Flame broiler is the well known rice and veggies and meat/tofu bowl place. They usually aren't too busy and have a bunch of people for pick ups more then sit down. They are located right off huan and Newport. The first thing you will notice on the way in is the prices that have jumped a few bucks (they even tape and cross out the changes). But it has for everywhere unfortunately. They have pretty quick service, which makes sense since it's simple to put together. They also give you some customization which is good, and they have a variety of sauces to choose from which is always great. Hot, teriyaki, and more. I always enjoy a place that offers such variety. The bowls were pretty good but the chicken was a bit burnt on a few pieces, and I threw those out. Besides that it's a quick rice bowl that hits the spot! read more

Ah man, im a Flame Broiler lover but this location isn't held to the same standards. The bowl my wife got had 80% veggies with WATER (and NO it's not any juices from the meats) , 10% undercooked rice, 10% meat. I've never been inside but I order all the time on Uber eats and it's always amazing. The taste of freshly off the grill chicken and beef.. never dried , juices are perfect. Rich is the best texture, not even wet or slimy. I thibk the price for a bowl is the correct price for this. My reason is majority food meals are that price , and if you buy meal preps , each prep is 10-12$ so I'm not complaining. Love and should try! Huge bummer. Ordered through the Flame Broiler app, food ended up getting delivered somewhere else through their third party vendor (Uber eats). They told me to take it up with Uber Eats and didn't do anything to help me solve the issue. They gave me a "Uber eats" number that was for merchants program admin. Saw there was an FTDI meal here while doing the 6 week 20lb challenge at Transformation Camp Menifee and boy was I disappointed after getting one. The chicken must have been frozen first then microwaved to order as it was drier than dirt. No sauce makes any meal challenging but I can make a better bowl at home with no sauce. Have never tried anything else here nor will I now that I saw what's hiding under the sauce. FTDI is a clean meal while doing the challenge. This bowl has brown rice, broccoli and chicken.
