The food is pretty good. My favorite is pancakes, hash Browns, and country fried steak. The coffee is quite good also. It's cold in here too. My biggest problem is the waitresses. None of them are professional, quiet, or courteous. They're all either obnoxious, incompetent, or just plain make it clear they hate you and their job. They really made me want to leave before I even got my meal. read more

Came in after a football game, there were 7 of us. Ordered our drinks and food then waited for it. Took over 2 hours to give us our food and then found out that it was just sitting there and our server just disappeared for 45 minutes. When we finally got our food most of it was cold and at that point we were all ready to go. read more

Waited 10 minutes and never saw a host to seat us or take our name. There were 3 families waiting as well. We finally went into the restaurant to tell them people were waiting to be seated and they said "we know". I can't rate the food because we never got that far. read more

Stopped in here real early on weekday. Ready for a hot, tasty meal and that's what I got! Was greeted right away, seated, and drinks promptly. Service was pleasant and accomodating. Food was served fast, fresh and very tasty. My husband and I were very pleased with the entire visit. Will come again when in the area read more

I stood for almost 15 mins before they seated me. There was no one in the restaurant so I don't understand why it took so long. Also it was freezing. The few people that was in there had long sleeves on on and 81 degree night!!! read more

We came in at 11o'clock for a late night dinner, we did not get seated for 30 minutes, there were multiple waitresses just sitting around in the back, wasn't very many customers. It took another 30 minutes just for them to take our drink order, and then an hour to get food. The food was absolutely horrible. I normally do not leave bad reviews, but this was by far the worst IHOP I've ever been to. read more

Food took so long to get here we were getting super tired and it was super cold and the business was slow but there was a lot of workers and a lot of people came in waiting like half an hour like an hour or so this is the worst place ever if anything go to waffle House if you want breakfast read more

IHOP - your prices are to high (average breakfast $11,lunch $12 and dinner $14) and the quality and portions do not match ! Our last visit we ordered a burger with fries and a spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings. Both plates came with literally a "few" fries and rings and the sandwiches were beyond basic - our tab ! $30 with a tip - wow/crazy. Interesting enough as we left we noticed a Texas Roadhouse across the street - for curiosity we stopped and looked at their menu to see what we could have gotten - we could have ordered 2 sirloin tip complete dinners for the same $30 tab !! We will not go back to IHOP ever again ! read more

This location has poor customer service. It's the only one near my home and they are ALWAYS behind. Togo orders are never ready at the time quoted. And management does not seem to care about customer experience. The food is pretty good for the price, but staff s terrible. I probably will not be returning. read more

IHOP - Simple and fit breakfast. It was really good! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Liberty, Missouri

Way to expensive... especially for barely warm breakfast! But we Got seated promptly and order taken right away. Live locally and won't be going back anytime soon. read more

I feel that this restaurant is good at different times of the day. First off, my waitress was very pleasant and I enjoyed her as my waitress. Next came the food....I was hungry and decided to get a hamburger AND pancakes so that was all sorted and I waited. Once I received my food I started to eat it but as soon as I took a bite of the hamburger I could definitely tell it was those nasty frozen patties...Which is fine whatever but I expected better. Mind you I'm ordering this at 2 in the afternoon so who knows. I ordered hash browns with that because I got pancakes but the hash browns themselves were chewy like gum which was unpleasant to say the least. The only thing that really made the whole trip decent was the lemonade ice tea, aka Arnold Palmer, which was really good haha. All in all I'd say this place was alright but definitely won't be going there for a while. Sorry for the formatting I'm more of a "spill all my thoughts out at once" kind of person. read more

Too bad I can't give 0 stars.......waited 10 mins for our waitress to even greet us the another 20 mins for a splash berry and an iced coffee as their air conditioner started leaking on top of us.... they are too gross to even clean the water dripping from their hvac system on patrons and tables. Very dirty and horrible service! read more

Always very good food here. We never have any complaints. Staff seems to be friendly enough. But every time we have been there it's like visiting Antarctica. You walk into a walk-in freezer and they tell you they cannot turn the AC down so if you are one who loves cold weather you will especially enjoy the climate inside this restaurant, and even more if it's hot outside. But if not, wear your longjohns and a sweatshirt! read more

After months of a strange bathroom smell, the place smelled much cleaner. But tonight Ihop was heated at a toasty 85 degrees. Three little boys all under 12 years old had the run of the place. Literally. Running from the extra seating section to the kitchen past my booth constantly. One missed and landed in my booth. They wrestled each other to the floor and threw booster chairs. They belonged to an employee who did not corral them for 20 minutes. Then the meal. I ordered salad and soup. Simple. Bearing in mind the waitress was a trainee, it took 35 minutes to get my meal, then in stages. They brought out the salad without dressing or soup. They brought out the dressing 5 minutes later. The soup of the day trailed by another 5 minutes. Guess what, it was cold and I sent it back to be reheated. My loaded country potato soup was anything but that. Very thin yellow base with 10 or 12 1/2 inch potato cubes that were either very mushy or hardly cooked and . . . wait for it . . . one single piece of onion with a few bacon-like bits. The soup was not loaded with anything. Plus it was served with the spoon in it and the handle was covered in soup. For $4, I got a cheap condensed canned soup that had next to nothing in it. My salad was sufficient and the greens were fresh this time. I ordered the dressing on the side and was surprised when it came in a cup instead of the Kraft packets that they usually toss on the table. I keep giving this place another chance but I am always disappointed. Strange smells in the past. Not having items on the menu. Staff that is not well trained. Seriously, how hard is it to serve a single meal at one time and hot. An empty coffee pot always left on the table despite the fact I don't order coffee. Long wait times. More than once, I have gotten a discount for problems without asking for it. read more

I stopped in after church on Saturday. I was seated quickly but waited 10 minutes before anyone took my drink order. I place my food order at the same time. I questioned the manage about my order 30 minutes later thinking I had been forgotten. 1 hour and 20 minutes later my food still had not arrived. I finally left hungry and a bit upset. read more

The host was very nice & friendly but the waitress had no personality, our food took forever and it was not crowded at all. I asked if I can substitute my fries for a salad & she told me yes but charged me for a side salad anyway. The kids meal do not come with drinks, that's extra. You can get such better quality service/food somewhere else. I don't recommend IHOP. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Two of us went in at 2:30 in the morning. At that time in the morning you would expect things to be slow enough that service would be decent, right? Nope, totally wrong. We stood at the hostess stand for over 5 minutes while at least 6 servers walked right by us. One told us that someone would be right with us, but that wasn't the case. All the servers seemed to be concerned with laughing with each other back in kitchen, which could be clearly heard up front. When someone did finally pay attention, she sits us right in the middle of several other loud tables. With the restaurant nearly empty, it would have been nice to be seated away from the drunken club-goers, which we clearly were not. After noticing that all of the tables were getting lame service, we decided to leave before even getting our drinks. Will not be going back to this location ever again. read more

The service is awful. Takes forever to get meals out. Empty seats and still a 15 minute wait.

Dirty. Very slow. Staff not caring. Do youself a favor. Drive about a mile west to The Corner.

Used to love coming here, but recently the food has been either cold or not cooked properly. They run out of drinks/food easily, and the new waitresses seem to slack off rather than check up on their customers. Wouldn't recommend coming here anymore read more

We go to IHop quite often, it is never perfect, but normally pretty close; this time however it was a mess, to put it nicely. We ordered our drinks, the server brought two coffees, we ordered one, she then had to ask for the drinks again. So we reordered drinks, she got them all right but forgot my water, I eventually asked a bustboy for a water, he brought it but the glass had lipstick on it. We got our food, pancake felt like a brick, we had to ask for jelly for toast, the fruit that was supposed to be on my daughter's pancake was not there, so we had to ask for that. I could go on and on, but it was a disaster. Very disappointed. read more

Took forever to get a server and while she was getting our drinks another server came to get our drink order again. Servers didn't seem to know which tables were theirs. This place is extremely bad and the service was very late food being dropped on the ground and served.

There were more employees than customers I'm sure as you could hear them all in the back. Three tables in the place had people, not large parties, and yet service was lacking. Restaurant was cold and bathrooms like a furnace. Our meal came out in two parts and we were told the cook initially made the wrong pancakes. Rarely saw employees interact with tables or check in on us. Husband had to go to the back and yell for someone to take our money. read more

IHOP - Not exactly two pieces of ham the menu showed or advertised. Hash browns were burnt on the bottom and eggs more over easy than over medium. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Liberty, Missouri

This place is hopeless. The food is never good. Never fresh. Just a total waste of time and money. Last time we went it smelled like vomit really bad. Table was sticky and floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. Service sucks too. Our waiter never checked up on us once. We had to go to the register to pay because he never brought our ticket. If you have absolutely NO other place to go eat then this shit hole will do. But honestly I could get better food and service at McDonald read more

Usually I'm impressed with IHOP, well my opinion has changed due to this IHOP. My girlfriend spent $27.38 on absolute garbage. Our food was cold, took forever to get service and there were only two other table besides us. I wouldn't take a dog here. read more

Went there for dinner with family. We had a new waiter that was not sure of his job. The manager was not really managing he was cleaning up after the waiters. The cooks were still confused on the orders that the waiters sent in 45 minutes later and we still not get our food. We walked out of the restaurant. Due to this experience we will not be visiting that Ihop again. read more

The service is good. The food is good. But the rate of speed the kitchen works at is terrible. This is out second time here and it's the same. They don't do the tickets in the order they are out into the kitchen. We don't know if we will return a third time. read more

Service was bad and they got my order wrong the first time so I had to wait 20+ min for my actual order and it wasn't good

We love IHOP. However this location is horrible. Service is ridiculous. But we tried again tonight and wnded up walking out. There were only 5-6 occupied tables, plenty of servers and we still were sitting there for 20 minutes without our drinks...let alone our order being taken. We ended up walking out because our kids were hungry. That was the last time we will go back to this location. read more

The food is great, but when I went their they ran out of coffee, how do they run out of coffee!! But other than that it was ok

This IHOP is horrible. Watched 3 tables walk out and the servers were hiding in the back. I asked 3 times for the district or general manager details and they said they would go get it and of course NEVER came back. Don't waste your time. read more

Hands down the worst dining experience ever. Arrived and was seated at our table. After five minutes we were finally greeted by a server. We ordered drinks and food. Another 5 minutes go by he finally returns with beverages. After another 25 minutes the server returns and tells us he forgot to put in our order. at that point we left and went to Corner Cafe where we were given a free cinnamon roll for horrible experience at IHOP. Save the trip go to Corner Cafe or even Waffle House. IHOP in Liberty Missouri is a joke. read more

I don't particularly like giving bad reviews but this one needs to be made. The restaurant is in a nice location and is a very nice facility. The two restaurants next door had full parking lots but this one didn't .... Now I know why. We walked in and there is just one table with people at it and no host in sight. We wait for probably 5 minutes as rap music is blaring out of the back. Our waitress finally shows up to seat us and is very friendly. She takes our drink order and promptly bring them out. She then leaves so we can look at our menus and then doesn't return for a very long time. She takes our order and repeats them to us with perfect accuracy then disappears for a very very long time. She finally returns with part of our food. She's missing my wife's pancakes and gives me my order only it looks like they got stingy with the ham. As matter of fact the photo of the meal shows 2 full oval slices of ham. What's on my plate is a half of 1 slice cut into 2. They were literally 2 bite size pieces. I said something to the waitress and she just said sorry it's really just 2- 1/4 of a slice. Then she took forever bring my wife's pancakes out, which was the main course of her meal. I was almost done eating my meal and she was almost done with everything else she had by the time this happened. It doesn't stop there. I was told to pay up front so I go up and proceed to wait. Nobody came to take care of it and I had to go ask if someone could come up so I could pay and one girl looks at somebody else and says "not me I'm off the clock!" What a disappointing meal! I won't be returning anytime soon! Oh and it was cold in there and hotter than you know where in the bathroom. This was on a 90 degree day! read more

I ate at this location many times im my lifetime . But the last fee times i have been the absolute worst experience ever. A few months ago my boyfriend and i had gone in for a late night "dinner" and our order concluded with a stack of pancakes . Mind you it took 45 MINUTES to recieve these . Last time was a couple weeks ago we went with a friend . I ordered biscuits and gravy , on top of waiting 10 minutes for a drink i had an additional 45 minute wait in one biscuit with some gravy. So long the others ate and i ended up taking it to go , this waitress was working her butt off to get us this meal and by the time we left she was in tears . Nothing she did was bad it was the rest of the environment and service , So i decided why not i will give it one last try. Tonight we go in once again and guess what.... another 45 minute wait for biscuits and gravy? The "manager" looked very unprofessional and he was also not so "sorry" about the wait time . I tried this place 3 times in the last couple of months and this has been the worst customer service i have seen . This location will not be seeing me there again. #sorrynotsorry read more

Breakfast at 9:00 am on a Monday, the place is empty. It takes 10 minutes for a server. I order rye toast with eggs. Burnt white toast arrives. Waitress never returns for the "check up". I flag her down and explain the problem. More white toast arrives, this time it is barely toasted. I give up on the toast. People in the kitchen area are yelling at each other. Owner asks how breakfast was, tell him about the toast, he shrugs. Never will I darken their door again, and neither should you. read more

Our server appeared to be on speed or high on something. Absolutely horrible service. Waited for a very long time for our food. All the adults were served and ate our food while we were still waiting on pancakes for our little kids. Went to tell the manager we needed the pancakes and she got confrontational and did not care about her customers, she got very aggressive and said she had to back up her server. Also, almost every single table in the place had dirty plates, cups, silverware, left over from past customers. Alsmost no place to sit because no one was busing any tables. PLEASE, boycott this IHOP. I can't believe the owner of this restaurant would allow this to go on. read more
