Kids Silver Dollar Pancakes

This IHOP is less than 5-minutes from our home. It's a newer IHOP so it does look cleaner and more updated than other IHOPs we've been at. I think it's weird that their kids meals don't have a choice of juice beverage included without a surcharge. Service is okay and food is cooked as requested.

Usually have a good time here. Today pancakes were cold. Ordered a garden veg omelette and asked to replace broccoli with the peppers/onions and told it's an upcharge. A vegetable for vegetable should never be. Especially since broccoli is more expensive in the stores. Asked for light cheese on omlette and it was loaded on top. Just not a good experience this morning. Serve was great. Not her fault at all. Kitchen needs to listen to requests.

This was good for an IHOP. Not that I don't love IHOP, I just never find them to be a 5 star experience. The server was nice and the place was pretty calm and clean for an IHOP at 2pm on a Sunday. My favorite part, which applies to all IHOPs, were the newer additions to the menu. By the IHOP Creations. I had the pancake sliders which were breakfast sandwich with pancakes as the bun. They had a few other creative options too like the ultimate waffle stack. I'm actually interested in going back to try and few more. Good experience

I really like iHOP. I know, I know it's a chain and it's nothing too special. But those lazy Sunday/Saturday Mornings where I don't feel like traveling far. I really like heading to this iHOP in Franklin Park. The line sometimes is long but I've never waiting more than 20 minutes. If you go earlier or after brunch time, there's hardly a wait. For better or worse, the calories are listed on the menu, so you know exactly what you're getting yourself into. They have a myriad of breakfast and combo options to you can always find the perfect breakfast that will fit your needs. Be it waffle, crepe, pancakes, eggs, sausage, omelets, or bacon. Also their vanilla coffee is awesome! Today I got the double blueberry pancakes, hash browns, two bacon strips, and two eggs sunny side up. It really hit the spot!

We had a lovely experience at dinner. The waiter was attentive without being overbearing. Our order came out quickly and correctly. It tasted great too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! The menu focuses on traditional breakfast dishes, which are available all day. But there is also a nice assortment of other choices. We all had breakfast dishes which tasted great! There are often coupons available in various weekly mailers I receive.

Terrible service. Staff is extremely rude even the manager. They REFUSE to respect mine and my families vegetarian diet. I ask for hashbrowns well done and they are barely cooked. Burnt toast. This is not a one time occasion either. By far the worst ihop i have ever been to.

I've been going to this IHOP location for about a few months now. Every time I return the staff and atmosphere never seems to disappoint at all. I've ordered the steak tips and eggs and smoke house combo for breakfast. Pancakes have been consistent in make and texture. I highly recommend for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Coming into this venue, I was impreseed, but once we were sat at a table after waiting at least 7minutes out service wasf a disappointment. We waitinf quite some time b4 our server final came to acknowledge us and take oir drink order. Then she disappeared and drinks never arrived for another wait time of 7-10 minutes, then literally 30seconds later our food order came. Its not just this IHOP, but my eggs were gross. It tasted rotten, my coffee tasted so old and burnt. Yhe best part of todays breakfast here was my water with lemon.

I loved the atmosphere; it felt warm, cozy, and like just the place you'd want to spend an evening in October. Service was very friendly! Lots of smiles and suggestions about the menu. My friend and I ordered the skillet honey butter cornbread, the mini tacos, and the devils on horseback- bacon wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese!! Yum! There was honestly no favorite amongst them- each one was perfect. We cleaned all three plates! Overall, the Rocky Hill Inn was worth the 45 minute drive. I'll be dreaming of my next trip here until then!

The French onion soup is just as good and one of the best in the area. It's so good we had it when it was over 95° degrees outside and still worth it. They've changed the chicken meatballs in the last 2 years since I've been there - much less slaw (which was a unique highlight). These were dry and tasted overcooked and tough. My chicken Milanese was also overcooked and tough. The chicken was right at that cusp of brown to burnt with some pieces being burnt and difficult to chew. My husband's fried chicken from his sandwich (much much thicker piece of chicken) was fine so it makes me wonder if it was cooked at the same time. The prices are still reasonable for a nicer pub / gastropub which is appreciated.

We ended up going for a family Sunday lunch and now we go here instead of Longhorn. My parents are picky and they liked it. They also say it's the only restaurant with tomato juice they actually like, which is a bigger deal than it sounds if you know them. Shepherd's pie is good. Wings are great. Still trying to get here for wings happy hour one of these days. Big fan of the seating options too. There's outdoor, tables and booths near the bar, and tables and booths away from the bar, so you can pick depending on who you're with and how loud you want it. Had to ask a bunch of other servers for deserts menu and final bill. Such a poor service from such an established tavern. Food was very average too. This was my fourth time visiting this place and yesterday was the worst. Our nachos were burnt and barely any cheese on it, brownie desert was almost cold and not warm enough and I couldn't find a server to request rewarming it. Flatbread was just okay. Our only saviour were our drinks which were amazing as always. We decided not to order main course, just get a dessert and get out. Overall our anniversary dinner was a disappointment.

The ambience and layout of the place is cool, but everything else was 'decent'. The cheese ball in the Burrata Caprese was the smallest Burrata that we've ever been served. The cheese/salad/bread all tasted fine, but the size of the ball was laughable. For both of the burgers, the presentation really needs some work, and the style/format of the toppings was very odd. Both burger patties had a uniform flatness around the edge, they seemed like pre-formed patties that are bought in bulk (possibly frozen). The Bleu Bacon & Apple burger comes with Gorgonzola cheese (despite Bleu in the name) - so I was expecting the typical layer of Gorgonzola crumbles that are melted into the top of the patty... but this burger came out with a layer of large cheese chunks (like the cheese cubes you would be served on a charcuterie board). The apple topping was also laid out in unexpectedly large chunks over the cheese cubes (it seemed like a chunky version of applesauce). The Landing Burger didn't come out with the listed chipotle aioli, and both of our french fries were overdone - I usually don't mind toasty brown fries, but these were a bit too hard for me to look past the crispiness. The Blue Coastal gimlet and the Creamsickle margarita drinks were decent as far as taste, but the presentation could use some work (mainly for the gimlet - it looked a bit amateur with a dusty-looking lime wedge on the rim, and with the bright blue colored liquid not being filled closer to the brim). Our server was friendly and chill. Nothing was necessarily "bad" - but several different areas could really use some work for the food/drink quality to match the nice atmosphere of this spot.
