We really enjoyed going to Cafe Davina. While it was slammed with people, they were efficient at taking orders and preparing the food/drinks quickly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We loved the beautiful magnolia nook that had seating in the middle of a barrage of magnolia trees with lights all in the middle. I've included the picture of the entrance below. Great food and drinks options!
Had a great experience going to this unique cafe with my sister and partner. The crepe was light and had a great balance of sweet and savory. It was a beautiful atmosphere and being from the north, eating in a historic southern mansion was truly a great way to start the day. Will definitely be back.
Yesterday I took a drive out to Cafe Davina in Suffolk , all I can say it's a must try, it was beautiful , peaceful the food was amazing and the latte . Everyone there was very friendly , helpful and attentive it was an awesome experience and worth the drive for sure
This coffee shop is like no other one I've been to. Located in the heart of Suffolk, Cafe Davina has so much charm. I enjoyed a lovely afternoon here catching up with a friend and tasting the bites. I went for a crêpe. I hadn't had one for a while. The crêpe I ordered was a brie turkey and cranberry with a raspberry lemonade. I felt so fancy and really enjoyed my first experience here.
This place was so lovely and unique! The cafe is part of a boutique bed and breakfast. I came on a busy Saturday morning with a group of 6 and we sat outside in the section within the trees. Our food came quickly and service was quick. I got a chai latte and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. The turkey goat cheese panini was delicious, but the crepe I got was just okay. The property is beautiful and there is plenty of seating options inside and outside of the house. We enjoyed walking around and taking photos outside by the fountain after eating. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend this place to others visiting Suffolk!
I got their seasonal caramelized peach iced latte. So unique and so yummy! The staff was soooo helpful. They asked if we had been there before as soon as we walked in (which we had not) and they were very helpful with explaining the menu and how it worked with seating. They were all so kind and friendly. The whole place is gorgeous. So aesthetic and dreamy.
The crepes and coffee are always incredible! I had the French toast crepe with banana & the seasonal specialty Almond Croissant iced latte! The grounds of the cafe are beautiful and very well maintained. Indoor and outdoor spaces are very lovely and well planned. Service is always great & it's one of my favorite spots!
We really enjoyed our first visit to Cafe Davina. We were in the mood for brunch and wanted to find somewhere new to try. My friend and I both found this place on Yelp and figured it must be a sign to try it. lol I was excited seeing crepes on the menu especially unique flavored ones. I went with the Peach Pecan Streusel Crepe - delicious! Sweet but not too sweet. My Maple Iced Coffee was delicious and refreshing, as well! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our meal time. The atmosphere is so cool. A converted, old style house. The grounds are also very pretty. We tried the macaroons which my friend was nice enough to share. Very tasty as well! I look forward to going back and trying their panini sometime soon. In the area? Check Them Out!
Cafe Davina is such a cozy, warm, friendly place to have brunch! They have tasty almond croissants, macarons ( I tried every flavor), and crepes. The fig, prosciutto, goat crepe was delicious! Decor is beautiful. I love the art pieces and the books . The staff was so nice about all the questions I had. The macaron flavors were raspberry, vanilla, chocolate, pistachio, lemon, and caramel. I had all of those plus a caramel latte. Yum! They have a self serve water station with regular and lemon water. I highly recommend Cafe Davina for a relaxing brunch and a sweet ambiance.
Don't be the first one to give less than 5 stars! Because the ambiance and friendly service truly are notable! This B&B has its cute private driveway to 2 small parking lots. There's even a photo studio in the back (not open on a Sunday). As you enter there is a huge foyer with menus on a round table, to the right is where you order and to the left are rooms of Victorian feel that are for dining ... and let's not forget to mention, the divine sunroom where even on a winter morning and gloomy gray skies and rain, the plush bench with toss pillows and cafe tables add to the charm of upscale relaxed dining. Upstairs am told are bedrooms for B&B which I'd love to try someday! There are sections of the lower level which can be explored. The food selection: crepes, paninis and other brunch items. LOVE that even their signature lattes are unique: I got the Suzy Q which is latte with vanilla and cardamom. I got a large, enough to enjoy the whole morning. For crepe I love it that they have Brie and fig jam... this time I requested that the ham and Brie crepe and typically apricot jam be replaced with my fave fig jam... they were so nice to accommodate! Can't rave enough about this place, a definite gem worth the drive to. Now if Jacob Elordi (Heathcliff!) serve my latte....
This is such a cute tea cafe. It's connected to the Pinner House, studio, provisions store, and so many great photo opportunities. Service is pretty quick. It was extremely packed. I've never seen it that packed on the weekends, but Thursday morning was a hit. Overflow parking is located on Finney Ave. The french toast was yummy (definitely a crepe) . any sister enjoyed her crossaint and her latte. I had the chai tea latte which was flavorful, but I forgot to sub my milk. So I only tasted it.
This is the cutest coffee shop nestled in a quaint neighborhood in Suffolk. It's a house. A beautiful house that has been redesigned. The staff are really nice and helpful. I always have to compare drink offerings to Starbucks, and they were able to give me comparable options that were on par with what I'm used to. We found seating outside under the big beautiful trees, and they brought our drinks and crepes out to us. My crepe was so tasty! I had Prosciutto, Goat Cheese, and Fig and my husband had Honey, Brie, and Fig Jam. Our drink selections were Birdseye Maple and Suzi Q. Everything was really good and I loved the atmosphere! 4 STARS! It was a little pricey but I would definitely visit again!

If you haven't been to Café Davina yet. I almost don't want to tell you about it because it feels like one of those hidden gems you want to keep all to yourself, but it's just too good not to share. I have been going for the past year, and they are consistent every time. Recently we went as a family. The vibe was amazing as usual. Warm, welcoming, and effortlessly charming. The staff? Always incredible. They're genuinely friendly, super attentive, and their recommendations never miss. Now the FOOD. We ordered a mix of sweet and savory, and every single item delivered: The peach pecan streusel crêpe was pure comfort warm, buttery, and perfectly balanced with that sweet, nutty crunch. I usually get extra caramel drizzle. The French toast crêpe. Imagine your favorite brunch classic leveled up into something soft, rich, and absolutely indulgent. The Nutella and banana crêpe is a crowd pleaser, especially for kids. It's creamy, chocolatey, and just the right amount of sweetness. The turkey, goat cheese, and avocado panini brought the savory side. The flavor was great, and came with kettle chips. The drinks were just as fun and unique. The butterfly pea flower lemonade, was not only refreshing but visually stunning. We also got the mango soda and a blueberry soda, both bursting with flavor and kid approved. Everything about Café Davina just hits right. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the people. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel good, and then leave already planning your next visit. Stopped by Cafe Davina back in the fall and was immediately impressed by how beautiful the space is! There are plenty of photogenic spots both inside and outside, lots of seating, and several fun areas to explore. Be sure to check out the outdoor seating, the small side shop, and especially the seating area hidden inside the large tree. The café feels more like an experience than just a coffee stop, and I enjoyed wandering around the property almost as much as sitting down with my drink. As for the menu, I found the food and drinks a bit overpriced for the quality. I ordered a matcha latte with pumpkin cheesecake flavoring, but unfortunately could barely taste any flavoring aside from the oat milk. That said, I think Cafe Davina's biggest strength is its atmosphere rather than its food. It's a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or take photos, and I'd be willing to come back and give other menu items a try. read more

Such an amazingly sweet little café on a wonderful (and recently built-up) property. Came here with a pal for breakfast and got the Suzi Q latte and prosciutto and fig crepe (with Brie instead of goat cheese). Both amazingly delicious. Service was friendly and fast! My friend had the caprese-esque crepe and a cappuccino and loved it also. We sat on the covered porch area with tons of light pouring in on a sunny morning. I would advise to get there before or close to 9am. The place was slammed by 10am (it was also a federal holiday though, too). The property itself is small and delightful, boasting of a magnolia tree with extra seating (don't miss the magic of that) and a boutique-like building selling wares on the weekends. We ended up speaking with the owner who I would classify as "dry and bothered". She wasn't overly friendly and wasn't that interested in talking. I was definitely put off by that, but nevertheless, we had a nice experience at the property. Don't miss Cafe Davina. It's a total gem! read more

The food was great! I had an avocado toast and my friend got something else, we split it and it was really good. The cortado I got was okay, didn't wow me. I'm not sure if it was the pull or the bean. But overall it was good. The actual location is beautiful. I can understand the hype around it and the excitement, its truly really cute. I wasn't a fan of the people in the area. The service from the coffee shop workers was great, outside of that I felt like I was in Get Out lol it was odd but the shop and workers itself were really sweet. read more

Lovely establishment, great for breakfast/brunch with amazing scenery for photos. The staff were helpful and friendly and food came out timely. Ordered the Carrot Cake and Banana Bread Latte, both great! Also had the Strawberry Nutella Crepes and Avocado Toast. Again, both remarkably good and packed with flavor. Magnifique! I have been following Cafe Davina on Instagram since they opened and I finally found myself in Suffolk today, so I made a pit stop at Cafe Davina (CD) to check it out. How can I describe my experience? Just perfect, to put it simply! Cafe Davina is located at the Pinner House property. Look out for the parking signs as you approach the house. Cafe Davina has a trailer next to the building in the parking lot. Quaint little trailer and you have access to the entire property to sit and enjoy your goodies. - Vibe - A special note about The Pinner House - this is a bed and breakfast property located in historic downtown Suffolk. What a gem! It's so peaceful and serene here. I felt like I was immediately transported to another time and place. They had French music playing, and I found the perfect spot in the house in the sunroom. It was both a chilly and gloomy day today, but this visit brighten it instantly! There were so many options for seating and when the weather gets warmer, I would love to sit in the many lovely spots outside. Don't miss the magnolia tree hidden patio. There's also some seating in the courtyard. Just so pretty and beautiful! - Noms & Sips - Honey brie fig crepe - A delicious blend of aforementioned ingredients. What doesn't go with cheese and fig jam? French Toast crepe with added banana - this was my favorite! It has syrup, cinnamon, delicious cream and I added the banana upon the staff member's recommendation and it was spot on! Coming from a girl who has spent most of her life in the French part of Canada, these crepes have my full endorsement. Dare I say they are the best crepes I have had in the 757?! And surprisingly, we do have quite a few options in the area! the crepes were both thin, but not too thin so that the batter is not fried to a crisp (who wants a cracker?), and the toppings were fresh and just high quality. That whipped cream! YUM! Butterfly pea latte - very interesting latte and just so pretty! See pics for latte art! Chai latte - this was also delicious! If you really want an escape from the hustle and bustle of be transported to a slower pace of life, check this place out! This truly is a hidden gem, so don't tell anyone, yeah? I did not expect Suffolk to have one of the most charming cafes. This place is so elegant. It's attached to a boutique B&B. They even have an outdoor provisions area with fire pits to enjoy during your stay. Their syrups are made in house. We tried the birdseye maple and suzi q signature lattés. The honey, brie, & fig jam is everything I've been searching for in a crêpe. Soft yet crunchy, the sourdough made a perfect avocado toast as well. The staff was informative and everything came out fairly quickly. This is such a lovely place to stop by if you're in the area. read more

This is such a cute cafe near downtown Suffolk! The layout is very swanky. I love how they have a variety of seating options including outdoors by a foundation. The baristas are very nice and helpful. I tried the Birdseye Maple latte with oatmilk...it was yummy. The macarons were good. They also have crepes, which I have to go back and try. read more

Located inside a historic bed & breakfast, the cafe is charming and inviting. The staff was friendly and although it was an hour till closing, they didn't make you feel rushed. I ordered the Birdseye Maple latte, one of their signature drinks, with oatmilk. Maple syrup, cinnamon, and sea salt. Delicious. Unfortunately, there was nothing on their menu that I could try. They did offer gluten and dairy free options. However, I have an egg allergy. I knew going in this would be the case (it is a crepe place after all) so it didn't bother me. I do wish that their toast or panini options had some dairy and egg free offerings. read more

We've been to Cafe Davina twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed both visits! We live an hour away but when we need to be in the Suffolk area Cafe Davina is our choice for lunch! The atmosphere is incredibly charming, the paninis and crepes are so delicious and the service is always pleasant yet efficient. Today I had an iced chai tea and a ham, brie. & apricot crepe, the flavors were perfection! Hubs was happy with his mocha and panini, very tasty! Such a lovely setting both inside and outside! The first time we went we ate inside and today we had lunch under the huge magnolia tree! Here are some pictures from both visits, we definitely recommend Cafe Davina! read more
Café Dâvina is a gem. Pinner House is gorgeous and the food is delicious. We had the lemon cream and strawberry Nutella crepes as well as the orange hibiscus latte (one of five seasonal specials!) and butterfly pea flower lemonade. I would definitely get the lemon crepe again and would love to try more items on their menu. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews and try to support small businesses but felt it's worth sharing our experience. Great coffee and food, employees were nice, cute place but I would never give this place my business again because of how we were treated (by potentially the owner? An older blonde woman). 2 moms and I drove ~30 minutes with our 4 young kids. We all got coffee and food. We sat inside in the back to try to talk but once the kids started running around we quickly finished and moved outside as to not disturb other customers. We went into the tree area since it's contained and no other customers were there except another mom with a toddler. Our kids were happy, squealing, chasing each other. Since the lighting was great and the kids were happy we quick took some pics on our iPhone. All 3 of us are military spouses and were just talking about not having many photos with our kids since all our husbands have been deployed or away at trainings for much of our children's lives. So yes, we tried to capture us moms and kids leaving the house and treating ourselves to coffee at a beautiful venue. A blonde lady came out to tell us we aren't allowed to do photoshoots because people pay to use the venue for professional photos. I said sorry, explained we were just using an iPhone to try to get a couple photos, but that we would not take more. After thinking about it I thought I'd go inside to suggest she post a sign if they don't allow photos to be taken on the property. We seriously had no clue it wasn't allowed! I went in to approach her which made it worse and she accused us of not buying anything and letting our kids "run wild, shaking and disturbing the tree while having a 30+ minute photoshoot". I responded we all bought food and drinks, are in leggings and workout pants with zero intent of doing a "photoshoot". Our kids ran around because they are 2-4 years old, have a 30 minute drive home and no other customers were outside anyway. I started tearing which she could see, probably because I'm 38 weeks pregnant! At that she walked away. The 4 year old did spill her milk and an employee cleaned it up, but the friend tipped extra and apologized. We tried our best to get out of the house with 3 kids and a newborn and it's sad we were treated like trash. read more
