We went really late at night, a good amount of people families and older people and were seated right away. Our server was really nice and attentive. The food came out hot. We didn't feel rushed and we sat and talked for a while. I'll update with better pics when I take another visit.

I came here late at night, so it was understandable how there was only 1 server. However, he barely paid attention to us. Keep in mind that there were only 2 other tables. He had his headphones on, and prioritized other customers. I am not sure if it was about racism, but my family and I did not feel welcomed. It was hard to get refills or anything. I could also see him sitting and using his phone. Terrible service. Besides that, the food was average, typical ihop quality. It was hard to enjoy with little water to drink. If you get a milkshake here, make sure it's for dine in. If you get take out shakes, they will be in small kids cup.

It's official I hate all IHOP's..... never a good experience. I am WAITING at the Smoketown Rd. location in Prince William County. Curb side..... nothing even after almost 10 minutes over the time for my order was supposed to be ready. I went inside ..... nothing and no one. If I didn't think I would get charged I would just leave and go to Silver Diner or Fudruckers. Just called and no one answered. Over 15 minutes from the time THEY/IHOP said my order would be ready. WE LEFT

    Im here for some pancakes!

Flavorful, lots of rib meat filling and bread grilled nice and crunchy. It's delicious. Berry Almond French Toast is very good. If you have a sweet tooth for brunch, then do not miss this dish. Steak & cheese melt is a staple on this menu. Filled with nicely seasoned steak, grilled onions and a blend of cheese makes this dish a hearty brunch meal. From the host to the service team, everyone is very efficient and friendly. Pro Tip: use the Yelp waitlist feature on busy days.

I received a warm welcome and was offered two options for my dining (bar or table). Hot tasty coffee was on the table promptly; it's neat you get a pitcher of it at your table! My waitress, Catalina, was knowledgeable about best choices for me as I have Celiac disease (no gluten). Before I could drink half a cup of coffee, my meal was delivered! They served the tasty Monterey Club on fair tasting whole grain g-f toast. It was PACKED with turkey, bacon and avocado along with the cheese and veggies. I admit I was hungry and had to force myself to slow down. That last spoonful of soup was the icing on my 'cake.' The check came-no extra charge for g-f bread. Now I can take it to the register when I'm ready. My first trip here was WAY back when they opened and it took a bit to get seated and so forth. I plan to get back sooner!

He gave us the history of the restaurant, it used to be at the watergate hotel and former president Reagan was a huge fan of the restaurant. Right after he got shot his wife had a surprise birthday party here. The original chef passed away and they lost their lease so this is the location now. Just some fyi for all you history buffs. The food was fantastic yet again. For the hors d'Œuvres we got the Merguez which was lamb sausage with ratatouille. It was very good. We also got a Brie and prosciutto platter with pickles and spiced pears in a red wine sauce. It was interesting for sure. The Brie was St Stephen's from Stephentown NY. I love Brie and this was a good one. Very interesting flavors. I got the seafood special this time. It was scallops, risotto, asparagus, and a shrimp crab cake. I wasn't a big fan of the shrimp crab cake it was dry but everything else paired well. My husband got the filet mignon. The side was these stuffed potatoes and asparagus. The stuffed potatoes were stuffed with a creamy filling almost like crab Rangoon but better. So yum. The waiter found out it was our anniversary and he went all out. He also gave me half a dozen roses and proposed to me in front of my husband . Yall just go here, and ask for Dennis to be your waiter. He's the best.

Even though it was pretty busy, we were seated immediately, and I was especially grateful to be seated in a quieter corner where the tables were more to the side instead of directly behind us. It was a stressful moment because my autistic son was having a really hard time and was clearly overwhelmed. Our server was wonderful, but the manager, Joy, was truly an angel sent at the perfect time. Not only did she remember our family from a previous visit, but after we explained that our son is autistic and was struggling in the moment, she immediately went to the back and returned with markers, paper, gemstone stickers, a timer, and more -- almost like she was fully prepared for children with sensory needs. I honestly can't express how much that meant to us. Her timing couldn't have been better, and we will forever be grateful for her kindness and compassion. On top of that, when my food came out, my steak wasn't cooked the way I requested. I honestly wasn't even planning to say anything, but Joy noticed I wasn't eating it and asked how I had ordered it cooked. When I explained, she kindly offered to remove it from the check. Managers like Joy are rare and so deeply appreciated. The food was great, but truthfully, Joy is what made this experience unforgettable. You can tell she's not only an amazing manager, but also a genuinely good person with a caring heart. Thank you, Joy, for making such a lasting impression on our family. Eventually, we just walked up to the cashier. Since it was our first time, we were clearly a bit lost, but there was no "hello" or "welcome" the cashier just handed us menus and told us to order at the counter. The lack of communication made the atmosphere feel a bit unwelcoming. The Price & Value: The bad part of the experience was the checkout process. The lowest tip option on the screen was 25%, with the highest being 32%. For a place where you order at the counter and receive minimal service, that felt very steep. I ordered the Barrio Breakfast and an horchata, though I was confused as to why I was charged for a more expensive "iced horchata latte" instead. My boyfriend got a bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread and a bottled Coke. Our total came out to nearly $60. The Food: To be fair, the food was actually very tasty and we had no complaints about the quality. However, in this economy, it's hard to justify the price for what is essentially a meal you could make at home for a fraction of the cost. Overall: It's worth trying once if you're curious, but because of the high prices and the awkward service, I don't think we'll be regulars. I only took a photo of my horchata since I forgot to take a photo of the meal.
