Good place to eat, was not crowded, busy, we came around 3PM. My husband is a big fan of the omelettes at IHOP, so we try to get one for him regularly. I had The Big Steak Omelette with a stack of Strawberry Buttermilk Pancakes. My husband got The Spicy Poblano Omelette. He had Pepsi, I had both Diet Pepsi & coffee. The coffee is really good at IHOP, by the way. All the food was great, hot, & yummy. The Omelettes are huge, so you will probably need to request a takeaway box. We both only ate half. The staff were great, brought food out promptly. We only had a little bit of a wait because we came right at shift change, but we were not in a hurry, so the wait did not bother us. I like this location much better than the small, cramped IHOP on Airport Boulevard. This IHOP had three seperate dining areas, both tables and booths. Great food. Thanks for having us. read more

Wish I could give a zero! Told it was a 15 minute wait......took us over an hour and a half to get seated and get our food!! Had two small kids with us. Table of about 10 grown rude LOUD adults behind us who could not control their mouths or their attitudes towards the wait staff. They were packed this Sunday morning because of the storm that passed but Our waitress was very friendly and accurate. I was surprised at the low rating for this location of IHOP. It is very clean and spacious compared to the Airport Blvd. location in Mobile. Hubby and I stopped in for an early lunch today. We both opted for the grilled tilapia with two sides of vegetables plus drinks. Our food was great and I would definitely go back for another meal. The service was wonderful. The last time I'd been to the TC IHOP was several years back and I swore I would not go back. Well, they remodeled and it is MUCH cleaner. The service was attentive and fast too. First time at this location. Restaurant dirty and not cleaned between guests. Food took extremely long to come out and when it did everything was cold. Not just cold like it sat in the expo window. It's Christmas night, and we were starving. No desire to cook so we decided to go get something. The closest thing to us was either Waffle House or IHOP. So we chose IHOP. We got here and they tell us it's a 45 minute wait. So we wait. Within 10-15 minutes there were several parties that left, complaining they had been waiting on their food for an hour and still had not been served. We get seated in about 15-20 minutes. We sit down our waitress Nicole tells us the Kitchen is super backed up and that they are out of burgers and chicken. We order and the food arrived in a fairly normal time frame. Her attitude was very exceptional for a person who has obviously been emotionally and physically overworked this day. She treated us like we were the first customers of the day. They have recently come under new ownership so my husband and I decided to give it another shot. They have updated both the interior and the exterior which made it look good. They brought back the checkout to the door, like it used to be. The service was good, still needs to updated, and the food was great. We ordered and the food seemed to get there before we knew it. We both ordered french toast combo platters, mine was the Strawberry Banana and my husbands was the Banana Foster. I ordered a Splashberry to drink and my husband ordered a mocha iced coffee. The waitress seemed to keep my husbands drink full while it took my drink being empty for a few minutes before she decided that I needed a refill, close to us getting ready to leave. My husband and I had the best experience ever in an IHOP last Saturday. It was crazy busy and we didn't wait more than 5 minutes and we're ready to order when the waitress came the table. She turned around got out drinks and turned back around and pick up and delivered our food to the table. Seriously, we could have been happier with the food and service. Keep up the good work. Me and my nephew dined here for a late night sweet treat. If my memory serves me right I believe it was a Wednesday night. The friendly IHOP associate brought us our beverages and took our orders with a smile and a quick step. I ordered the big stack of buttermilk pancakes and my nephew had an omelette with a stack of strawberry and whipped cream pancakes. A light conversation and before we knew it here comes our order. One of the best ever stack of hot pancakes I've had in quite a while was placed before me and my nephew had a Colorado omelette and his stack of strawberry and cream pancakes laid down in front of him. My cakes were fluffy and steaming hot, nothing wrecks a stack of hot pancakes worse than cold dabs of butter and cold syrup, So, we got our server to melt us some butter and heat up some syrup in the microwave and we commenced to dressing the cakes with buttery sweet goodness. From the first bite until the last these pancakes were off the chain as they say with some hot coffee and my nephew was ummm ummm ing to a tune of delight. His omelette was of the size that would have satisfied the hunger of Godzilla. The batter mix was perfect , a real cake texture. I don't often find pancakes this good. They were so good in fact I made comments to our server that the cook knows pancakes and how to cook them, she also does a heck of an omelette too. I kept giving the thumbs up. She came over and chatted a bit before having to get back to cooking. I believe she said she works Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Saturday plus Sundays. This will be my last visit here. The bad news first. The menus really needs a cleaning. They were some some of the stickiest and dirtiest menus I've seen. This place must do a better job with the cleanliness. The couple that came in behind us were seated to a booth with a clean table and dirty seats. They would not sit down due to this. The waiter came back and cleaned the seats, but they stood standing for 2-3 minutes waiting for seat to dry. The family beside had to request new beverages because the glasses weren't clean. Hearing, seeing, and experiencing this unclean place was a very bad dining experience. If we didn't have gift cards that were given to us, we wouldn't have eaten there. I've been here for breakfast a handful of times in the past, and it's been fine. Food was what you would expect from an IHOP, coffee was fine and service was fast & efficient, even when they were terribly busy. That all changed yesterday. Decided to bring the fam for a Labor day breakfast, in that we were out of eggs at home. When we arrived, the restaurant was approx 75% busy. People were waiting at the front. The first thing you noticed was the poor gentleman-employee at the front. He was running to and fro; the hostess station, the cashier station, seating people, etc. However it seemed like he wasn't getting much accomplished with all his running around. And was he the only employee working? The other servers we did see just seemed to be strolling around. After finally getting the guy's attention, we get our name on the list and wait. They assign you a 'name' (Sleeping Beauty, Denzel Washington), which I thought was entirely pointless. However the 85 yr old lady waiting nearby was absolutely tickled to be named 'Denzel'. Finally 20 minutes or so later, we are seated. They squeeze 4.5 (.5 for the 8 mo old in the car seat) into one of their smaller booths. Mmmmmm... I don't think so. So we relocate ourselves to the next table over, a regular table with a little more elbow room. And then we wait for our drinks. And then wait to take our food order. And then wait for our food order. My husband and I both got the Ham & Cheese Melt, which in the past has been a pretty tasty sandwich, but this time not so much. Everything about it was greasy, and not in a good way. I don't know if it was because it was just hastily thrown together, or that is just how they make them now. Won't be ordering that again (if we return). While waiting initially for our table, you have time to look around at the floors and the stations.... they looked unclean. While waiting for our food orders, I had to bring my son to the restroom to be changed, good thing I didn't have to go myself and my son didn't have to touch anything either as it was rather gross as well. I've heard if the bathrooms in a restaurant aren't clean, then the food prep areas aren't going to be much better. Blech. Our nice breakfast out took 2 hrs (when 45 min- 1 hr would have been more appropriate) and $50 bought greasy (again, not in a good way) food for four. May have been a bad day and the place could use a cleaning, but now I just have a bad taste in my mouth about this particular location. Probably not returning. read more

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews... well, maybe I do. I live in the area and this is our go-to diner when I don't feel like cooking. I've been going there for years and there are a few things to know. First off, the turnover is amazingly high. I don't believe I've ever seen a wait staff member more than twice there. I'm assuming that's a management issue, but I can't say for certain. Either way, that has never really affected the service we've gotten. I think there was only one time I had a complaint, but the girl I didn't like was never to be seen again. I have to wonder if those complaining here are ex-employees. I mean, I don't know, but given the turnover rate and since I go all the time and I've never had a really bad experience, I have to assume that to be the case. I could be wrong though. The only time I had a problem was when I ordered soup. The waitress gave me a coffee spoon to eat the soup with. Really? A coffee spoon? I asked for a soup spoon and she said, "We don't have any." I raised my eyebrow skeptically at her. "Somehow," I said, "I don't believe that." She actually told me, "Well last night they threw them away." ???!!! That was an obvious lie. I didn't bother trying to speak to a manager because it was a simple spoon, but the next time I went I said I didn't want to be at her station and they didn't even know who I was talking about. lol! The food is always fresh and hot. I've never gotten anything cold and it's your typical iHop. I have a real problem with people expecting Red Lobster type service and food at an iHop. The place is clean too. If you've read any of my reviews before, you know that I'm a bathroom inspector. You can tell a lot about any food establishment simply by peeking into the bathroom. If they can't keep that clean, then what else are they not keeping clean? Know what I'm saying? Well this one has a clean bathroom all the time. I've never seen it bad. As for the complaints about the sticky menu, they need to get over it. No restaurant cleans their menus after every use. NONE. So it was sticky, just ask for another or let the wait staff know. That's such a minor issue that a person who would complain about that would likely never be happy. All in all I think it's just your average iHop and has your average service. read more

As a counter to the last comment or review as it were I'm not and have never been employed at ihop. I had horrible service waiter just disappeared after taking our food order no drink refill while we waited and no update on when our food would be ready. The restaurant smelled aweful and the food was the wrong temperature. Cold eggs I mean talk about gross soggy hashbrowns aweful! Pancakes where good but come on its a pancake no awards givin there.we were 2 out of 4 customers at the time. We will never be returning and I speak for 10 people! Ordered curbside delivery online. When I got there and called the number it would not work. I called it 4 times and it would never go through. I go inside and let a lady know I was there to get my food and that I had called the number for curbside and said it was not working. Instead of being polite she promptly responds very rudely with "It's working you just dialed the number wrong!" This was the worst breakfast I have ever had in my life. The service was terrible. I ordered a cheese and Ham omlette and it was served to me absolutely cold. We had waited 30 minutes for it to be served and I can assure you it sat all that time and became cold. When I sent it back they simply stuck in in the microwave and heated it back up.
