Mother's Day Brunch was amazing! All the food was delicious! The chef was very personable as well!

Interesting experience! Even though it's tucked in a hotel, we had some really good food and a nice date night here. The brussel sprout appetizer was so good I think we are every last morsel. Yummy cocktails, good beer options. There was a snafoo with my order. I ordered the Impossible Burger that was supposed to come with an aioli spread. It did not. When the server was talking about the burger she mentioned that a lot of vegans get it, but I did not say I was one. I believe the aioli was omitted because it was not vegan. But, once I told her the issue she brought me out a dish of the spread and all was good. My spouse ordered the tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them. Next time you are in the area check this place out!

The apps were really good here. I want to come back and try some of the other entrees. The bolognese was tasty and I just did not prefer the chicken sandwich. The burger seemed popular and I'll try that next time. I would recommend overall. Service was good. Apps alone would bring me back.

Looking for a brew and a light meal, this place really hit the spot. Starting with the Grilled Shrimp and Shishito Peppers with Sweet Chili Glaze, Thai Basil Sea Salt it was a sign of an excellent entrée to come. For dinner, I ordered the Fish & Chips -- Daily Catch, Malt Vinegar, Beer Batter, Tartar Sauce, Buttered Smashed Peas. My only complaint about this dish is actually how the menu reads. Yes, it does say Fish AND Chips, but my brain had to pause a moment when I told the waitress what I wanted because the "chips" part is not on the list of preparations. Plus, when it did arrive, the peas were far from being "Smashed", which would have been a new experience I was looking forward to too. In the end, though, the fish was fried really well -- not greasy at all. The peas, though not smashed, were tasty. Finally, the fires, not listed, were great as well. To top all the above, the beer list is welcomingly long and well explained -- though that sounds simple, it is something not always found at bars with an extensive beer selection. My final comment is that I believe I knew about this place for years before actually coming here. I heard the place was newly renovated, and it certainly looks that way. I believe my only complaint about the location itself is that there are so many hard surfaces I would think it would get amazingly loud if it was crowded.

New Hope was a wonderful choice -and the salt house made it incredible with such a delicious lunch. I chose this place because I knew it was an amazing setting, and I expected decent food. Each time we return I am met with a 1-2 star review feeling based on cost / billing / and service I just can't shake. Go for the food. Stay because you get left for untold amount of time. Service is slow. We've been there 4 times and 1 time service was amazing. This last time we went, we were sat a table that was not a dinner table. I think it was an ill sized coffee table with a table cloth on it. The adults knees were above the table and the kids were sat in a couch that hit the floor. No mention or thought was given to who was sitting in this ridiculous makeshift table. Finally and the reason I was compelled to write a review - watch your bill. You have to put a downpayment down for reservations and 1x I went this was not deducted from my bill - I should have checked of course before I left, but last time I did not and had to go back and forth a few times to get my money back. And finally, soft drinks / lemonade. Glasses are small, packed with ice and when the server asks "do you want another drink" - he doesn't mention it will be nearly 5 dollars for minute maid lemonade. When you are (gladly) spending nearly 30 dollars for a burger to then have to spend 5 bucks a soft drink that is clearly understood as a free refill is a bummer. Hunched over celebrating my birthday this year - hit with a silly bill $20+ in lemonade - left to sit with no check in for a silly amount of time. There are some small changes to service and experience that would make this place a true 5 star event.

Food: We started with garlic bread that was absolutely awesome, followed by grilled octopus with a perfectly balanced, succulent marinade. Service: Our waitress, Casey, was excellent. Always checking in and very polite throughout the meal. She made the whole dining experience feel welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. Aesthetic: The restaurant has a warm, inviting look with stonework accents along the walls and an open barn-style concept. The inside opens up to a large bar with high ceilings and a giant fire place. There is an upstairs as well and seating in the back that lets you see the wood fired ovens. We ordered the clam chowder, wings, and pork belly bao buns. The chowder was packed with clams and maybe needed a tiny bit more salt but was filling. The wings came out as all flats which was a huge plus as I'm not too big of a fan of drumsticks. The pork belly bao buns were easily the best thing I've had and was so shocked about the flavor mix and how delicious they were. The Bao buns weren't doughy at all and had the perfect texture. Also highly recommend the spring time mocktail I had one and it was so pleasantly refreshing and sweet.

The restaurant has a decent amount of seating but seems to get busy. We ended up being seated later in the night around 8 and it was pretty empty as the night went on. We both got burgers and tried two appetizers - the burrata cheese while came with sourdough and figs, and their biscuits with a honey butter. Both appetizers were good, could have used a little more flavor but were comforting and tasty. The fig jam added good flavor to the burrata and bread which were pretty mild. We both were surprisingly full by the time we got to our burgers. The burger was solid and came with fries which were pretty good as well. Overall, we had a solid experience here. Addams Tavern is a nice place to go for a cozy night out, not too loud, with solid food, although pricy so make sure it's in your budget (we got some of the less expensive picks on the menu and it came out $60ish per person). Our waiter was also kind and had a good sense of humor.

The flavors came together beautifully--salty, sweet, and savory notes all working in harmony. Truly a dance in your mouth. One additional detail worth noting: the gender-neutral accessible restroom was spotless and had a very pleasant odor. It was top-notch, just like everything else about this restaurant. But it was a bit expensive when everyone was dying and all. Like am I really gonna risk my life for $16 sprouts? I think not. Now I think it's under new - new management. My cousin stopped by there about a month ago when she was in the area and gave it great reviews. I was feeling A Kind of Way a couple of weekends ago and just really wanted a cold beer. So me and huzzo stopped in. Service was good and beer was solid. This week I wanted another beer. Blame your president as he insists upon annihilating everyone and sending our collective pressure through the roof. We arrived about 20 minutes before the end of Happy Hour and snagged a couple of beers as well as wings and a shrimp quesadilla. The food was great but the service was the real stunner. I found myself stuck between two beers and the bartender suggested Arnold Palmering it and going halfsies on both. Fantastic decision - the mixed drink was refreshing and tart without being too pedestrian or too far afield. Food came out quickly and deliciously. Saved $15 on food prices alone during Happy Hour. Fat things: The bar stools are excellent - steel with a wide seat and a foot bar so your legs don't fall asleep. And they don't pack too many of them in so it's easy to get into and out of your seat without bumping someone else. Other stuff: They have regular indoor seating and an outdoor seating area on the side with couches, high table, and heat lamps. Overall, the space is open, airy, bright, and clean. It's pretty packed when the temps warm up but shoulder season is very nice for us right now. Be advised: Regular menu prices still seem steep - like everything else these days. But the food is good and they have a very nice craft beer selection. If you can't make happy hour and are looking to treat yourself this might be it. We'll def return!
