not worth $10 much less $16. Skip this place. This was a very upsetting experience and a big waste of money.

When stepping inside, you're greeted by a small area witha few tables, and the unmistakable scents of being inside an italian deli. We decided to split sandwiches to have a variety, so we got a special Spicy Cubano and a Tri Tip sandwich. First, I love a good Cubano, and this hit the spot, although the Pulled Pork was a little spicier than Id normally go for, but the flavor combo of the pork, ham, pickles was spot on and ratio'd nicely with the roll. The Tri-tip was also a flavor bomb, meat tender and flavorful, also with a good ratio to the roll . If I had one slight critique, I would have added a little salt to each. The chips, I believe they make on site, were a 10 outta 10, thin, light, crispy and seasoned perfectly. I would have bought a couple bags to go if it was an option. I did buy the frozen raviolis and marinara to go , to take home and make for the wife. It was simple to prepare, and while tasty, I didnt think it was significantly better in taste to justify the extra expense over some good quality ones that can be purchased at grocers closer to home. If you are in the area, and want a great deli sandwich to go, or even sit and eat, this place should be on your list to hit.
