We live in Suffolk near main street. There are not a lot of options for breakfast on this side of Suffolk. Run Run. Run as fast as you can. This is the 3rd and last that we will frequent this location. My husband ordered the split decision. I ordered the waffle combo. Husband asked for really well done French toast. His French toast looked as if it was put in the pan and turned over once. I also asked for my waffle to be extra well done. The waffle came out the color of our table. They took it back and it was only brown on one side. No worries I cut up one square and took it right back out of my mouth. It appears that they use corn meal or some other type mix then good Ole pancake mix to.makemtheir waffles. The waffle was heavy and tasted like corn bread. Hubby asked for manager. Let's just say everyone is not made to be a manager. My husband expressed his displeasure with his meal especially the eggs. She informed him that they use liquid eggs and shell eggs and that we needed to express which we wanted when ordering. I asked as a consumer how are we supposed to know there is an option. She says it's always been that way. Again I asked how would we know that. As I finish my review I notice they have a 2 rating on Yelp I can see why. read more

Worse IHOP ever! This is our first and last visit to this IHop. It took 15 minutes for a waitress to come to our table. They sat us next to the prep area and it smelled so bad of spoiled milk/garbage that we couldn't enjoy our food. We only had two orders and one was wrong. Had to look for waitress to get check. Maybe I caught them at a bad time, I'm not sure. This particular IHOP is located in a very busy spot. Business is good I'm sure, but you definitely should have a staff that can keep up. I walked in and laziness was in the atmosphere from the greeter (I don't really feel like working today) to the waitress (No you didn't ask me to wipe off a table for you). I really depend on Yelp because I believe the honesty of Yelppers help me make a quality decision. To tell you the truth, IHOP is the reason I make breakfast at home. They never get the eggs right and 7 times out of 10, something is cold on your plate from waiting on the server in the window. Well they reassured me today to make my own breakfast before spending money at another IHOP! I was sat down as a single with another single beside me, and two triple in front of me. We all ordered at the same time as. All three tables, including the single beside me had received and ate their food before I even received mine. Coincidence? Perhaps, but my waitress act as if it was no big issue. Then to add insult, my eggs were not done, pancakes were cold, ham looked like it went from package to plate. You may say it's just me, or you might agree that if you PAY for someone to cook your food, you should expect what they say they will deliver. I just returned from Ihop and their business page was up on my desk so I might as well share my experience. I called at 10:22am to place a to go order. I was told that it would be 10 to 15 minutes and the woman gave me my total. I arrive at 10:53 to be told that my food should be coming up. Since I was way past the time it should be ready I was already annoyed. A few minutes later a manager walks up to tell me that my order was never placed at which I proceeded to just walk out. I am on a short break from work and don't have the time for food to be prepared once I arrive. I need to stop coming to Ihop. they never get it right. read more

OMG. Ate breakfast there on Sunday. Our server was awesome but looked in the kitchen and saw three cooks. Only was was wearing his mask. One had his down around his chin and the other didn't; even have one on. At one point even watched him rub his nose like he had an itch; and then continue cooking. Other than two of the servers, every other one either took their mask off or pulled it down when they went behind the wall to place or pick up orders. With COVID, this was absolutely disgusting, and a slap to all of is that are trying to be careful. Second off the waiters seem to be incompetent she couldn't get a simple drink order right, after being corrected 3 times and still managed to mess up the order. I love IHOP, but this place is terrible. The staff is terrible. I feel as if they only have a couple people working at all times, which causes a lag in service. The people working, nonetheless, are bottom of the barrel. They seem to always have an attitude for reasons unknown. The food is pretty decent, however. This IHOP sucks. The service is very slow. The menus were sticky and nasty. The staff seemed unaware of everything. Poor customer service.

Ugh where to start. Food: tasty, simple, huge portions. The eggs and bacon are what you'd expect. The new mini pancake stacks with fruit were not so exciting. It tastes more artificial than I prefer. Wait staff: nice, super chatty - which is not so desirable when you come with a few friends to enjoy breakfast. I think there was a 5 min conversation about how to find coupons for IHOP. Thank you but a sentence would have worked. Paying: OMG. Horrendous. We didn't wait to sit down. We were served in a reasonable amount of time. Checking out... A line of over 5 groups coming from both sides of the restaurant and the registers were acting like dinosaurs. why can't they bring point of sale devices to your table or take your credit card/cash to the register like all other restaurants. This IHOP has really disappointed me over the past year. On our most recent visit today, the overwhelming smell of the bathrooms made it difficult to really enjoy our meal. The smell hits as soon as you walk in, and lingers as you consume your meal. Save your appetite and try an alternate location. read more

I don't like giving places low ratings but after a couple of visits and the services has been the same I believe it is a pattern. Upon coming into the restaurant I wanted 5 minutes just for someone to come to the front to see how many were in my party to get a table. I would have left at that point but had family meeting me there already. After being seating the time it took for them to take the orders was ridiculous. Then things got worse from there after waiting 45 minutes for food to start coming out 3 of the 7 orders were messed up. Oh, and I forgot to say two people wanted soup and they say they have soup everyday at least two and then a soup of the day but this day they were out and not serving soup. Then after finally getting everyone's orders straight and 2 hours later we just went to the register to pay because waiting for the check would have been another half an hour. I was a little nervous to come in here after reading some of the reviews. We are not from the area and I was trying to direct my parents to a place with better reviews. I'm glad we came in. We were met by very friendly staff, our food was hot and delicious and the service we received from EEEEEE was fantastic. On 14th February approximately 5:30 p.m. I went to IHOP on North Main Street where I received the worst service from a greeter from any restaurant. The greeter whose name is Dee stood before me and a dirty uniform and a red food stain t-shirt a skull cap just sitting at top of his head with his black pants sagging well below his buttocks exposing the full rear of his boxer underwear. He took my to-go order incorrectly and when I came back to point out the deficiency he responded in an aggressive tone my wife attempted to explain the situation further and he interrupted her by saying excuse me ma'am but I am not talking to you so please be quiet I am talking to your husband. This action towards my wife is 100% disrespectful and unprofessional. The getting my order wrong is not the reason of my disgust for this graders Behavior it is the way he presented himself and it is the way that he dealt with my situation and mainly the way he spoke to my wife and myself. Another customer who was waiting to be seated interrupted the server and said aren't you being a little rude to this man and he explained that my wife was interrupting me and she should be quiet as he was only dealing with me the husband. This customer stated that your job is customer service and you should be more polite the greeter totally ignored that comment with no response. I did not ask to speak to a manager as I felt it would do no good as I felt posting on Facebook and speaking to corporate would get more action then dealing with a manager who can do very little to the correct this greeters inability to deal with the public. read more

The credit they offered is WORTHLESS because I can't use it, if the food isn't going to be delivered. I don't want to hear any excuses about not having enough drivers! Very disappointed. Came with my 3 kids while my wife is out of town. Good initial service but then waited a long time. When food finally arrived all of our food was cold. Not sort of hot, but room temperature. I noted this immediately with nothing more than "I am sorry". When I pointed this out to the person who self identified as the manager again the answer was merely "I am sorry". I even said I could understand some being cold, if they held it all for the last dish but it was all cold after a long wait. I am local but will probably avoid coming again anytime soon. read more

What terrible customer service. The manager Jasmine was the absolute worst. First off they when we started to order the waiter stated, my husband ordered an omelet and the waiter said they were out of omelet stuff. Then said we are pretty much out of everything. I ordered a burger. They didn't have any buns. When I brought up to the manager that this was unacceptable she proceeded to tell me that I could only get Get the kids eat free and she couldn't do anything else for me. Decided to head here for dinner last night with the family, who doesn't love breakfast for dinner? The staff was polite and we were seated rather quickly. Once we were seated and we had ordered we overheard a server telling his table that they only had one cook for the night so the wait would be worse than usual. The table behind us got there around when we ordered and didn't get their food until we had finished eating. Also my husband ordered the all you can eat pancakes and he only got 2 pancakes. As soon as he finished them our check was brought and we were not offered any more pancakes. Had we known that we would have just ordered the meal with 2 pancakes and saved $3-4. Food was ok at best. The place is dirty. He women's restroom has one open stall (one out of order) and it was absolutely filthy. After seeing that, I can't feel confident that the employees serving my food are hygienic. Too many other options in town to think about giving this a second chance. read more

This place was a complete disaster, which is amazing given how easy breakfast food is. First, I got one of their specialty iced tea/lemonades, which was ridiculousmy strong. I tried to dilute it with a glass of water. Then the waitress got my order wrong. Instead of a stack of pancakes with fresh strawberries and banana, the stack was covered with a thick red glaze and a few cooked berries. Between the pancakes was some strange white cream that wasn't whipped cream. Totally wrong and inedible. I sent it back and didn't accept a replacement because the whole process had already taken far longer than it should have. Was glad I had ordered tea when I saw her open 3 packs of coffee by using her teeth to tear open the packs.
