Waiter kept forgetting things. He forgot our straw after we had asked. There were tomatoes in my eggs when I had ordered no tomatoes. He had forgotten my pancakes that came with my meal. Then he had given us the check before we could order dessert (it was my child's birthday) in which also he had forgotten that they had run out of ice cream a few minutes after I had ordered a sundae. I hadn't been to an IHOP in years, but decided to go with a friend a few weeks ago. We had a very enjoyable meal, and an excellent waiter who was very attentive. We were there during the period of time when it kept snowing in Atlanta. He came over to the table to inform us that it was starting to snow outside, and if we needed our food to go he would arrange it in case we didn't want to get stuck driving in the snow. I've never had a waiter offer to box my food up and rush a check to the table in a courteous way like he really cared for his customers. We didn't leave or box up our food, but a few of his other tables did and they thanked him very much. read more

This IHOP was very quick and easy. It was cheap, as well. They also have a wide variety of syrups including Strawberry, Blueberry and even this one I've never heard of. Fact of life #1: Pancakes are awesome. Fact of life #2: This only applies to original pancakes. I was raised in a household where the belief was that pancakes are a blank canvas to be painted with butter, syrup, fresh fruit, and-at max-a sparse sprinkling of chocolate chips. So the options for the bananas foster/red velvet/cheesecake/icing-covered/sprinkle-injected concoctions that this place offers kind of grosses me out (People let their kids eat this stuff?!?!?). Thank God I lived in a home where scratch was close to Godliness and this debauchery never happened. I digress... Preference for the normal, traditional pancake aside, I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated here, even on Sunday mornings after church. The staff are pleasant and the wait for food has never been longer than 10 minutes, either. Omelettes are large enough to split - plus you get a choice of side, one of which is three pancakes, so, boom. You've got a meal for nine bucks. The food is very good, never ceases to amaze me. Can't say the serving is good tho. Went here three times before, and every time it just gets worst and worst. I was entering the building waiting almost 10mins, as the servers were in the back of the building talking and laughing. And when one did notice us she came up to us she look at us to head to toe then say "just you two" after replying yes. She then exhale, making it seem like she clearly didn't want to be here. Stopped in after amazing Halsey concert. It was busy but not too busy. Asia was great! We ordered double BLTs with fries and scarfed them down like candy. We came down to visit family and decided to have breakfast here. The service was great and the food s expected. The problem was that I slipped and fell on an extremely wet floor. They decided to dry the floor with towels after I fell. I requested my money back from breakfast and they refused. Of course my pants are wet. Never returning here again. I should've just called 911. Great service received by Shemar! All waitstaff was pleasant and upbeat, Shemar happened to be my server during this visit. Refills on drinks were without having to ask, he was in-touch with our needs. Food came out fast and was hot, we had warm syrup and just enough napkins. I ordered the chicken Florentine crepes and Nutella banana crepes and they were both good; I didn't love the white cheese sauce over the Chicken florentine crepes though. My waitress whom was unwilling to wear a name tag to work today was highly disrespectful from our first introduction. She had a heavy caribbean/jamacian accent and a long wavy brown /dark brown wig. She took a break to eat while serving us and never checked up on our table. I am disappointed with the service here it was not busy whatsoever and she came off very rudely. Duluth IHOP is clearly short staffed as proper training has not been established she charged us for sour cream. She also gave us nearly empty bottles of syrup for a table of 3. There was also too long of a wait in between getting my check we cleared off the tables ourselves before I walked up to the checkout to receive more nonchalant service from another staff with a short stiff hair press. Our waitress also sat us next to a group of loud old ladies in an empty restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant. The waitress was in the kitchen for at least ten minutes before she came for the tab. Poor service she needs to be retrained or fired. 0/10 experience, she needs a hair net as well, she had a bad attitude so that should have been handled when she entered the workforce at McDonald's. I don't expect much from an American diner but my food and service in a timely manner. Terrible food and service!! We came in late around 12am and were really thirsty. Finished our first waters pretty quickly and had to wait an extremely long time for refills. We decided to try the burgers because they look delicious! But wow... what a disappointment. Not only did they take a really long time to bring us out the correct food, but the burgers were SOAKED in grease. The buns were falling apart from the amount of grease and the lettuce was shiny, wilted, and disgusting. You'd think the international house of BURGERS could do better than that trash. The fries are also pretty gross, the only flavor they had was the taste of freezer burn. Our server was lazy and slow- we had to keep asking for things several times and from other people because ours kept forgetting and just standing around. Please, save yourself the trouble and go to Waffle House instead. read more

This was by far my worst ihop dining experience EVER! From the hostess not bothering to work on seating us, to several disorganized servers, to raw pancakes and oddly, onions found in a plate of french toast. When the issues were brought to managements attention, we were told they would discount the check and remove the french toast from the total. The discount was taken before the removal of the ordered items (basically came to a discounted drink). Totally an all around terrible experience! read more

i came here this morning and ordered a breakfast plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and pancakes for my brother in the hospital, his favorite place being ihop. i arrived at the hospital only to find that the hash browns were burnt to a crisp, as well as the bacon. my brother was not able to enjoy his breakfast and only ate the eggs. i went back to speak to the manager and he said, and i quote, "i don't see anything wrong with this plate, the hash browns are only crispy." quality should always be a priority. by doing this, ihop has lost 5 customers. i will never be coming back to this ihop. read more

Ordered a steak omelette. Waited 40mins even though there were only a few customers there. (the lady next to us also waited 30-40m and was clearly p.o.). They forgot to put the steaks on the steak omelette. I've been here several times and usually its not that bad, but I don't know what's going on today. This IHOP is near the gwinnett center, we came here getting out of a Concert. The place had some people, most of them had come form the concert too. The service was friendly but a little bit slow because she seem to be busy, the food took a bit as well. I love coming to IHOP. They have delicious flavored coffees, a variety of crepes (my favorite is the banana Nutella), various breakfast and lunch items, and desserts. I usually get a combo, which comes with your choice of crepes, French toast, or pancakes, along with eggs, your choice of meat, and hashbrowns. I've always gotten really good service from the servers. The food comes out very quickly, and they never mess up on my order. read more

This location is pretty standard for IHOP's. I went on a Sunday evening. It was virtually empty, only diners at 3 other tables. The waitress was friendly and made sure to check on me several times but was not overly present. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. The chicken was really good, the waffles were okay, but for some reason the eggs tasted really yolky. Overall not a bad experience. I would return to this location. read more

This location is a horrible one to go to !! Don't waste your time going in. The restaurant smells gross. The waitresses have an attitude as do the other staff. My husband and myself went in and they took my order and left him just sitting there they didn't take his order we had to call the waitress back over because she didn't take his order. She was totally rude about it like we were interrupting her from doing something else. The food was decent. No complains about the food. Just the staff and the restaurant. So if you want to be treated like crap and like you are bugging there staff by all means go to this location. I will definitely be going back to the one on scenic hwy that location is really nice. I go there at least 2 times a month , sometimes more depending on our mood. The food is always great , and for the most part it's always clean. However they need to do a little better in training their servers. There have been some rude servers , slow servers and just plain stupid ones . And I'm not complaining when it's super busy , I understand that. But if you only have 3 tables ... why are you taking 10 min to bring me my drinks ? I do however see past it and keep going since I want my fix. We just tip accordingly. The location on Lawrenceville has much better service. read more

I've been craving french toast for days. So I decided to try Ihop. Well it looked good but I couldn't taste any cinnamon. It just taste like bread and syrup. I've never had french toast so I thought it's supposed to taste like a cinnamon toast. Nope mine didn't. I also asked for a fried egg not scrambled. I got scrambled with no seasoning. Just wasn't good to me. My mom & aunt got fish & chips. Well my aunt wasn't happy because it was obviously frozen fish not fresh. I don't know if frozen is expected because it's Ihop but she definitely wasn't happy. Over all I see why I haven't been to Ihop in a while. I usually go for breakfast but maybe I just need to try the other lunch stuff. I'm not cutting them off yet. I'll try them again. read more

I took my son to this IHOP on 7/21/2015 for his birthday a happy time Right, not so much after this happen. We was sitting there and one of the manager stood on tables wiping dust off the vents. Ok lets Put the Icing on the cake another manager or worker started to dust with a spray air can and the real kicker this worker takes out a can of white spray paint and started to spraying it on the ceiling while myself, son, other customers sitting there eating. How dumb is that . The manager said since they are open 24hrs this is the only time they can do this. I said are you freaking kidding me spraying paint while people are eating .
