I was so excited to have an ihop lunch before Christmas Eve dinner and to my surprise this location decided they were not taking any more customers an hour early at 2pm. I did not understand why I was rejected as I arrived an hour prior to the close time set on the business hours. The manager Jessica was unapologetic and gave absolutely no reason for them closing early and going against what was posted on the business scheduled hours. Close time was at 3pm. Why was the business open then? There were only 3 cars in the parking lot, which I can assume belonged to employees. Did they want no customers the last hour? Food and Service was good. I was impressed with the quality of the food. I like the new menu and options. I ordered the big steak omelette and I asked if it came with a side of hashbrowns. The server told me that the hashbrowns are inside. I said well then I need to put those hashbrowns on the side not in the omelette. The server said OK. The server brought me the omelette and it had the hashbrowns inside. He asked me if I was OK with that and I said I guess I could deal with it, but I want my hashbrowns on the side. He brought me the side of hashbrowns. I enjoyed the meal and when it came time to pay. I seen that the hashbrowns were added to My Bill as a side item. I don't think this is right. I thought I was doing him in the restaurant a favor by not having to remake the food. It is EXTREMELY cold in this restaurant. They are aware they they have a problem with the heat and a/c because they installed mini split a/c units, but that is not enough to keep the restaurant comfortable. The water in the restrooms is also VERY cold. I'm not sure what's going on, but they definitely need to address these issues. Giving credit where credits due, the staff was great. Nice and friendly. Ihop has always been a safe easy place for breakfast. The prices could be a little bit more reasonable for breakfast but I guess we are paying for the convenience of not having to cook. I love their stuffed french toast and their steak tips! My kids love the chocolate pancakes!! Not sure why this new location didn't get better ratings. This is a new IHOP in our area. The atmosphere was excellent all staff went over and beyond to help. This location has something new called a coffee bar. I had the caramel latte and it was pretty good. They give you a lot for your dollar, I couldn't even finish it all. Being that this is IHOP I knew exactly what I wanted. Build your own breakfast. Two eggs, pancakes, crispy bacon and hash browns. My hash browns were a little to cooked for me and my food was not as hot as I would've like it, but it was decent. I love the new hip design. I am glad that we now have a breakfast spot on our side of town. My only criticism of this IHOP would be to make sure your servers are getting the food out hot. I am honestly so tired of even attempting to have a good experience at your Perris location. For the past two weekends, I've dealt with terrible service (mostly courtesy of Sam/Samantha at the front), incorrect food orders with missing items, overcharging, and food that is meh at best. Last weekend, I had to deal with Samantha's poor disposition when she told me that my e-gift cards were possibly "invalid or a scam" because she couldn't enter them. However, she was actually entering the wrong information altogether. This came after she got an attitude when I told her we didn't order a lemonade and asked her to remove it from the bill. Samantha was the icing on the cake, though, because our server was slower than slow and inattentive - I never got a refill the entire time I was seated. This weekend, I placed an online order. Not only was my food not ready when it said it would be, but Samantha rudely told me to get to the end of the line when all I wanted to do was pick up my food and go. When she finally got around to going to get my food - after sighing heavily and rolling her eyes - she came back and tried to rush through giving me my food. I asked for strawberry syrup and told her I'd need a lot. She came back with two. I asked for two more and she was visibly annoyed.she finally came back, gave them to me, then dismissed me. After a late show at the movies, we decided to head over to IHOP for a midnight snack. When it's late we basically only had two places to choose from. Denny's or IHOP. Well, IHOP, you were the winner of the coin toss war and what a colossal of a disappointment. One star is for the strawberry banana pancakes. Fluffy breakfast cake with fresh bananas, strawberry glaze and whipped cream. It was surprisingly pleasing, not too sweet with no extra syrup needed. The Two, two eggs breakfast with pancakes along with the T-bone steak and eggs were cold and not suitable for eating. We were certain that our food was made quickly but hung out away from the heating lamps. The T-bone steak is not featured here for we were too embarrassed to show a picture of what they served us. It looked like it was cooked in a microwave. Let's just say, it's best that you didn't see it. The service was missed with our waiter overwhelmed with the midnight rush. He deserves a star for at least trying. Its doubtful he was in charge of scheduling. It became so hectic that the establishment couldn't even answer the phone that was endlessly ringing. Oh boy. IHOP is a chain so the food's gonna be good. This place was good. Came for Christmas. It was normal. But then I forgot my leftover box as one usually does. Within 2 minutes of leaving I remembered. Went back and it was gone. I figured the least they could do is remake what I lost. Because I bought this lil desert biscuit thing to eat for later so it wasn't even bitten into or anything. I talked to the manager and she said they don't do that. Which I thought was ridiculous. I lost $13 on an overpriced lil desert biscuit and this place can't even replace it for throwing it away?? I obviously forgot my leftover box, the busser did their job and threw it away, but I don't even get it back when I ask nicely?? The manager was not only rude about it but not sympathetic at all. She could give a less of a damn about anybody. The customer is wrong here and no accommodations for dining here and giving them money. This manager is a frizzy redhead who needs an attitude adjustment. No manager has ever spoken to me so rudely before. She said "I'm sorry" with the least amount of sincerity in her face and voice so I said no you don't care and she straight up said no. My family and I went to this location on 11/23/2023. During this visit, the waiter spilled Pepsi on my daughter, which was an accident. He apologized several times and handed US napkins to clean off the table. He brought our receipt over, and I admit I was expecting to at least get her order taken off since our dine in experience was ruined. Nothing was taken off, so I asked to get compensation. They took off 10% and said it was my daughter's fault the drink was spilled on her. I called customer service and was told I would get a call from the "Regional Manager." As of right now, I have not heard back from the RM or supervisor from that location. The manager from the location did reach out to me, basically stating 10% was more than enough. She also mentioned they have "audio recording." So, did they hear my daughter crying because her pants were soaked? No, they did not! Firstly, the chicken was rock hard (may be Walmart chicken). Cousins food was also cold and toast was VERY burnt. Hour long wait for food I did not enjoy. Water tasted like sink water, I know we are in a drought but I need good tasting water. May not sound important but I like good tasting water.
