I like the inexpensive dishes and pretty good service. I have always loved IHOP as a child and can still find dishes to enjoy as an adult

I usually order pick up and on this day I ordered the omelette with no meat. It was my fault for not checking before leave but we made it home and noticed that they had put the meat on the omelette. Luckily we are not too far away to go back so we can get a new one. I got an apologize but nothing else for the inconvenience. It is what it is. Will I be back? Yes of course. Just lesson learned to check the food before you leave to avoid unnecessary back and forth. By the time we got back home the rest of the food was cold. read more

I came here with the family expecting a typical IHOP experience. This Rosemont IHOP exceeded my expectations! We walked in and there was fun music playing. The waitresses were all kind of dancing along to the beat which made it feel like happy vibes for a Saturday morning. The restaurant was clean and bright. Our waitress Kimberly was very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a variety of food -sirloin tips and eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy combo, eggs, bacon and sausage. Need to hire people who understand what customer services means I was taken to a seat sat down somebody said I'll be right back. Nobody gave me any water three different servers passed by me seeing I had no water but I'm watching them congregate someplace else talking amongst themselves, this used to be my go to place. We stopped late on a weeknight after visiting family in the hospital. The server was great. Keeping my iced tea full will always earn you a good tip. Prices aren't bad. She liked her breakfast burrito and my buttermilk biscuit combo was pretty good. Even though there weren't many people it was noisy. A group of young women went to the ladies room and it sounded like they were holding the door open. I could hear everything they said in there from across the room. Probably the cleanest and tightest run IHOP I've ever seen. I even heard several folks commenting on it as I waited for my order. No stickiness and the staff were sharp. I walked over from our hotel and ordered to go. It was a short wait and my pancakes were cooked to perfection. I appreciated them putting toppings on the side for travel so it didn't get soggy. June 3 2023 Ordered online for curb side pick-up. Says ready at 8:50AM. Went to IHOP, called for our order and one staff said we have to come in to the store since no one is available to our food out. My brother went in and was told it was NOT EVEN COOK YET! He waited for an additional 15 minutes inside. My mom is diabetic and was hungry already. I'm not surprised by the overall 3 stars reviews of this branch. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK! Came here for breakfast on our way from the airport. We received amazing service - so thoughtful and attentive. The food was great too! Veggies in pesto veggie Benedict deserve to be mentioned. I am not completely sure if they are understaffed or something else was going on, but the wait was a little insane. I am the type of person to make excuses for people in food service, but this was unacceptable. It took us forever to get seated with only one other person in the waiting area. Our waiter kept interrupting us while ordering and only came once to check on us. The food was good, it took a while to come out, but it was also busy. We went to pay the bill and there was a huge group of people at the waiting area waiting to be seated and no one came for over 10+ minutes. They tried to call someone over and they looked at us and ignored us. They eventually just seated themselves and it still took a while for someone to come over for us to pay. LOW CALORIE AND HEALTHY Met up with a friend at this IHOP. I wished the IHOP offered healthier choices and more lower-calorie dishes. There are not very many healthy low-calorie choices on the IHOP breakfast menu. I ordered their white egg omelette with spinach, tomatoes & avocados. This dish is under 350 calories. I ordered wheat toast but only ate 1 slice. My dish was served with fresh fruit. This time there were lots of grapes, 2 pieces of pineapples, 2 pieces of honey dew and several pieces of watermelon. ZERO cantaloupe. Their fruit is never consistent from one restaurant to the next no matter which IHOP I patronize. People today are more conscientious about what they eat. They want to eat healthier low-calorie, low-sodium foods. Consumers today are more educated than they were 10 or 20 years ago. IHOP (those who can change the menu) PLEASE add more low calorie, heart healthy, low sodium foods to your breakfast menu. Went in today 6/9/24 and we were sat next to a huge cockroach!!! I wanted to scream because it kept getting closer and closer to our table. Eventually my husband just got up and killed it because we didn't want to cause a scene. The only reason we stood is because we had already placed an order and our kids were starving from walking around all morning at the flea market. This obviously made me loose my appetite. The manager came over to apologize and only asked if we wanted to be relocated to a different table. It was busy so we didn't want to make a big scene with all of our kids. They didn't compensate our food and they didn't offer us anything and the waitress and manager kept coming by our table but what were we really supposed to say to that?? It's challenging finding a good breakfast with a serious dairy allergy and this establishment was no help whatsoever. After looking at their allergen menu online, I asked if there was any way to have a dairy free pancake and I was told the gluten free pancake was also dairy free. That was incredibly incorrect. Well this visit sucked!! First of all it's daddy and son day, so I figured we'd go have breakfast before we start our day. So we go to this IHOP, in my mind I'm getting fluffy pancakes, cooked eggs and delicious orange juice. No , no and NO! The orange juice was nasty , tasted old. The sunny side eggs I ordered were not evenly cooked. The sausage links my son ordered were cold. The pancakes I ate were over cooked and slightly burnt. I don't usually dine at IHOP not will I anymore. Exactly why I cook at home. One more thing , The sever was nice but not attentive , I was not offered coffee, nor ketchup for my potatoes. IHOP is phenomenal! Very nice place to go for breakfast. They have sandwiches, coffee, bread, onion rings, fries, juice, omelets, and others. Their menu is full of amazing breakfast offers. The food here was nice, especially their appetizers and desserts were really great. They serve the orders correctly and on time. Everything was on point and made to order. Definitely the best spot for breakfast. Food was good just like their service. All of their staff was really nice, kind, decent, and professional. They are so awesome and they do their job properly. Such a disgusting experience going to this place!! Sunday March 28/2021 the waitress Judy was soo mean ! First, taking the order. She got mad because I couldn't decide what I wanted to order. Next, she didn't put the order in the kitchen so the order took more than 35 mins to be ready. While I continue asking her what's going on with our oder, she kept saying "it's coming, it's coming right now", and never came until the manager came to my table to let me know that the order didn't scan. Guess what, the order finally came to my table and the owner of the place told me he will discount part of my bill. Two mins later I discovered a hair in my food. I bet that was on purpose.
