The service was good. Nice waitress. Sorry to say though, the good service does not make up for the terrible quality of the food. I ordered scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and pancakes. The eggs were average, the hashbrowns tasted like mold/mildew. I took one bite of the hashbrowns and spent the next five min trying to keep from losing what was in my belly. The whip cream on the pancakes melted and made them very soggy. The overall experience was a 2 out of 10. We had screaming kids sitting on both sides. Basic IHOP. We go because he really likes it and it's a block from our crib, otherwise I probably wouldn't seek this out. Any IHOP really. Service is always good, this location is always packed on weekend mornings but they move you in and out pretty quickly. One thing I have to mention about this particular location is the smell. It always smells like mildew. I can almost guarantee that this places floods frequently and doesn't get properly cleaned up. It's not strong enough to be a deal breaker though. Food's pretty good, not a pancake fan so I can't speak about those. He gets them sometimes and they look pretty small to me. I do not like the fact that you get nothing with an omelette. It does not come with hash browns which I think sucks. They're not cheap either so I think they should be included. I do like that you can get a quick two egg breakfast for like $7.00. This IHOP is always packed for week end mornng/late morning Breakfast and is always worth the wait. I like to get the Hamburger with the Egg over easy on top. My girlfriend and I came here for lunch at around 12:10. We had an amazing waiter who's name I believe was Dion. He was awesome. We sat down he came up to us immediately and was polite and very friendly. Checked on us multiple times as we were eating to make sure we were happy with our food, and was courteous to us when we asked for the check quickly so we could get back before our lunch breaks were finished. This place is a hit or a miss. I had terrible service and the server only came twice to check on us. No drink refills, no ketchup for our hash browns and it took her 20 minutes for our check. Love this iHop, food is never greasy like other nasty iHops I've been, always tasty, and I've never had any issue with the waitresses, so I guess it's well managed or simply the employees care. I walked into an EMPTY restaurant at 2:03AM. I sat down and a hot chocolate was brought to me immediately. Shortly thereafter another table came in and suddenly my server was in the weeds. It took a while, but she finally got back to me to get my order. Then I sat there...and sat there...with an empty hot chocolate...nobody checked on me...and sat there...and sat there. Finally at 2:45AM I had enough and walked out. I called IHOP to speak to a manager. It took 10 rings to answer the phone. And the manager wanted to deny I was there that long. Sorry, ma'am I absolutely was there that long. There were only 3 tables (including me) when I left and you got NO FOOD out the window for the :42 mins I was there. So impressed!! We ordered 4 meals plus a couple of extra sides very late last night from a delivery service. Every single dish was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection! I ordered the mushroom spinach omelette with some add ons and I have to say it was the most beautiful omelette I think I've ever seen. And it was a delicious as it looked! I stand up at the hostess stand to gain attention after standing for 2min the hostess returns I explain that we have been waiting 20 min and have waited inside and name was never called but see it is marked off. She made the excuse that she didn't see me. I told her she didn't see me and she didn't call my name. She said id be next. Waited another 2min and a new hostess came over and said how did I pronounce this name. I tell her excuse me I am next my name is Jessica I have been on the list for twenty minutes and was never called. One hostess/server said oh there only three ppl that were seated after you. (I thought to my self)I'm excuse me no name should have been seated after me. And how is that your excuse, anyways Our server said okay let's go she was very nice and annoyed by the lack of support from the house of staff, she was excellent food was average and got cold quickly because of how cold it was in the restaurant but that's normal. Perhaps it's a way to get people in and out quicker. They only reason I stayed was because we had a gift card to use. Overall we will not be returning to the establishment. Disgustingly dirty location. There were flies everywhere, staff coming in and out of the (empty) restaurant yelling and smoking, and only one employee doing any of the work on a Sunday afternoon. That would explain all the crumbs on the booth seat and the sticky table top. The last employee failed to wipe down the table after their shift. I would not be surprised to see this location closed in another year. The manager was on site, watching his employees loudly talking to visiting friends at the front of the restaurant, and did not even bother to greet the one and only customer in the restaurant (me) for 45 minutes on a Sunday.
