This was my first time here. It wasn't busy when we arrived, though it did take a bit longer than expected to get our order. I ordered the Island Fire Chicken to go. Is it still chicken katsu without the katsu sauce? That is the question. I ordered chicken katsu to go today and they did not include the Katsu sauce. I ended up using waba sauce left over from a previous order. I will continue to order Java grill over this particular Ono because they understand that ot isn't Wana without the waba sauce. read more

Couple weeks ago I had a take out order and my order was missing around $15 worth of food When I called the location I requested store credit as I lived far away and could not go back to pick up missing items The manager stated she could not give me store credit as that is not how they operate She said I either go back to pick up the food I was missing as she knew they had missed to place in bag and the food items we're sitting on their counter No other option for me. Great place for pick up. Place is very clean. We ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Dish and the BBQ Beef Dish. My favorite is the chicken. The meat is so tender and I liked the marinate. Always a great choice when it comes to last-minute meals. This location has always provided the freshest Chicken Katsu. That and their BBQ mix plate are the only entrees I get. Their mac salad is always on point and I like how they use steamed cabbage as a base under the meat. Tastes great with teriyaki sauce IMO. Make sure to order ahead of time during busy hours. My husband and I went to the Ono Hawaiian BBQ on Case Rd in Perris last Saturday both of ordered the beef meal. I didnt finish Mine, My husband did. When he got home during the night started throwing up and had diaherria for three days off and on, I started same symptoms on Sunday night through today. That meat has to be spoiled. Will never eat there again. Be careful, if they dont cook the meat throughly or if its frozen and they reheat the meat it can get You sick. Not impressed at all !!!!!! If you want all the bells and whistles definitely come here because you will quite literally get that from the cook who clearly didn't appreciate his job and was obnoxiously yawning and whistling. Although his whistle was very annoying I can tell he just didn't like his job and was goofing around to be obnoxious and see what reactions he can gain from customers. I tried to ignore it but literally could not when the whistling was louder than the music, and my conversation. Great food but very annoying cook. Staff at the register was very friendly and helpful, being my first time there I had questions about the combos and she was very patient and led me the right way. Location is clean and spacious, plenty of room for small groups, soda fountain, good sauce and condiment bar. Ended up ordering an Aloha combo with BBQ and Katsu chicken. Served with scoop of rice, Mac salad, and steamed cabbage/broccoli - that was definitely a nice addition ( to add some health value) to this already monster combo. Might even be able to share one of these. The Katsu Chicken was hearty and fried perfectly. The BBQ chicken was cooked very well, but was a little salty for my taste. Visited this place last week on Friday, we were out shopping for groceries and were very hungry so decided to stop t and order a family meal to take home. It took 25 minutes for us to get our meal once I got it I drove home, about 15 miles away and when we are just about to eat my son opened the rice box and right away noticed hair on the rice, not just ok to off the rice but incorporated into the scoop of rice, I took a picture of it and right away called the store, they offered to replace my meal but it was too late, we were tired and hungry and did not feel like waiting another 25 minutes.
