Quick review? Throw the whole place away. Save yourself time and disappointment, and go elsewhere. The people leaving good reviews are either not being honest OR their experience is definitely a one-off situation. Maybe they had one good worker, on one good day. Even the good reviews, barely exist. The reviews showing pictures of a clean establishment is laughable. Of course it appears clean, if no customers being seated and served in those areas. This place needs to shut down and try again, with new management and employee training. Detailed review? My family went to this location on 3/14 and waited over an hour to be seated. Like other reviewers stated, there were PLENTY of tables to seat customers. We witnessed several families walk out, never being seated and others who waited just to be greeted upon entering the restaurant. The lady greeting people just sat in a booth, rolling silverware into the napkins. At one point, she dropped the plastic container, that holds the wrapped silverware, on the floor. Customers helped to pick up everything while she remained seated in the booth. This is very unsanitary, as too many hands touched the same silverware that are being handed out to customers to eat with. In addition to that, she coughed in her hands and went right back to touching and rolling the silverware, never washing/sanitizing her hands. When carry out orders came to the bar, the lady just repeated and yelled the names that she heard the waitress yell. She wouldn't even get up and hand the food to the customers or check the orders for accuracy. The bar area was used as an extension for the waiting area since they refused to seat families. I believe this is their tactic to get people to leave, in order to do less work, while still receiving a paycheck There was even a couple of guys working that kept coming out from the back and looking upset to see how many people were waiting for a table. Only after waiting forever to be seated, we finally get a table. Ordered our drinks and checked out the menu for a few minutes. The same guys checking the front, were now circling the tables, looking around like they were unhappy to see customers. When the waitress returned to take our orders, she warned us that there would be ANOTHER 1 hour wait just to receive the food. My family decided to leave without ordering, glad to be informed of how intentionally slow and lacking this location is. As we were leaving, the same unsanitary greeter with her forced, fake smiled said "oh looks like sad faces are leaving ". Instead of trying to rectify the problem, she seemed elated, that another family was leaving. I wasn't surprised by the sarcasm but actually, no, on the contrary....definitely not sad leaving and not sad about not eating there. Matter of fact, I was personally relieved to leave. The employees at this location give-off the "smile in your face and spit in your food" vibes, especially since it is very apparent that they are unhappy to be working there. I only stayed, against my better judgment, because it was my niece's birthday and she really wanted to try this place. The waitress saved us from the inedible food, that was yet to come. The place was so expensive for no reason. it sounded like there was a dentist office in the kitchen because we kept hearing drilling sounds and other sounds that you would hear at a dentist. I am a local and I have tried giving this place another chance thinking things were different from my last visits. The staff is NOT attentive from the moment you come in and they can walk or pass by and it takes them time to acknowledge you to get you seated. Once seated, you are not greeted by your waitress for another 10mins or more. You sit and look around, and it's not even busy given the fact that they do have a good quantity of waitresses for the people sitting down. On the empty tables, the dirty dishes sit around for 30mins before they start getting picked up, Not appealing. It almost feels like staff hides in the back, to avoid customers. They have a parking lot with 10 cars in it on a Saturday night and they're open till 10. We got in and there was one family in line ahead of us who got seated. They said wait 15 minutes and we did. Another hostess came up took one look at us and said you need to wait out in your car. I asked how long the remaining weight would be and they said 10 more minutes. Worst IHop I've ever been to. 3 times recently I've eaten here and 3 times I've gotten the same service. The front check in area is a zoo. There is one person running ragged checking in people, running DoorDash food, seating, bussing tables and sometimes ringing people out. So you go in, elbow your way through angry guests and once you get to the front, it's like pulling teeth to get the poor girl at the front to acknowledge you. So, keep reading for the checkin experience. The first time I came, the girl didn't have the tablet to check me in so she wrote my name down on an old receipt with a yellow highlighter. Said 20 minutes and I had to wait in my car. I waited roughly 40 and watched tons of people go in and not come out. I went to see how long it would be and I wasn't on the list in the tablet. I mean I'm not surprised and they did make it right by seating us right away. The second and third times were the same. Fight my way thru the hoard of people waiting to be seated, although I'm told every time to wait in my car. Ten minutes passes before I can get the attention of the girl. Get my name on the list, this time on the iPad, and told 20 minute wait and to go wait in my car. Even though no one else is. Fine. I wait in my car for 40 minutes. Watch people go in and not come back. Head back into the restaurant and am met with attitude when I try to find out where I am on the list because it been 40 minutes. We finally get seated and I've had the same waiter on visits 2 and 3. He is so very nice and I would never complain about him at all. He's got his crap together and memorizes your order and is awesome. His only flaw is that he doesn't refill drinks without you asking. The food here is mediocre compared to other IHOP's. But I come because my husband likes it and it's fairly inexpensive. Overall, this location could be great but is so poorly managed. However, as time went on she began to often forget things like even bringing silverware when we were seated. Had to wait 30 minutes for our food. It was not busy at the time when we came in. Let me start with this....they were completely undermanned. One poor guy was seating because of call offs as we all piled in for after 4th breakfast. We were actually seated in a reasonable amount of time credit to that poor soul seating everyone...now we get to the real problem...the food...undercooked bacon, eggs with enough water in them to fill the whole plate and a dry pancake for my 2 year old son as well as yet again...some undercooked bacon.....yeah I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!! We waited for 10 minutes in an empty lobby to be acknowledged and checked in or seated. We never were. There were two parties waiting behind us and one of them left when we did due to the long wait. They said they waited 15 minutes without being checked in the last time they were there. There were 4 tables with customers, one had food, and the others looked like they had been waiting for quite a while based on the looks on their faces. I ignore the wait to be seated sign, find a table, make some noise with the chair and usually someone pops out of the kitchen. 5 minutes later 2 perfect eggs, bacon, toast, coffee and orange juice are at the table. And they do make absolutely perfect over medium eggs. A little singed and crunchy edges yokes that are just starting to thicken, whites that are firm but not rubbery. I stopped by here on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020 around 3 pm in hopes of finding the quality of service and food one would expect from this well known restaurant chain in America. Parking was ample and spacious. There was not one person in the restaurant which was my first red flag. The waiter was friendly, attentive, prompt, and courteous. There was no water served. The facility looked clean and new. I ordered a BLT with French fries, and a small Pepsi because they did not serve Coke. The drink was only filled three fourths of the way, minimal ice, and very watered down; warm. The BLT was cold, no mayonnaise, with a generous, but cold amount of exceptionally tasteless, fatty, rubbery bacon served on warm toast with a small amount of what looked like lettuce and a left over stale tomato. The French fries were very good, hot, with plenty of ketchup bags. I suggest you go where they appreciate your patronage and know how to cook a simple but classic sandwich. BTW, I did not see one other employee other than the waiter while I was there, and he was wearing a mask.
